Selene took a breath as she finally made it to the training area ignoring the others around her she moved towards an area where the element earth was at its strongest. She had always been natural at earth manipulation and so far she wasn't sure she would enjoy this year at the school. Taking a breath she centred herself before raising her arms a pile of earth flowing up into the air as she twisted and turned with it changing it into shapes as she threw it as far as she could the chunk landing against the far end of the training area. Her eyes opened as she seemed to feel a little calmer deciding to practice more then one power at a time she tuned into the earth and made her movements flow she seemed almost graceful in her movements the earth seeming to guide her as she went through offensive and defensive moves practicing as peices of earth flew and moved around her doing there own dances. The deep listening helped in knowing when an opponent was near and she hoped that soon she would be able to spar with another student. She found I the year before most avoided her because of her unusal eyes and she didn't care she had spent a lot of time studying and practicing.

Selene had tuned out of the room so she didn't even hear James question. Although she could tell that someone near by was using their powers she figured it was just some student messing around as they normally did on the first day. Coming back from zoning out she heard James speak again before regestering the first question he asked. "No it isn't I can heal, manipulate earth and a thing called deep listening which is basically listening to the earth and being who walk upon it I can pick up bits and peices of of humans but they are mentally stronger I can pick up on if powers are being used though." She said quietly. Her eyes looking around the room before she rose. "Please escuse me I think I will retire from here." Turning she left the cafeteria heading towards the training area wanting to practice her earth manipulation power.

Selene smiled softly as she heard Virgo spoken from one of the boys. Being herself a Virgo she wondered what powers he had. Looking to Sonja she nodded her head a water user pisces to be precise. He seemed like a good enough person and seemed to understand where she was coming from. Taking a breath her eyes seemed to look up for a moment. One blue one gold in colour a birth defect that she didn't perticularly like. "I'm a Virgo." She uttered the words seeming somewhere between a blessing and a curse. Lifting a tomato to her lips she took a bite and then looked at her empty bowl before closing her eye and tuning out of the cafeteria into the surrounding areas wanting to hear if anything interesting was going on outside.

Sonja continued reading for a moment before he realized that someone had just been talking to him. Looking up, he saw the other girl sitting there and wondered how long she had been there. "Sonja," he replied, adjusting his glasses. After a brief moment of quiet, or at least as quiet as he thought it could be in the noisy cafeteria, he noticed that she looked uncomfortable. Perhaps she wasn't used to the school yet; the year had just started, after all. "Are you new here?"

James wasn't having much luck with finding other Virgo students so he decided to head to the cafeteria. When he got there, he got himself a turkey sandwich and looked around for a place to sit. His eyes saw two students sitting near a corner and James decided that he should be social since this was his first year at the academy. He walked over to Selene and Sonja."Hello, do you mind if I sit here?" he said to them as he placed his plate on the table and waited for their response.

Selene sighed slightly, "no I'm not new here simply prefer my own company." She murmured her hair was covering her golden coloured eye her blue one looking around for a moment. Flicking her redish brown locks over her shoulder she noticed another coming towards where she and Sonja sat. "Most people here are to loud for my liking." She noticed James sit down and took a breath as he asked if it was ok for him to join them. "Yeah I don't see why not." She whispered as her hand came across a lettuce leaf bring it to her lips just with her power showing she was an earth user although not what type.

Looking across the cafeteria she sighed a little the outwardly shy 17 year old was trying her best to communicate with the two sitting at the table with her. "So what zodiacs are you?" She asked trying to make conversation as she continued to fed herself the salad by her own power.

After getting his food in the cafeteria - some sort of rice and vegetable dish - he sat down in a random corner and continued reading his dictionary. Unfortunately, he didn't notice that there was a girl there already as he sat down at the table...

A sigh escaped her lips as she noticed a person sit down at the table she was at. Taking a deep breath in she spoke the words soft and little more then a whisper "Hi I'm Selene." She kept it short and sweet not really knowing what to say to people at the best of times. Looking at the guy she noticed he was reading a dictionary and thought to herself it was a rather strange thing to read but then again she herself had read one a few years back to see if it was interesting. Waiting until the person had spoke to her she quietly at her salad as she half tuned out of the cafeteria to see if anything interesting was going on outside finding nothing she returned to the loud noise of people chatting hoping to get away from it all soon.

Opening her eyes Selene realised that she had fallen asleep so far no one had come to claim the other bed in her dorm room for which she was greatful for. Her stomach rumbled as her redish locks fell over one shoulder rising to her feet she walked over to the window and looked out over the school before sighing. She knew she had to go down to the cafeteria sooner or later and so turning she headed out of the earth dorm and over to the spacious cafeteria where she saw students from every dorm sitting and chatting. Grabbing a salad she moved to a corner her eyes moving around locking onto faces of different people as she quietly hoped no one would bother her at least until classes started.

Selene stood in the back not really paying attention to the oriantation she never really did instead she opted to listening to the earth itself which was a buzzing the first day back so many people around caused her to tune out completely to everything. As the orintation finished She picked up her bag and walked towards the earth Dorm she wanted to get herself set up and relax. Walking into the same room she was in last year she unpacked her books stacking them nicely upon the shelf over the bed before she sat down and the. Curled up her two tones eyes closing as she relaxed hoping that no one chose to be her room mate this year she preferred to be on her own and another person always made her feel like she didn't belong.

Name: Selene Greens

Age and Year: 17 Junior

Gender: Female

Personality: A sweet girl who is very calm but also incredibly shy, she dislikes being around large crowds and is usually found reading or studying. She is wise beyond her years, always around when people seem to be in trouble. She is a loyal friend and sticks by those who she gets close to. She is pure hearted and cares for all living things although at times she chooses to go against her own nature which she believes makes her a weak link. She is self conscious and hates how she is normally making her slightly chaotic in the ways of what she wants and doesn’t want to do.

Zodiac: Virgo

Zodiac powers: Healing: Selene can heal most injuries, however she can only do a limited amount with this power as it drains her strength and she finds herself passing out if she does to much.

Earth Manipulation: Moving the earth comes naturally to Selene and can be used as a weapon or a defence she needs minimal concentration to be able to do it and is known to accidentally move earth when she is stressed out.

Deep Listening: Selene’s calm nature has given her the gift of being able to listen to the earth, finding out much about what is happening around her. She can tell if the land is moving or is in trouble as well as being able to listen to most things connected to the earth itself within a 100 metre radius of where she is located.

History: Selene’s mother died in childbirth, so she grew up as an only child. Her father whilst a loving and caring man struggled with the loss of his wife and so for most of Selene’s life she was raised in the care of a nanny. Her quiet nature made her an easy child to look after and so long as she had books and access to the outside world she was happy. When Selene turned 10 her father came out of hiding and started to spend more time with her. She grew to love the father she never knew and as well as the mother who died when she was barely a minute old.

All throughout her childhood she was invisible to the rest of the world despite her unusual exotic looks, as she grew her preferred being alone with the outside world itself and enjoyed many times just sitting in the large tree within her backyard. Whilst she has had a good childhood she constantly fights her own nature and it is not uncommon to see her verbally doing so away from others.
