Dead men tell no tales
So listen to this story from a whale
She sailed the silver river
But only found a purple butler
There was a grey parrot, and the crane both agree
That the turtle should search for the one manatee
Now you see your monster
Or maybe your insanity
The pirate needs more ales

I like this idea. Count me in.

Edit: I do have a question. Would Satyrs/Faun be an acceptable Fae? I'm not sure what season to put them with, but Satyrs are known for their greed and lust or use of those qualities so I was thinking Seelie Faun would be Summer and Unseelie Satyrs would be in the Fall for courts.
@VandyHaha it sounds more and more similar.

@RainDashI don't know what would draw your thief in, but I feel like my paladin would object to his actions. He wouldn't do anything more than that and after objecting once he would back off and just be casual again. He would probably be friends as he sees the thief as someone to convert and as someone that could be useful later on. Plus if he grew up in a strict castian family, thiefs would seem like a lot of fun to him and be someone he would like to have as a friend. Not sure how you want your thief to feel, but the snarky attitude shouldn't be a problem for the paladin. As long as the thief doesn't mind being ignored slightly if he gets too snarky. For meeting I like the roomate thing a little more, the training partners could work just as well and if you have any other ideas I'm open to them. If there's a third person that is more in the middle of us we could both be friends with that person and meet that way. Any way we do this is fine with me.
This sounds cool.

I like the idea of the kind of the banter between the two. Oh, should we work on how they know each other? Like... roommates or something?

Yeah that would be cool, and their banter will be fun. For two so different I feel like something such as being roomates is the only way to bring them together.

@Vandy
I'm assuming since castian was very similar to christian that it's basically going to mimic that with morals and such? If not some basics for the religion will be helpful for a paladin.
A paladin and a sarcastic ass go out to fight monsters...

Truth be told I tend to form my characters according to the sheets that are put up, so this probably won't be the final character set up.

I feel like a lot of jokes start this way. Or adventures that end up with quite a few jokes.

And yeah I chose this because it seemed to fill roles an assassin-y thief would be lacking in, and I could have fun with it.
That sounds fine. A tall shield and a hammer. Hammers are fun and Paladins need someway to squash heretics I suppose.
@Vandy
I think I might just want to do a dwarf tank. Not sure if going dual shields would be appreciated though. And I think I'll have him take a more laid back attitude compared to the louder attitude dwarfs tend to get. Maybe a Castian Paladin.
@PerseusArcheanYes I definitely agree with that. Maybe Landon will end up the next Jack Frost anyways. =)
"I'll join you." Landon chimed in. "This might prove good for me, and there's a theory I want to try out. If we could make this flashy though that would help me out, I am actually looking to see if I can get a few believers. The mortals in Africa have believed in some crazy things in the past, maybe I can be one of their gods. Although hopefully this has spread farther than South Africa. I'm going to need some smaller under developed tribes to believe me, otherwise you'll probably be right and I'll just become Jack Frost."

The conversation was getting boring again and Landon liked the turn Jera decided to take. He didn't care much about Anatole's crusade, but it seemed like a group was preparing to venture down. He was rather new to being a god and wanted to see how much followers could help him with his powers. If I get enough requests of others maybe I can use them to do what I want instead.
