"Yeup. Silent as the grave, those two. I still don't even know their names." She replied.
She shrugged. "No idea. I just got here myself. Apparently those two have been here awhile, though. You have no idea how hard it is to get anything out of them. It took me half an hour just to get that much."
"...Over a pad, too." She sighed again. She straightened when she was done and turned to look at him with a slightly dubious, slightly exasperated look. "I love you, Victor, but you really do scare the hell out of me." She told him bluntly.
"Trust me, I'd rather he didn't." She replied.
"You got that, by chasing down some stupid band of thieves? Really?" She replied, slightly exasperated. She sighed, then shook her head. "What am I going to do with you..."
She shrugged one shoulder, since James was resting his chin on her other one. "Just your run of the mill swindlers, thieves, and hired assassins." She replied. "Though, there were these two guys I remember, who were they..." She frowned in thought for a moment. "Oh yeah, ratboy and narcissus. Those two were complete weirdos." She nodded. "Hah! I remember the first time I met them, too. We were hired by some crazy lady to steal some notepad from a..." She paused. "It was him! It was Victor! Woah, no wonder he's always so rude to me. Hah!" She laughed at the sudden realization.
"Mhm. So, what'd you do to your arm?"
"You know, I've been thinking." Keenan said, now to Barrett. "I think I recognize Victor from somewhere. But I can't really place him. I mean, I think I recognize him from before I met you guys."
"Well, once you open the package, you have to make it all and eat it all in one sitting. You can't let it just sit around, then it gets all nasty, because then the grease solidifies back into a fat, and..." She stopped. "It's just gross, trust me."
The flamehead nodded once before returning to the constant busywork.

Keenan grinned at him. "Now that's much better." She laughed.
