Abbie Kaapo Laukkanen

As I was tinkering with some of the electronics on the table which I claimed as mine as soon as I walked in, I heard the door open and then close rather ominously. I turned my head slightly to the sound of a bag being unpacked, glancing at the man that was now in my room. That must be Eli. I thought to myself. Only after a few moments of staring at him, I realized how fucking tall he is. I shook my head as I turned back to my work. Who cares if he's really tall.. And kinda cool looking. That last thought made me chuckle ever so slightly. If he wasn't going to greet me at all, then I have no reason to say anything at all. I'd probably get a little flustered trying to anyway.

While I was lost in thoughts that weren't about my work, a static discharge flew out of the device that I was working on, making a loud SNAP noise. Of course, I didn't even flinch since shit like this always happened.

Erm... Let's say he doesn't since the moron rping him failed to remember that they were bunk mates lol

The opportunity to edit is still there, but if you're okay with leaving it that way, I'll do a post.
The heat and humidity of the place was sudden, sending a shock into her system, the strong smell of sulfur and smoke made things worse on her sense of smell. She glanced around, seeing many smaller creatures, similar to the large one that had appeared in the arena. It was apparent to her that this Screamer didn't summon the creature, he merely lured it into the arena. She spotted the Screamer, laying dead on the ground a few meters away from the portal. She moved slowly towards the dead body, so that she wouldn't disturb the small creatures more than they already had. She slung the man's arm over her shoulder and tried to move him, but a sharp pain pierced her side causing her to stumble slghtly. Megumi looked up to see the squire pulling out his kris. She knew what he was thinking of doing, "Don't bother. This is their home, it's best that we leave them alone, we're also in no condition to fight all of them. Come here and help me." She said in a stern, commanding tone as she attempted to drag the large man's body toward the portal, making very little progress.

They needed to move quickly, the portal was already closing up. If the squire didn't come quickly to help her, she was going to ditch the body and jump back through the portal by herself, she wasn't about to die because of this.
@FullMetalHeart Thanks! I drew it myself~ It's a depiction of me as an onigiri xD

Also, does Eli even notice Abbie being in the room? they're bunk mates after all :o
Oh deary me. Things are escalating!!!
She gave the other woman a slight nod with a warm smile as they praised her music. It happened quite often, usually it was just a few passersby who say it, but hearing it from this girl made her that little bit happier.

Alya felt the slight change in wind and frowned slightly. With such a large piece of meat, the Bandersnatchs were bound to get rowdy. This could potentially become a dangerous situation. She stood up quickly, putting her flute to her lips. Now would be a good time to try something with her 'new found' magic. She started to play her music, she could feel the magic flow forth. Follow me. She thought unconsciously. She slowly stepped away from Trix as she played, her eyes gazing at the Bandersnatchs.

As usual, Echo was the first to be affected by the music, silently following his mother as she played. The Bandersnatchs perked up their ears, listening to the tune. As if they had totally forgotten about the meat scent, they too began to follow the elven girl. A small pack of four Bandersnatchs had grouped up in front of Alya as they followed her music.
Megumi felt some satisfaction when the man's stupid grin dropped like his shield did, but this feeling was short lived as it was replaced by sharp pain as he punched her in the ribs. She couldn't avoid it because she was already in the air. The punch sent her tumbling onto the grass, but fortunately, the dagger had pierced the man's body before she was sent flying. She lay still for a moment, her body trying to recover from the sudden shock. She was finding it hard to breath as well, but she recovered quickly.

She slowly pushed herself upright, a sharp feeling of agony struck her as she moved. She put her hand gently on the spot where the man had punched. Shit. He had broken a couple of her ribs. But this wasn't the time to be worrying about injuries. She looked over to where the Screamer was only to see him fleeing into his weird portal. She was considering whether or not to follow him, but she was apprehensive about going in. Her train of thought was interrupted by a Squire who also had some sort of injury to his ribs.

"I'm going through. The superiors will want the body, and any information we can get from the other side. If we're quick, we can get back before it closes, I think. Join me?"

"Go with you? That's ridiculous." She scoffed, wincing as she got up. She slowly walked over to where her dagger lay, picking it up with her free hand. "What are we waiting for?" She added, giving the Squire a cheeky smirk before climbing into the portal. The superiors wanted the guy right? There's money involved in this. Possibly a chance to get close to Svarak.
Alya smiled warmly as Rilana praised their demonstration. She didn't think that what they were doing was too impressive, but it was great that her and Echo's hard work has been noticed by someone. That someone being a seasoned animal trainer.

As the moon fey gave her advice and taught her methods of teaching Echo, she scribbled onto a new piece of parchment which she had brought out from her bag. Looking up and nodding every so often to signify that she was still listening. This woman was brimming in knowledge as one would expect, but the way she relayed that knowledge made it easy for Alya to grasp. As Rilana finished teaching her, Alya realized that she had run out of ink for her quill. Thankfully the lesson was over.

She nodded again at the fey's last piece of advice, it was something that was easy to remember so she didn't need to take notes on it. She wondered what color collar she should get for Echo. Maybe one that was blue like her hair? That would stand out pretty easily on his red coat.

Alya had noticed that the sky had begun to darken and that it may be good if they made camp here for the night.
She was about to take out her paper and quill, but the blonde woman had already handed her a sizable chunk of meat. She nodded at the woman again in acknowledgement before she gave the piece of meat to Echo, who enthusiastically chewed into it.

Alya heard the rustling in the grass and mused at the reaction of the pups. As guard dogs, it was normal for them to react to anything unknown, but these animals weren't something to be weary of, unless you have a nice piece of meat. Bandersnatches were scavengers, or at least, that is what she was told, and they aren't aggressive unless provoked. "What are they?" She heard the blonde mumble. Alya promptly brought out some parchment from her leather bag, scribbling onto it quickly with her ink and quill.

She timidly tapped the woman on the shoulder to get her attention, should she respond, Alya had a piece of paper to hand to her.

"Those are Bandersnatches. They're harmless, but try to keep your food out of sight.. My name is Alya, and my wolf pup is named Echo. It is a pleasure to meet you, and thank you for the meat."

As much as Alya enjoyed writing, she felt a pang of irritation every time she had a conversation with someone. It wasn't because it was annoying to have to write to them, it was because it was inconvenient for the person she was talking to, to have to talk to someone.. who couldn't.
