Thaum: Bugtanical Gardens (Group A)

"Holy butterberries..." Like Dylan, Trixie too remained by Don's side as Estelle fetched other bugs left and right. Unfortunately the prankster remained all too captivated by the milipederien to even bother comforting her sobbing superhero. That thing couldn't be a bug, could it? No way that thing was--

Then it hit her. She spoke way too fast for her tongue to handle, slurring her words and detailing her story with her hands. "Oh... oh! Oh it's just like- it's just like that one part of 'the Wonderboy' comic! You know, when he and his super hot mama sidekick fought this giant bug monster that was terrorizing the village and, oh my omelets I think this is the same buggy that Wonderboy fought! Wooooowwww." She was too caught up with staring into the milipederien's soul to even realize the amount of critters Estelle had brought back with her.

Seeing as Trixie's eyes were still locked on the bigger creature, she totally thought Dylan was referring to the milipederien with his question. It was arguably cute if you looked at it long enough. "We should call him Leggy because he has a lot of legs." Then followed Trixie's prodding of the three girls, asking if they could keep Leggy as a pet. Or even a companion like Kapi. Because Leggy would be a totally awesome sidekick.

Thaum: Colosseum (Group B)

Just as Amy wrapped up healing the final patient there, she let out an enormous sigh, rolling her shoulders and stretching her neck. That amount of healing takes some work! But it'd be so anti-guildy to call it a day now when everyone was still fighting out there. From just around the corner, Amy could hear Jeff and Moira yelling, followed by Selan's lovingly piercing song.

Wait, piercing? Did the songstress have a megaphone in her voice or something? Amy did not expect this from someone she thought was rather soft-spoken, talents aside. "How the fuck can she do that!?"

As Amy returned to the open, she felt oddly invigorated the more Selan sang on. Though there was nothing she could do strength-wise, she put her magical prowess to use immediately and sent out defense buffers to Moira and Lute first, before reaching the remaining four known names, including Selan and even Jeff. Despite the monstrous size of the scorpion, she was confident they would knock it out in a breeze - assuming those inflamed asshats stayed out of the guilders' way. Still it was best to take precautions and minimize casualties at all costs.

Gonna write up a quickie post now! My morning posting time for tomorrow and Friday are compromised due to midterms, but I'll still be posting after classes (around this time or earlier), so no worries on me missing anymore rounds this week. XD;

Okay I'm back haha. Still gotta read everything since my last post then I'll get mine off and poof, off to sleep. Got some Advil to abate the pain for now, but I should really catch up on sleep tonight lol.

Also Tae, yikes! Wish I were there to have helped you out. Spiders are the cutest things <3. Hope you get the classes you want for Fall too! I'm signed up for two 3-hour long class over the summer (only twice a week for one month, but 6 hours straight of classes for the sake of saving gas money huhuhuhu), but I'll only keep em if I get a summer grant to cover the costs. Otherwise lol screw that. Much as I want to graduate on time/early, I'm not that desperate!

EDIT: ... I think I picked a good time to remove Trixie momentarily from the playing field. ^^; That was only supposed to be for one post @ her absence, but I think that ended up working in my favor hahaha. Anyway post is up! It's now 8:30 and I'm off to sleep. Good night, errbody!

"Took ya guys long enough!" Trixie called out to the incoming Pride members as she heard their footsteps come her way. They were not immediately in sight however, as she was, as it seemed, trapped underneath the enormous leech monster. Which pinned her to the ground with its lower torso, and had its head raised above her as if ready to dive in at any second.

But Trixie was calm, giggling even. "Dylan's big net kind of poofed into thin air, but that's okay. This mister leech monster knew he stood no chance against the powers of the Wondergirl! So instead of running away he decided to play wrassling instead. I'm not good at wrassling though, so he wins." (The poor girl meant wrestling.)

The leech let out a monstrous cry as it whipped its head to see the Pride's newest members: a giant spider and an even bigger, captured milepederian. Thick, green, and bubbling saliva continued to droop from the leech's wide mouth, splattering beside Trixie, before it skittered off the prankster and back into hiding.

"Awww you guys scared him." Once free, Trixie stretched while still lying on the floor, before standing herself up and dusting off the remaining saliva splatters on her clothes. "Oh, it's not poison or melty or anything. It's just oopy-goopy green saliva. Totally harmle--! What's... what's that."

Thaum: Colosseum (Group B)

Amy only turned her attention back to the arena upon hearing the crackling of electric sparks. Light flooded the cage, and the Blobfish Avengers' disqualification was announced. Then hell broke loose - first behind the two ladies, then on the arena front as well with the influx of hungry creatures. Including an enormous scorpion flying right their way. Luckily Robin escorted Amy in time before she could get caught in the ruckus; as much as the cleric intended to avoid any magical assertion at all that day, rolling her eyes when Robin and Selan made their requests, she'd much take doing her job over death by scorpion.

Whatever awkward dashing Amy pulled off came to a slow halt as she noticed the amount of people grossly injured, both able-bodied and wimpy. Her jaw dropped open - "What the fuck, you expect me to heal a bunch of burly men I've never met before? Just tell them to rub some dirt on it and get their asses back out there!" - but she remained speechless instead. There were a couple of other medics already assisting, but no one else who knew any healing arts nearly as impressive as what the cleric could muster.

She grit her teeth. After removing her gem from her clutch, she pressed it between her palms and held her hands close to her forehead - a signal of prayer. As she muttered, the four people closest to her were enveloped in a golden, warm glow. Their vitality was instantly restored, if not improved even, though their wounds would worsen if they were to charge back into battle with their newfound energy. Then Amy worked on a small healing spell for the next four, and continued to do this until everyone there received clerical assistance. The entire time she prayed the words "Gods, I better be reimbursed for this." and other similar quotes in a language unheard of in these parts.

Hi guys, I'm still at work but I'd like to call next post so I can start /right away/ when I get home in about 45 minutes haha. I have a killer headache and am gonna go straight to sleep after I post. ~__~

Tae, Pacman, and Danni all covered everything I've wanted to say about Lute/Delilah and posting sizes, so I won't add anything there haha. :)

And hello to you too Neo! Nice to see we have a fan haha. Not sure if Pacman's mentioned anything in the ooc (I'm on my phone atm and don't feel like checking haha), but unfortunately the RP is closed to newcomers; it's invitational only atm. But thanks for expressing interest!

Gahhh I am so so sorry for my inconsistency as of late. It's 2am and I'm still working on the essay that's due today; I will not have time to post in the morning this round, but I'll come back after work this evening and write a post around then (around 7-8pm pst). I haven't caught up with the ICs either, so I truly hope I'm not holding anyone up in doing this. QQ;;;

I don't think I'll be posting today unfortunately. ^^; Dental appointment in a bit, followed by work. I'd like to spent the few hours I've got free afterwards to do homework due tomorrow before my super late class tonight, so fitting a post in would be a bit difficult.

Disney Fairies: A Winter's Tale

Yeah, I was thinking his clothing would have triangular strips of leaves pretty much, just basic things you'd see on other fairies, including for his baseball-cap-esque hat. |D I looove the idea of using a seed husk for the top button thing omg! That's too cute hahaha.

And I think I'll go with the flame-retardant sap as well to explain for his 'inflammable' clothes; considering the fairies' size anyway the most his fire could do is scorch or singe little things, since I'm thinking the largest "fireballs" (e.g. for juggling or heating in general lol) he could make would probably be the size of his head. So a minor thing like heat/flame-resistant not-too-sticky sap would be best for his attire. Thanks for the input on that, I'm a bit miffed I didn't think of the sap thing myself actually lmao!

Yeah I'm the same way Kathi lmao! I buggered up the first round of Tales (pre-RPG days) because I thought Trixie's guns could be lethal if I had her shoot someone's head, but it turns out that was not the case! I'm sure Pacman and Buns both so fondly remember that moment. =____= lmfao. There's always this monstrosity for comparison, at any rate. |D

I gotta buzz off to work now, so smell ya guys later!
