Happy birthday, Kathi <3

Pacman enjoy your break, you need it! That second to last gif though lmao

As for weather updates, I'm not on fire yet so yaaaay
Uhhhhh

Guys this fire tornado (first image) took place nearby where I work on Sundays, 40 minutes up north from home. In the words of my brother, we have actually caught the fuck on fire. Needless to say I'm getting a little anxious. >____> Tae, be careful D:

Thaum?: Group A

Not too far from Marcus and Estelle was Trixie, who still lied on the floor with her knees pulled to her chest, and arms wrapped around her legs. Though the duo's conversation was within earshot, the prankster did not acknowledge them. Instead she remained rocking back and forth, shuddering and murmuring. Her eyes were wide and red.

"Not supposed to... not... supposed to..."

Thaum?: Group C

Amy took a sharp breath. In an instant, the hands, the blinding whiteness and voices previously surrounding her were gone in a flash. Her heart threatened to burst from her chest, but she drew a hand to it and began taking deeper, more rhythmic breaths. As her vision adjusted to her new environment, she sat herself up and ran her hands up and down her arms. Goosebumps. Closing her eyes, Amy let out a final shiver and muttered something incoherent. She then scanned the ground before her before reaching over and snagging something glowing brightly - her red gem.

Again murmuring words of relief, she brought the jewel to her cheek, feeling its coldness against her skin. The aura encasing it began to pulse, and she pulled it back to observe it. Someone - no, multiple bodies were nearby. Were they the others? ...Was she out of that hellish nightmare?

Fog, she was surrounded in some fog. Much darker than wherever she was previously. Slowly she stood herself up and extended her gem before her. It brightened, bringing light to her position. Amy then began to walk aimlessly, looking all around. "Hello? Anyone here? ...Estelle? Trixie? Se--"

She took a step back; Dylan had come into view. At once an image of him reaching for her neck came to mind, just like moments ago - but she quickly shook it off. Deep breath in, deep breath out. Fingers clenched tightly around her bright gem. "D... Dylan. Have you seen the others?" She stood her ground, a fair distance away from him.
Gonna start on a post in a bit. ^^ Excellent, excellent setup so far Pach! (Even if you didn't get me Bosch's autograph. >:C) And awesome followup, Buns! :) Also good luck with the doc appointment, Tae! Hope things turn out all right!

In other news, I think I'm gonna quit my on-campus job. I've been going straight to sleep Tues-Fri soon as I get home, meaning I get zero done those days. The day-in-day-out exhaustion is not worth the extra dough. Both my mum and bro recommend it anyway, plus my other job's boss (bro's bestie) might be willing to give me more work too, so I think I'll do just that. At any rate, more free time to spend not sleeping or whining so much! :D

As for musiccc, I spent a couple of hours so far today learning the first song on this medley (up until about 1:30, called "Cleaning Out My Closet"). Transcribing it myself by ear; atm I can play fluidly until 0:30, so that's 1/3 down! I'm gonna try to learn the rest by the end of this weekend. It's so pretty omggg

And I think Imagine Dragons fits Syed so well, Buns lmfao

EDIT: Posted! As a side note, if Lucien, Lute, or Dylan tried to approach Amy for whatever reason, she would back away. :) Danni I hope allowing Amy to spot Dylan was all right, just let me know if you'd like that changed! ^^
Taeeee you don't have any fires in your area, do you? D:

The falling red gem was snatched from the sky in an instant, and Amy found herself jerked across the blinding white room. She landed coarsely beside a dirty-haired man, who fixated his vicious gaze on her. He chuckled deeply, flicking the gem skyward and catching it over and over. “Amaranth, oh my flower! How I've missed you!” Flick, catch. Flick, catch. "It's been far too long since-"

Once again Amy was flung across the ground. The gem was snatched a second time by a male figure behind him, this one in regal clothing and flowing black hair. "You remember me, Amaranta? We had so much fun!" He shuffled towards the fallen cleric, fingers tapping all along the gem. Amy's body shuddered in involuntary reaction. "Too bad my lungs failed me just days after you left, mija. If only it was in you to save me!"

Amy swiped her finger across her lip. "Fuck off. You didn't–"

Suddenly she was lifted from the ground, arms lifting her from beneath her back and knees as if she were a damsel. With a shiver, she looked up to see her new captor: Largo. He roared with laughter, his expression as jovial as ever. "Sorry boys! Better luck next time, hahahaha! Oh wait." But in a flash all cheerfulness in his visage vanished, now replaced with wide eyes. Realization. "I'm dead, aren't I?" Amy refused to meet his eyes. "I guess I'm not worth saving, huh?"

Largo's body vanished with a puff of smoke, and Amy was back on the floor. More familiar voices rumbled and roared behind her, but she never looked back. "Not falling for this bullshit. I'm not that... ... ...!"

Instinctively her hands jumped to her lungs and throat, fumbling as she struggled to breathe. Her eyes turned skyward, finding her gem once again at a lofty height. Directly below it stood Marcus, holding his staff up to keep her jewel afloat. His smile widened as Amy looked his way. "Marcus, no, you're not..."

And then... a feminine voice.

"Monster! You're a monster!"

Amy exhaled sharply. "Trixie?"

She lifted her eyes to see the prankster on the floor before her, with tears flowing down her cheeks. In her hands was... a seedling. Trixie's glare focused on Amy's own. "You could have saved him, Amy! Why didn't you save him!?"

The cleric said nothing, still choking for air as her hands continued running atop one another. Then there was more pressure - another hand clasped atop her own, belonging to one of the many males crouching nearby her - Don's. "Ooh, I hope he gives me that thing next!" Another hand piled atop his, this time Dylan's, then Syed's, who both muttered something similar. But Amy's attention was on Trixie.

"You worry about yourself so much you can't help anyone else! How? How can you just sacrifice lives like this!? You're selfish, Ames! Selfish!"

Amy could only avert her eyes back to the skybound gem. The room began to darken. "Father..." she gasped. "Please... this is not what I..."
Yeee, I got nothing else either for Aria. <__> Buns has a good lead though, like writing out Aria's thought process, or displaying more of what her internal reactions/emotions are to what's happening to her? Maybe even tying it into more personal history stuff might jog some ideas, or something haha! /is not much help at all

Buns you showed me the sketch for that earlier and I swear I nearly threw my phone in laughter. The pic's glorious!

;A; @ Trixie dying in so many posts lmfao
"Missing smidges? That sounds pretty--hey, whoa, whoa, it's cool, Terence, calm down!" Crispin jumped up as well, motioning with his hands for the fairy to sit again. Not that Crispin was really in the position to tell others to calm down, as usually he himself was the overtly excited one - but otherwise it seemed to work, as Terence flopped back down onto the pebble.

Crispin took a deep breath, then exhaled loudly, a stream of warm vapor also escaping his lips. (His breaths and body temperature were always unconditionally warm.) "Hokay, I can't imagine how tough working in the factory is. But three smidges is bad. Pretty bad. I mean, hoo, Fairy Garebear only recently gave you this super important task and you're mucking up already. I'd be pretty worried too!"

The pyro fairy began to laugh, until he realized his demeanor wasn't exactly helping the situation. "Well, I take it he doesn't have a clue where they've been going either then? No leaks, no trails?"

He brought a finger to his chin, stroking it with his lips and brows contorted. In the meantime his feet slowly lifted as well, as his wings brought him airborne again, though still in close proximity with the other two fairies. Then he seemingly began to pace while hovering, though his wings did all the work as he remained still as a statue.

"Nuts," he said, now stroking the air beneath his chin. "You have someone else you can ask for help, yeah? Orrr what about you?" He shifted his eyes to Ingrid next, his smile warm. "Got any ideas?"
EDIT: I'm really sorry for holding back, it's 2am now, just finished work and I really need to sleep (have to wake up in four hours). :( Today lasted hellishly long aughhhh, hours differ week to week for Wednesday and occasionally I have to work past midnight like this... ><;; I'll try to post during my lunch break tomorrow between classes.

EDIT EDIT: Working on something, now that I finally have a break to sit down, read, and write. :)

Jack withdrew from Amy’s space in order to wipe his face clean with a handy handkerchief. “I am surprised, dear Amaranth. Truly surprised.” He moved onto shining his spectacles, checking between wipes for smudges. “This retaliation is not at all what I’ve expected from you.”

“You fucking swine. You’re doing this to me!” Amy jerked her head in rage. “I can see through your lies, coward! These guilders – these men. I trust them. I know them! They’re not these horrible pigs you’re portraying them as!”

As Jack replaced the glasses atop his nose, he pressed his finger against Amy’s lips to silence her, though pulled back just in time to avoid getting bitten. “On the contrary, madam, I am not the host this time. I was merely invited to the party.” He raised his hand into the air – the hand withholding one of the many red gems. Every face but Amy’s followed his movement, and the ripper's brows raised in satisfaction. “I am only here to warn you of what comes next. A warning which you know very well already, I’m sure.”

Amy’s eyes narrowed. “Where are you going with this?”

“One hint, dear Amaranth: true colors.” Jack laughed heartily, before turning away and bringing a bashful hand to his mouth. “I believe I’ve said too much. I shall be taking my leave now.” He snapped his fingers. All the jewels within everyone’s possession vanished with a pop – all but the one in Jack’s hand. “Best of luck, my dear. I’m sure we will meet again.”

As Jack chucked the tainted gem skyward, he dissipated into a black vapor. All the men in the blinding white room watched the rising crimson with awe. Once it reached its peak and began to drop, each and every one scrambled to catch it. Now freed, Amy could only back away as she watched the chaos unravel.

Everything surrounding them had begun to fall apart, cracking open, crashing down, snapping. Many times a monitor or pod nearby Trixie suddenly burst, as if triggered by a mine, threatening to collapse atop her or shower her in shards of glass – but the silhouette tugged her away just in time. Running and running until… there it was.

The open-doored exit. Fresh greens and brilliant sunshine awaited them just outside the laboratory. Close, they were so close to their escape. The duo bolted, sprinting faster than they ever had before – only to be separated as Trixie toppled over. “Ahh!”

A clank! – a small, abandoned cage – resounded behind her, having been knocked aside by her feet. She stumbled forward, losing her grip on the figure’s hand, but it whirled around immediately and knelt in front of her. “Trixie! Are you okay? Come, the exit is right over… … I do not understand. Why are you laughing?”

Trixie had begun to laugh. Laugh and laugh and laugh. Tears once again streamed from her eyes. “I’m just… hahaha! I’m so happy… I’m so happy you’re back. And look, we did it all over again – just like that. Hehe! You really are a superhero.” She proffered her hand to him. “Just… one more thing though.”

The figure reached for her hand, though hesitated as she made her request. The building continued to quake. “Trixie? We don’t…”

“Promise you won’t leave this time?”

Suddenly the shadows dropped from the silhouetted figure, revealing his visage, his outfit, his entire self right before Trixie. He smiled warmly and reached for her hand. “I promise, Trixie.” They interlocked fingers. “I promise I will never leave you again.”

CRUNCH!

“NOOOOO!!”

Trixie screeched.

A giant mass in the shape of a boot fell from above, and crushed the boy kneeling before Trixie. Scrunched beneath the sheer titanium, the sound of his bones cracking and snapping echoed in her head. His wrist, his hand, his very fingers were still locked with Trixie’s own – amputated from the rest of his arm – until it dropped to the floor beneath.

Trixie screamed and screamed until her voice grew hoarse. Her knees shuddered, wet with a cold sensation, and upon looking down she was met with a vicious stream of blood leaking from beneath the crushing mass.

“No! No, please come back, please… no, no, no, please… you can’t… you can’t die… you’re not supposed to die! Superheros can’t…”

Trixie raised her hands that were to the ground, shakily eying the thickening crimson liquid that outlined them. “Please, no… please…” she wheezed, rocking back and forth. “You’re not… supposed to… hrk—Amy—Amy, where are you… please, save him… please…”

Trixie hunched forward before falling over on her side, pulling her knees in close as she lied in a fetal position. The laboratory continued to rumble and rattle, slowly collapsing into itself as Trixie remained there, cold and laden with his blood.
