Ralph felt the weight of the dragon lift off of him, and the clawed hand was no longer around his throat. He looked up to see the dragon struggling to release himself from a massive stone fist. He flew away from them, towards where the dragon-bird and Mike were fighting. The dragon-bird formed a rock and threw it at Mike, who wasn't quite down yet. He lunged at the dragon-bird, but ended up getting impaled on a stone spear that came out of the ground. This didn't seem to kill him, surprisingly. He was knocked out, though, which was good enough.

The sound of wings flapping caught Ralph's attention, and he turned to the source of it. The dragon had somehow released himself from the golem's grasp, and was now flying at him. He flew in the other direction, trying to get away. He went up above the trees, and when the dragon followed him, he shot a fireball back at him. This slowed him down, allowing Ralph to get a little further ahead, but the dragon was still gaining on him. Seeing the golem and dragon-bird down below, he flew towards them. He missed the golem's head by a few inches, and seconds later, the dragon did the same.
Didn't think so.
Do I even want to know what that guy posted?
I think we're just waiting on Noire. Asterisuku hasn't posted in a while, so I don't know if he left or not.
It shouldn't be too hard to continue without him.
This sounds like fun. I'm interested.
Matt and Josh joined the rest of the group, with Shannon following close behind them. Matt was easily able to fit through the narrow tunnel, but the bucket kept scraping against the walls. Josh could have easily fit through without the bucket, but unfortunately he needed it.
A growling sound could be heard, and Josh had the feeling that someone was watching him. He was starting to think it was just his imagination, until Hex mentioned it. "Is there something else in here? Feels like there's something else in here."
"Yes." Terra said. "Don't worry, though, Dad calls them 'guard dogs'... they already know me, and wouldn't attack anyone that I'm with,"
"I'm not liking this." Josh said. "How long is this tunnel?"
"Terra says they won't attack us. There's no need to worry." Matt said.

It didn't take long for them to reach the end of the tunnel, much to Josh's relief. Terra led them all through a trapdoor revealing a massive city in the distance. Josh thought the reef was huge, but this place was at least three times as big.
"This is incredible." Josh said. "I was honestly starting to think that all of the surface towns were just tiny villages like Allure."
As they all started to make their way toward the city, Matt slowed down a little, purposely lagging behind the rest of the group. As soon as they were out of earshot, he spoke. "I need to talk to you about that dream you had last night."
Josh sighed. "You saw that?"
"Yes, I did. You're lucky we weren't in the guild, otherwise every Psychic-type there would have seen it."
"And then everyone would know about my past."
"Exactly. That's why you need to learn to control it."
"That's not something I can do instantly, Matt."
Matt closed his eyes, thinking for a moment. "I know someone who might be able to help. I can bring you to him."
"What about the rest of our team?"
"Yeah, that's going to be a problem. We might be able to sneak away from them, but it might seem suspicious if we do it too often."
"So, what do we do?"
"I think you should tell them. It would save us the trouble of sneaking away."
Josh thought about it for a moment. "So...I should tell them now?"
"Not now, no. Just make sure they find out from you, instead of somewhere else."
Josh nodded in agreement. "Makes sense. I'll try to play it cool until then."
They caught up to the rest of the group, hoping nobody would notice that they had lagged behind.
Ralph and the gryphon glared at each other until a scream of pain broke their concentration. They both turned to see the dragon-bird, who seemed to be losing the fight. He had a large scratch across his chest, and the dragon was standing over him, laughing. Ralph shot a fireball, hitting the dragon in the back of the head. The dragon turned around, growling. The gryphon, seeing that Ralph was occupied with the dragon, lunged at the dragon, only to be hit by another fireball from Ralph.
"Nope. Not letting you do that." Ralph said.
The dragon suddenly flew up at him, catching him completely off guard. In seconds, he was pinned on the ground.
The dragon laughed. "Take care of the other guy, Mike. I got this one."
"Got it." The gryphon said, walking over to the dragon-bird.
The dragon placed a claw on Ralph's throat. He was about to die if somebody didn't do something.
I'll get one up later today.
Josh tried to calm himself down. It was only a dream. As long as he stayed away from the ocean, Zane couldn't get to him.
Anthony had seen him panic, but thankfully didn't question him about it. Hex had woken up too, and judging by how much she was sweating, Josh assumed she had a nightmare as well.
A shout came from another room. "Who the HECK is up at this hour!?"
It was Terra, who at the moment seemed pretty tired.

She headed out, taking a secret passage to some place called Scale City. Anthony followed.
"Hey, wait up!" Josh yelled after them. "Shannon and Matt aren't awake yet!"
"I'm sure they won't leave us behind." Matt had emerged from the guest bedroom, looking even more tired than Terra was. "Come on. Let's wake Shannon up."

Josh swam into the bucket as Matt was re-filling it. They both headed into the guest room, where Shannon was still asleep.
"Time to wake up." Josh said, splashing a little water on his face. "We're heading out. Come on."
"That was a little rude."
"Yeah, I guess, but it's a lot better than what Z...how I used to get woken up."
Josh had almost spilled the beans about Zane. Hopefully Shannon wouldn't question him about it
