It was completely silent for a moment, and it seemed that they were all alone in the cave. Ralph began, "Where are all the-"
Wrong rp, Noire.
"Alright, looks like we got everyone up." Eddie said. "The tunnel's back here. Follow me."
He led them to the other side of the camp. There was a large boulder, and he assumed the entrance to the tunnel was behind it.
"Hey Ray, we need your help with this." Eddie said.
Ray came out of one of the tents, and went over to them. "You're going to try again? Eddie, you barely made it out last time."
"I'm not going in. They are."
"Alright then. I should warn you, though, you'll get swarmed as soon as you walk in."
Ray rolled the boulder out of the way, just enough for them to get into the tunnel.
"Now, once you go in, I'll have to put the boulder back so the wild Pokemon can't get to us. I hope you have a light source, 'cause it'll get dark in there."
Josh assumed that Blaze would be able to light it up. "Yeah, I think we'll be okay. Thanks, Ray."
Once everyone was inside, Ray pushed the boulder over the entrance. Josh couldn't see a thing. There could be wild Pokemon all around them and they wouldn't even know. They weren't getting attacked yet, though.
"This doesn't seem to bad." Josh said. "Where are all the-"
Josh was interrupted when a Noibat flew overhead, hitting him with a Gust. He could hear several other Pokemon launching attacks at his teammates.
"Blaze, we need you to light this place up a little." Josh said. He wouldn't be able to hit any of them if he couldn't see them.

Something strange was going on with Connor. Normally, he'd just stomp a creature as small as this wolf like it was nothing, but this time was different. For the first time since Ralph had met him, he actually seemed afraid. "What's gotten into you, Connor?" Ralph asked. He had no idea why this particular creature was giving him so much trouble. She may have been stronger than all of their previous opponents, but the others didn't seem afraid at all. They were angry, if anything.
The sound of gunshots filled the air as Tony used the rest of his ammo. It seemed to stop her from attacking him, but seconds later she started healing her wounds. Tony used this as a distraction to hurl a large boulder at her. She seemed confused and disoriented now.
Ralph used this as an opportunity to send several more fireballs towards her. As long as the others managed to do enough damage, they could end this right here.

As soon as the wolf shot the water bolt at Tony, Ralph flew straight up in the air. He then flew over the wolf, shooting a fireball down at her. She seemed to be going for the others at the moment, so he took this opportunity to fly overhead once again, shooting another fireball as he did so. At this point, two foxes had started attacking the wolf, but they appeared to be ordinary, natural foxes, not one of the creatures that the humans turned into.
Ralph barely managed to avoid a water bolt flying towards him, but then the wolf shot a second one in his direction. This one hit him in the side of the head, making him swerve down into the trees. After taking a few seconds to pull several twigs and pine needles out of his feathers, he took off into the air again, and started shooting more fireballs at their attacker.

Josh will have Acid, Smokescreen, Water Gun and Confusion.
Terra seemed pretty angry at first, but eventually she managed to calm down. She told Josh to lead the way, calling him "bucket man".
"Uh..." Josh couldn't tell if she was insulting him or just joking around. He decided that it didn't matter too much. "It's not far. Just up ahead here."
Once they had gotten to the waterfall, Eddie and Pinky were waiting for them at the top. "Yeah, it looks like we'll need the ropes." Eddie said. Pinky nodded, and went back to the camp.
"That's Eddie and Pinky up there. They're going to help you get up the waterfall." Josh said. "It might take a while, though. We'll be waiting up at the top."
Matt and Josh then headed up to the camp. Pinky was headed back to the coil of rope. They were probably going to get Terra and Blaze up the same way they got Eddie up earlier.

Apparently, whatever Ralph saw, Tony had seen as well. They both went outside, trying to see what it was. Ralph couldn't see anything, but he knew that something was out here. He kept his guard up, ready to attack if something jumped out at them. Tony was calling out to whoever was out there. Hopefully they'd reveal themselves.
A large panther-like creature jumped down from one of the trees. Ralph had a fireball ready, but quickly extinguished it when the panther told them he was friendly.
"Thank god. For a moment, I thought we were about to get into another fight." Ralph said. "We're setting up a shelter in that cave back there. You can join us, if you like."
This guy seemed like he could be trusted. If he wanted to do something, he'd have done it already.
"I'm Ralph, by the way, and this is Tony. We've got a couple more people up in the cave."
