They split up into two groups, each one headed to a different location. Ralph, Val, and her foxes were to go out into the forest to search for food. Meanwhile, Tony, Connor, and Deravan were headed to the city to do some recruiting.
"Sounds like a plan." Ralph said. He hoped the city group would bring back more members. The more people they had in their group, the higher their chances of survival were. It would also mean they had more mouths to feed, so the forest group would have to bring back enough food to feed their current group, plus a few more people.
"Alright, let's head out." He said, flying up into the air. With him watching from the sky and Val watching from the ground, they were sure to find something.
Thankfully, none of them noticed Jade run into the alleyway. She let out a sigh of relief, and listened closely to see if it was safe to approach these people. At that moment, a car drove by her, and parked next to the group. Judging by their reactions, she assumed that the guy in the car had a gun as well. Great. Now there were two gun-wielders that she had to deal with.

As she listened in, she began to realize what was going on. The short guy was aiming the gun at everyone else in the group, and the others were trying to calm him down. None of them seemed to have any idea what was going on, except for one guy, who thought they had all turned into Pokemon. That didn't seem to make much sense, but then again neither did anything else. She would believe anything at this point.

The short guy seemed to only be defending himself. As far as Jade could tell, he wouldn't shoot her if she tried to approach them. Sure, he might point the gun at her, but as long as she didn't do anything stupid he wouldn't shoot. The same couldn't be said for the guy in the car, though. He hadn't said anything since he arrived, so she couldn't tell what his intentions were. It was best to just wait a little longer.
Just Kabling, I think.
Ralph was awoken by what sounded like boulders crashing onto the ground. He instantly woke up, thinking there was a cave-in, only to find that it was only Connor stumbling towards the rest of the group. "Jesus Christ, Connor." He said. "You scared the crap out of me."
He flew outside, joining the rest of the group. "Now, I don't know about you guys, but I'd like to get something to eat before we do anything else. Let's see if we can find anything in the forest first. If we really have to, we'll try the city, but I don't want to go there unless it's absolutely necessary."
Ralph still wanted to avoid the city as much as possible, at least until they were better prepared. All of the psychos had probably killed each other off by now, so that wasn't what he was worried about this time. What worried him a lot more was Michelle's group. They certainly didn't sound like an ordinary gang of thugs. Apparently, Michelle was weaker than the other admins, and since they had so trouble defeating her, they'll have a lot more dealing with the others. They were probably outnumbered as well. The forest was definitely a safer option.
As Josh expected, Terra seemed pretty angry at first. Her anger seemed to die down quickly once Anthony showed her the village, though. Josh let out a sigh of relief. "Thank Arceus that turned out as well as it did." He said.
Based on Static's description of them, the Orbs of Balance seemed important. "What happens if they're destroyed?" Josh asked. He knew that it would end badly if someone managed to destroy them. Who in their right mind would want to do such a thing?
They all began heading for the town. Thankfully, it seemed like this mission was almost over. They already had a new one, though, and Josh had a feeling that this one would take more than a few days to complete.
I'll most likely get a post up her tomorrow. sorry about the wait.
Ralph opened his eyes slowly, and looked around. Tony and Deravan were both asleep, but Connor seemed to have woken up. Val was still watching over the cage, along with her foxes. She'd been awake for a pretty long time. Ralph was surprised she hadn't gone to switch places with Deravan yet. He knew that if he was on watch, he would have probably switched with someone else already. His gaze shifted to Connor. He could have easily just stomped on Michelle and ended the fight right there, but he didn't. It obviously wasn't because he didn't want to kill her, because he'd voted to do so later on. Ralph could clearly tell that there was something about Michelle that bothered Connor, but he wasn't sure what it was. He figured he would find out eventually, though.

The sun still hadn't come up yet. Ralph didn't know exactly what time it was, but he knew he had at least a few more hours to rest. He needed as much as he could get. He had no idea what could happen tomorrow, and it would be dangerous for him to be half-asleep the whole time because he didn't get enough rest.
The rain continued to pour down, and Jade was soaked. She didn't have the patience to go inside and wait out the storm. She wanted answers now, and she didn't care how long she had to endure the rain to get them. It wasn't too long until she noticed a group up ahead. Two of them were rather short, but the other three were human-sized. They seemed to have all been transformed, just like her. Maybe they knew what was going on.

Just as she was about to call out to them, she noticed that one of the short ones was carrying a gun. She immediately went into a nearby alleyway, trying to listen to their conversation. Walking up to the group might have ended up with her getting shot, and that was a risk she didn't want to take. She just needed some time to figure out whether she was going to approach them or get as far away from them as possible. Hopefully none of them had seen her.
Sorry guys. I didn't have internet for a while, so I couldn't post.
Jade came home after a long day of hanging out downtown. Her mother already had supper ready, and unfortunately Mike was there, too. She ate as fast as possible to avoid talking to him, then went into her room. Mike only had one day off work each week, which happened to be today. That meant she would have a completely normal day tomorrow.

She had no idea how wrong she was.
"AH! What the fuck?"
Jade was woken up by a sudden outburst from Mike. Her mom let out a scream as well, making her wonder what was going on. She sat up, yawning a little, and wiped a bit of drool off of her mouth. At that point, she went from half-asleep to wide awake when she noticed something odd. She had paws. Animal paws. It wasn't just that, either. Her entire body had completely transformed. She had long fur hanging down from her arms, she was covered in black and white fur, and she had appeared to be a mustache. She scrambled to her feet, and looked in the mirror. She was some kind of weasel-like creature now. The only thing on her body that even somewhat resembled her human body was the scar. It just HAD to be the scar, didn't it? She put on her bandana to cover it up, then exited her room to see what was going on outside.

"Mike, wait!"
"No! I'm getting the fuck outta here!"
Jade walked into the room just in time to see Mike, who was still human, leaving the apartment. Her mother followed him, trying to convince him to stay. She'd turned into a creature similar to Jade, but with purple fur. Jade ran outside. If her and her mother had transformed, she wondered how many other people had done the same. Upon leaving the building, her jaw dropped. There were all kinds of creatures roaming the streets - A flying scorpion, a bird with a fedora, and even one that looked like a bunch of keys. A blue rabbit with a ball on the end of its tail started dancing, and rain began to pour down. Jade didn't know what the hell was going on. She seriously doubted anybody knew. Only one thing was for certain: shit was hitting the fan.
