[Josh]
While Josh was focusing on the two remaining Sneasel, he was hit by an Absorb. He wasn't weak to it due to his Poison typing, but it still hurt him quite a bit. He looked over to where the attack came from, and saw Anthony sitting on top of Kamina's head. Due to his confusion, he was unable to tell the difference between his enemies and his allies.

At that point, Matt's seemingly random movements had stopped.
"You alright, Matt?" Josh asked, hoping the answer wouldn't be gibberish.
"I appear to be, yes." Matt said. "That was a rather unpleasant experience."
Now that Matt's confusion had worn off, Josh focused his attention on the two remaining Sneasel. He knocked one of them out with Water Gun, leavig only a single opponent, who would probably be knocked out in a few seconds by one of his teammates.
Trey flew above the group as they headed back to Birchvale. Upon getting there, they passed by a rather suspicious-looking Kobold just outside of the town. Robert said something to him, but from this height, Trey couldn't quite make out what he was saying. He was probably just warning him about the cave, or something.

For a while, they searched the town for someone of importance. Their search eventually led them to a large building in the middle of the town. Trey flew down to the ground and landed next to the group. He then followed them inside, where they encountered a yellow Kobold who appeared to be the mayor.

Robert told him about the grey dust that appeared in the cave. The mayor then asked about the princess, who had followed them there.
"She's got some kind of enchantment on the dress." Trey said. "She can't be hurt, let alone killed. Believe me, if I could kill her, I would."
[Josh]

Thankfully, Josh and Matt were able to avoid M's attack. Unfortunately, Anthony ended up getting hit, as well. The others rushed over to protect him from getting hit by any more attacks, but since Josh was stuck in the bucket at the moment, he couldn't do much to assist them.
"Has that confusion worn off yet, Matt?" He asked.
"Cloud forgot here, I am go."
Josh sighed. "Of course it hasn't."

Josh tried to hit one of the enemies from a distance, since Matt's confusion was preventing him from getting any closer. He tried to use Confusion on one of the Koffing, but ended up using a completely different attack, instead. It was a beam of psychic energy, which seemed to be slightly more powerful. It ended up knocking out the Koffing in one hit, which wasn't surprising, considering how weak all of their opponents were.

[Dexter]

Dexter had only known these people for a few minutes, and already they were inviting him to join their team.
"Sure. I'll join." He said, as they followed the Chatot down another ladder. He jumped down, landing next to Favlev. "So, where the hell are we going, anyway?"
This seemed to be the bottom floor of the guild. The Chatot led them through one of several doors that led out of this room.

"Guildmaster, we have three new recruits who wish to form a team." The Chatot said as they entered the room. After a brief moment of silence, the guildmaster turned around to greet them.
"Hiya!" He said. "So, you want to form a team? Great! I'll just need to register your team's name."
Dexter had heard how tough the guildmasters were, and definitely didn't expect this one to be a pink puffball. He also didn't think he'd have to come up with a name. He looked over at Thassa and Favlev, hoping that one of them had thought of something by now.
Robert and R'lyeh had found several loaves of bread, as well as an alcohoic drink, which Backstabs immediately took and began drinking. It must have been pretty strong, since she was drunk after just one cup.
"I sure hope she sobers up before we get into combat again." Trey said. There was no way Backstabs would be useful in a fight when she couldn't even walk in a straight line.

By the time they got out of the cave, the grey dust had spread to the area outside the cave, turning most of the grass and dirt around it grey. Robert suggested that they go warn Birchvale, which Trey assumed was the town they visited before they came here.
"I don't think this stuff can kill on its own. We were just in a cave that was completely filled with it, and we're fine." Trey said. "I could be wrong, though, so we should still warn this town. We don't want anyone else turning into zombies."
Josh's attack seemed to hit two of the Zubat instead of just one, and also seemed to make one of them fade out of existence for a moment. On top of that, M was about to do some kind of combo attack with Kamina. He urged everyone to get out of the way, but then a bunch the Koffing started to spread poison gas everywhere, and the Zubats started using Supersonic on everyone. Thankfully, though, Josh was immune to the poison and didn't get hit by a Supersonic.

Matt, on the other hand, wasn't as lucky. He took a hit from both attacks, and was now both confused and poisoned.
"Here I hat bean. Evades corn the fell to sky dragon." He said as he began to float around uncontrollably.
Josh was trying to keep the bucket upright, but with Matt's unpredictable movements, that was pretty difficult. "Come on, Matt! Snap out of it." He said.
"Get the other need the toast we do. Tail we aim I me going." Was the only response he got, though.
They began heading out of the cave, and the princess, unfortunately, followed them. She began humming an annoying tune, and seemed to be completely oblivious to the fact that she was walking through a graveyard. Trey decided to search the houses, mostly to get away from the princess for as long as possible. He didn't find anything that would be useful to them, though. All of the food seemed to be rotten, and the weapons were heavily damaged, rendering them useless. Robert had also searched the houses, but unlike Trey, though, he seemed to found something.
"What did you find, Robert?" Trey asked.
[Josh]
It seemed like the clones were using a bright light to switch places without being seen. Once Spruce discovered this, they were overwhelmed by a massive swarm of enemies.
"Talk to me, Matt." Josh said, hoping he would have at least a vague idea of what was going on.
"I'm afraid I'm just as confused as you are." Matt said, putting up Light Screen. "I still stand by my Zorua theory, but they would have to be incredibly skilled in order to pull off an illusion like this one."

Josh then looked over at Anthony, who seemed to be focusing on one Zubat in particular. At first, he couldn't tell what made this Zubat so special, but then he got a closer look at him. All of the Zubats had bandages on their heads, but unlike the others, this one had a dent in his head, as if someone had hit him with something.
"Couldn't hurt to try." Josh said to himself, using Confusion on the Zubat. He hoped that this one was significant, and that it would have some kind of effect on the others.
There really isn't much else I can do atm. I don't have anyone to interact with.
I'm aware of that. I'm waiting for group B to leave the city.
I wonder when I'll get a chance to post for Otto.
