The story is thus:

Tre'Yan, after his loss, heads back to the Universal Fighting Championship ring. His coach has recieved a mysterious, gaseous invitation - Tre'Yan has been challenged! By whom, the coach doesn't know, but Tre'Yan seems to have some idea.

When he arrives, the stands - seemingly empty - come to life with the souls of the dead. Tre'Yan immediately knows he was correct. Dyayun has returned. Dyayun was once the most dominant and vicious champion to ever enter a ring, and his death - at the ends of Tre'Yan during their bout for the WBTO Mixed Weight Championship, the most pretigous title to grace the boxing world - came as a shock to everyone.

Now he's returned, and like Tre'Yan, he's had a long time to hone his skills.

The rematch is on. Can Tre'Yan defeat Dyayun one more time?

WFTO: World Boxing Tournament Organization.
I'll set it, you post first.

Cleaning and packing. Hahaha. I'll try and get a post to both our current bouts done tonight.
I'll take orthodox then
Also, pick. Orthodox or unorthodox? Whichever you don't pick, my guy will have.

we can use the IC here, if you want
Right, but I want him to actually focus on

In Fighting
Out Fighting
Box Punching
Counter Punching
Freedom(if that's one),

instead of everything I listed.

Dyayun will focus on

Switch Hitting
Pure Violence(Not a real one, but characterized by arms hung down at sides, knees bent; easier to sway, and unpredictable punches.)
Brawling
Hitman
pointers will help. I'll try to keep everything actually boxing, except some stuff I've mentioned here, and seen in the anime. Most of that seemed to be actual techniques, and they list if people actually used them if they are real.
hahah. I got that much(pure Violence, and switch hitting).

I know In-fighters play up close, and out boxers use the range to win. Brawling is considered the opposite of boxing, in a way.

Do you mind having a short spar with me, either now or later? You can use Tre'yan, his stuff is pretty much laid out. I wanna try some stuff out with the other.

As well, as try 'Sakki', another term from HnI. I think I can manipulate it into magic. It is initially described as using rage or bloodlust with your feints to make the opponent attack or guard against what would essentially be a feint they think is real. In HnI it was used to mimic a punch to scare the opponent, and have them guard so the user could then execute an easier punch to them.
Yeah, that sounds about right. The first bit. So, it'll be something as 'simple' as footwork then?

I don't know if you've seen Hajime no Ippo, but thats where my inspiration comes from. If you haven't, you should definitely check out some of the fights(Ippo vs Sendo 1 and 2, Takamura vs Hawk, Ippo vs basically anyone they build up). Being a fan of superpowera, this blew me out of the water as it involves no powers at all, just boxing matches.

Switch hitting is involved as well, but only by two people. Switch Hitting/Pure Violence/Hitman seem to be the 'heel' types, based off the build up though. Counter Punching is a big component as well.

Yesterday was my kid's due date.

The little scamp, however, is still holed up in his mother's womb and is perfectly content with it. -_-

Stubborn fucker.
