I would prefer if you just used a praying mantis, instead of a half and half. As it'll fit the theme better.

If you could, go through my keys, and pick the ones you don't consider physical damage.
So, IN won this one?

I've never seen insanity done well, I wouldn't do it on one of my characters as I don't think I know nearly enough, and people tend to use it as an excuse to act however they want. Someone with an actual mental illness would probably be pissed that something they have to deal with is used as an excuse to do whatever, and treated as if it makes them a deranged killer.

I feel like a lot of time anti-social personality traits like being blunt, are put as weaknesses to try and 'make up' for having a really strong character, without having an actual weakness. Fairly well definied limits on what their powers can do (not super pedantically, but what sort of opposition could defeat them in a fair fight, a rough idea of how much damage their attacks can do, etc) seems to really help this; vague, open to upwards interpretation power sections are an invitation to powerplay.

People using mental illness as a weakness, like insanity, is why I specify that they need a physical weakness.
I'm sort of used to it, especially in the Arena, where your character would be doing something with whatever mental intent, and then the opponent would say something along the lines of 'X thought that attacking from the undefended left would work...' or 'X thought this, based off that, but really Z was this and that.'
No, not all will upgrade or evolve.

Some like the elemntal ones will have the upgrade(See: Swimming Bass - Uthur; Koke-Kain - Pongo). Kusanagi, for example, has his Coil and Strike. Some won't, such as Pride of the Lion, King of Crows, Crazy Monkies, etc.
Always as fly as shit. xD

in theory, yes. I have the upgrading mechanic down. Uthur and koke-Kain, for example.

Evolving some is the issue. I think I'm on track with Coil and Strike, but those could easily just be evolutions.

To bypass it, I could just have them all be upgrades, but some would get new keys/better keys(Uthur/Koke), and some would effect their state(Coil/Strike).
The worlds are different, and yet same same.

Skally, you go on in there and help me figure out the evolving/upgrading thing.
It wasn't particularly big to be honest.
Going to be totally honest, I don't either - aside from it being an anime.
