i haz my old avatar back! Yayzz! :D

...

no shaw, you've only pissed her off ^_^
"Shani, get up!" One of her sisters called out to her, but Shani barely seemed to even respond. Her eyes drifted back and forth as she observed her surroundings in a dull, uninterested manner. It was not until she heard Liaena's voice that Shani's ear suddenly twitched.

“SHANI!! YOUR MISTRESS NEEDS YOU TO FIGHT ALONGSIDE HER RIGHT NOW, SO GET MOVING! ARE YOU A SOLDIER OR NOT!?”

"What did you just say?! ... "

Shani's eyes suddenly regained their focus and zoomed straight in at the insolent little human across the cistern! Standing up so quickly that she almost knocked her sister over, Shani glared back at Liaena and pointed her finger threateningly at the human girl. The earlier shocked Sentinel's eyes had gone from bleak to now burning like fire, apparently ignited by Liaena's audacious words!

"If you say one more word, your friends are gonna have to dig you out of one of these sewer tubes by the end of the day! So shut it!" Shani said threateningly. Being possessed by a wicked spirit had been a terrible experience, but by Elune she was not going to let it allow herself to be insulted by a mere human!

"She seems fine." Rithrynn smiled to herself as the group made their way over the cistern and back onto the crossroad, before she suddenly began to pick up speed
"We need to check on Serphia. Hurry!"

*

Serphia slammed on her back down against the cold, hard sewer floor, her fall being followed by a 'crack' of bone breaking!

Fortunately, however, it had not been one of her bones that had broken, but rather just the femur of a skeleton that she had landed on. That being said, landing on a heap of pointy bones had not been a very comfortable experience either!
Serphia quickly rolled forward and sat up, moving one arm behind her back to pull out a broken bone that had plastered itself onto her back. Her body was aching from top to toe after being hit by the dark spell, and she felt a stinging stab of pain in her lower chest where the bullet had entered. Deep, purple blood had left a clear mark on her clothes around the wound.

*BOOM*

An explosion could suddenly be heard behind her as the bone wall that had been erected at the entrance to the room was shattered to pieces, and Rithrynn, Sharon, Shani, Liaena and the rest of the sentinels swarmed the room - hacking down whatever skeletal creations that still remained.
Behind them came a last sentinel, dragging Donald who had yet to offer much resistance whatsoever against his capture.

"Cursed ape." Serphia muttered under her breath as she studied her own bullet wound, her hand a little shaken after whatever curse Sevarian had cast at her. This was not one of the Captain's proudest moments as she sat on the floor, not at all.
She had been bested by a degenerated monkey, who had gotten away with his life still intact from this insolence no less! Although Serphia was grateful for the cavalry that had just arrived, no matter how late they had been; it was no less embarrassing to be found wounded and beaten on the floor. At least she was surrounded by enough piles of bone to prove that she had not gone down easily.

"Mistress, are you alright?!" Rithrynn called out, and Serphia turned around, giving her sentinel a rather displeased look in return.

"Better than the idiots who thought they could stop me... " Serphia said as she peered around in the room. Vashi was struggling with a skull and jaw of what seemed like it belonged to a horse that had locked its teeth around her boot, and Vashi was kicking it around in an attempt to get the body-less undead off her.
“Where’s Serphia and the other elves? …Don’t tell me you split up with them, too”

"Eehhmmm.... maybe?" Rithrynn mumbled, hesitating slightly as Liaena's look grew both darker and more disappointed by every passing second.
"Orders were orders, you know... the assassins split up. I went afte,-"

"Thanks, Rithrynn. You arrived just in time."

Spinning away from Liaena like a fox attempting to escape a forest fire, Rithrynn turned to face the High Elf and beamed from ear to ear as she accepted his praise. Any second she could delay having to give the bad news to Liaena was worth it!

"No problem, Shaw!"

Slowly turning back to Liaena, Rithrynn peered at the little human for a while. She had an eerie feeling that the human was currently holding a lot of pent up frustration and resentment directed at her, and Rithrynn was not too keen on potentially throwing more fuel on the fire in the case of Liaena by confirming her cynical expectations. But she could not just sit there and smile at her all day either...

"We split up in three groups. I went after the dwarf. He died further up in the cistern. Serphia and Vashi went after the mage, and,-"

"Rithrynn, what are you doing over there?!" Suddenly sounded a new voice as two sentinels came walking out of one of the corridors and into the corridor, dragging with them the rather disheveled assassin, Donald. But as they stepped out into the crossroad, one of the sentinels suddenly became aware of Shani who was sitting against the sewer wall a few meters away from them, looking pale as a ghost.

"Shani!" One of the Sentinels suddenly exclaimed, leaving the assassin with her sister before rushing over to Shani to check her vitals. Shani appeared to be fine, minus the shock that she seemed to have experienced that left the otherwise proud sentinel rather speechless at the moment, simply staring blankly out in the sewer as her mind tried to recollect itself and piece together what had actually happened earlier with the banshee.

"What in Elune's ass happened here?!"

"Ahem, I can explain!" Rithrynn said as the Night Elf walked towards the edge of the platform to face the direction of the crossroad across the murky pond, but was suddenly interrupted by a shrilling shriek that echoed through the many corridors of the sewer, emanating from the tunnel that Serphia and Vashi had entered earlier. It immediately caught the attention of every single sentinel in the vicinity, as they looked frantically around in an attempt to locate the source of the unnatural noise.

"Uhh, I think that might be coming from the way Serphia went... " Rithrynn mumbled as she peered back at Liaena and Sharon.
" :.. and it didn't sound good!"

Meanwhile, back at Serphia and Vashi; the battle was raging for full.

Sevarian's magic had turned what would otherwise have been a relatively even matchup in Serphia's favor completely around, as the two Night Elves found the skeletal minions coming now faster than they could destroy them. The large skeletal beast was still around, though dragging itself by the floor after its legs had been crushed by the Captain earlier.

Vashi flung around; shattering a skeletal minion to splinters. But as she did so, another one charged at her from behind, ripping into her leg with its razor sharp claws and digging a stinging wound down her leg.
The Night Elven sorcerer let out a shriek of pain, before summoning a wave of arcane magic to push the skeletal beings away from her. But they just seemed to recollect themselves, before coming at her yet again.

"We can't kill them all!" She cried out to Serphia. The Captain was holding her ground for the moment, but becoming increasingly strained with the increase in foes. She had already sustained a number of smaller wounds and bruisers throughout the fight from the skeletal horde, but was still fighting at full form.

"Kill the Necromancer! Kill the Horde!" Serphia called out as if it was pure instinct. Slashing a minion in half with her sword, the Captain turned around and suddenly sprinted towards the small alcove above where Sevarian and his apprentice stood and watched.
Vashi struggled to keep up, barely dodging a ravenous fiend as she lounged forward in an attempt to keep up with her Captain.

Casting a brief spell of levitation on her Captain, Serphia suddenly jumped almost a dozen feet up into the air; assisted by the gravitational-cancelling effects of Vashi's magic. Soaring towards the small balcony, she faced her shield forward as she was about to land; her sword forward in a position ready to thrust and butcher the two men as soon as she touched the surface where they stood!

"ANAR BELENAR FARTAI!"
Eyy, i won't be your thread maid ^_^

It doesn't seem like you've had any luck finding any more players lately though...

*Inserts mandatory post about Liaena being lazy and a terrible slowpoke*
Ri is ready to receive ALL the praise for saving the day xD
Rithrynn was making her way back towards the crossroad, passing over the precariously laid boardwalks and narrow walkways that spanned the cistern. As the adrenaline of the hunt was fading from her, her senses became more focused on more trivial matters, such as the terrible stench that filled the air, enough to make her stomach turn if she took a too large breath.
She had not checked up on Smokey. The dwarf was probably dead, or dying, judging by how his crude rifle had exploded in his face and sent him into a wall. And even if he wasn’t, surely the disgusting murlocs and whatever else lay in the cistern would finish him off?
But the real reason for not checking the dwarf personally was because the Night Elf had little desire to cross the perilous waters just for the sake of one dwarf. Who even knew if the tentacle monster would return?

A dwarf wasn’t worth it.

But as she drew closer to the crossroad, Rithrynn suddenly picked up noise coming further up ahead; the sound of screaming, shouts and battle.

Rithrynn!

It was the voice of Liaena, crying out for her!

“Li? What? What has she done now?!” Rithrynn cursed to herself the incompetence of the midget. She couldn’t leave the human for five minutes without Liaena getting herself into a situation of life threatening proportions or the vile human hatching some crazy scheme!

“I need to get her a leash once we are out of this place!”

Rithrynn went into a sprint towards the source of the screams.
But when she finally arrived to the point she could see the crossroad on the other end of the cistern, she was met with a sight she had not expected.

“A ghost?!” Rithrynn paused as she stared up into the air. Liaena and Janice were facing away from her, seemingly focused on Sharon and Greymoon who stood at the edge of the cistern. Rithrynn immediately drew her bow to aim at the banshee floating in the air.
The ghost was oblivious and well within range for Rithrynn to land a safe shot.

But… would an arrow really kill a ghost? What if it went through it instead and she just ended up shooting Liaena?

“She would be soooo pissed… “
While Rithrynn was trying to think of a solution to it all, a silvery object suddenly flew through the air and crashed into the wall a couple of feet next to her. A truesilver dagger.

Throwing the dagger a perplexed look, Rithrynn moved over to pick it up. Across the cistern, she could hear Sharon verbally frag Greymoon for losing ‘their only weapon’. Rithrynn’s eyes went across the cistern towards Sharon and Greymoon, none of whom had seemed to notice her yet, and up to the banshee who was on the verge of poking Liaena’s brain out of her skull, and back to the dagger.
Could this blade really harm the banshee? Was that why Sharon called it their only weapon? Putting two and two together, the Night Elf silently placed her bow around her torso, and began to walk quietly towards the platform nearest the ghost floating around with Liaena.

When she was almost below the pair, she raised the dagger and threw it straight at the banshee. The banshee had little time to realize what was about to happen when the dagger suddenly flew straight through her back, causing her ethereal torso to explode into a silvery, ghostly mist with a shriek as the dagger passed through – and right into Liaena’s right buttock.
This caused the banshee to immediately drop the human, causing her to fall down into the filthy cistern water below with a revolting splash.

“Li, I’m here!” Rithrynn called out as she dived towards the edge of the cistern, grabbing Liaena the moment her head bobbed back up to the surface to pull the human girl up from the filthy waters and drag her halfway back onto the platform.
With Liaena lying like a drowned beaver across the floor, Rithrynn took a moment gaze at her hand with a ‘yuck’ at how filthy it was after reaching into the water for the girl, before turning back to Liaena who was covered from top to toe with the awful water and its foul contents.

“That was a close call. Are you alright? Good thing I came when I did, eh?” Rithrynn said, throwing the human a broad smile.
maybe you should try bumping your thread from time to time, shaw? xD
"Sinai, a'Dol be en.(Mistress, I think it's a trap)" Vashi whispered with a slightly nervous voice as she stood behind Serphia in the darkness.

"Velar o ben Andavari nefarh?(Aren't you the master of the obvious?)" Serphia replied with a sarcastic tone as she leaned slightly back towards Vashi. All around them was the clattering of bones and the splashing of water heard, hidden away in the shadows. Although Night Elves had a superior night sight in comparison to most other inferior humanoid species, it was still not possible even for them to peer through pitch darkness.

" ... Sane vai o ne Ithar? (Are we going to die)?" Vashi whispered, to which Serphia only snarled.

"Not before I've torn the head off that degenerated monkey!" Serphia screamed out in common for Sevarian to hear, as the Captain suddenly raised her shield.
"Purge them all!"

One of the skeletal creations that were closest to the group attempted to run at them, but Serphia caught the sound of the clattering bones and shot her shield out to bash the undead freak, causing it to shatter into a pile of bones. Vashi quickly threw a spell at Serphia's blade, causing it to ignite with blue flames that illuminated the room. Slashing, bashing and dashing around the room; Serphia went around like a wrecking ball against the necromancer's skeletal minions.

As the large skeletal monstrosity further up ahead decided to charge, Serphia charged ahead to meet it. But as it raised its arm to swing at her, the Captain suddenly stepped to the side; allowing the abomination to pass by her.

Vashi took oppertunity to summon an arcane cannonball that she fired straight into the beast's ribcage, causing it to stumble backwards. Serphia raised her sword as she stood just behind the stunned beast, to slash down at one of its small hind legs and completely shattering it in a fiery display of fire and flying bone splinters, causing the skeletal creation to lose balance and fall onto the floor.
An explosion was heard as Vashi summoned a shockwave around her, knocking many of the lesser skeletons around like toys. The wave caused Serphia to stumble, but the Night Elven captain quickly recovered her balance, and used the rotation to spin around and slam her shield down onto a skeletal minion that had been knocked over, shattering its femur and splitting it in half on the floor.

From one perspective, the fight between Serphia and Vashi against the skeletal horde was not that far off from what would have happened if you gave a naughty girl a burning chainsaw, before unleashing her against a defenseless porcelain store.

While Donald was locked out of the barred tunnel, one of the sentinels that was chasing him suddenly rounded the corner and immediately stopped when she saw the assassin.

"Surrender!" She called out as she walked forwards, pointing at him threateningly with her sword ready in her other hand
"Or I'll... "

But she was promptly interrupted, as the other Sentinel who was a little further behind just came charging around the same corner right behind her. Coming at full speed, the sentinel barely had time to realize that her fellow sister was standing still right in front of her in the narrow corridor; while she herself was coming at sprinting speed.

*Crash*

" ... I'lGAAAHH!"

The first Sentinel gasped as her sister crashed into her back, and they both came tumbling right at Donald who looked as confused as he was concerned.

*CRASH*

The unfortunate assassin found himself smashed in between the iron bars and two full sized Night Elves as they came crashing into him like a big, purple wave. The first sentinel found her head passing over the assassin, causing her helmet to bang against the metal bar with a loud metallic 'boink'!

"You idiot!" The first sentinel sneered as she pushed her sister away while grabbing Donald's arm.
"I'm sorry!" The other replied, grabbing Donald's other arm.

"You stopped!"

"Of course I did, he was right there! It was not like he was going to run through the bars!" The first sentinel argued angrily, before motioning towards the direction they had come.
"Let's take him back to the mistress! She's probably already waiting!"

Each grabbing either of Donald's arms, they began to drag the rather disheveled assassin back the way they had come towards the crossroad.
Ehhehhh, maybe immah leave your stash alone then :P
