But WHY do we have to come up with a different name every time somebody finds a new way to love somebody else(or them self)?

But these really aren't new words. The community has been using them for years, dude. And it's not as if they're all the same shit but with SLIGHT tweaking, they're pretty big distinctions.

Look Hank, you're not gonna get it no matter how I may explain it to you, so I suggest you either do some research and accept the fact that people can and are genders separate from the binary OR just ignore those people and get on with your life. You seem to be confusing sex and gender, which are two separate things. By your logic, "biological sex" determines everything about gender, right? Have you never heard of goddamn intersex people? Where do they fit on your grand, thousand-year, impenetrable wall of ONLY males and ONLY females? Did you just sort of ignore them?

I'm not saying we should take away people's individuality. Not at all. I just find it ridiculous we have to describe a person's sexuality like a science experiment.

What is even your definition of describing something like a science experiment? Using accurate words?

I personally think that "non-binary" is a ridiculous concept that doesn't exist and people who feel neither man nor woman have other, unidentified issues going on. Mother nature, in every species of mammal and many other animals besides, assigns us a gender. There is no middle ground and there never has been. That you can be assigned the wrong gender is something I'm willing to accept, but rejecting both male and female is just silly.

No middle ground. Really. Explain snails.

All these names to identify people who are "different." Can we just call them people?

Look, not to be rude, but sexuality is something that actually affects people differently and is much more easily discussed when one has an array of terms to choose from. Trying to discuss nonbinary panromantic demisexuals would be pretty damn hard to do if you had to say "You know those people? Like, the people who don't conform to the gender binary and who like other people either within or outside
of the gender binary, but they don't like them sexually unless they have formed a strong, trusting connection? Those people?"

To just say "Let's just call them people!!!" essentually erases their identity and makes it much harder to gain visibility and community. You wouldn't look at a cake, a donut, a cupcake and a cookie and start yelling about all the terms for them because "Why can't we just call them sweets all the time!"

Well that just makes you a slurry.no jk like I said probably bisexual. I kinda figured there was a sexual element, or I would have mentioned the romantic/sexual distinction.also lol this article: At least she's totally up front about it.

I love how she says that two girls together, kissing and whatnot is "more aesthetically pleasing" than two men. Jesus, lady, are you gonna stare at your daughter while she makes out with her girlfriend or something?

"Jeez, I'm sorry Kelly, my mom just likes to watch. No big deal, right?"

Like Hallucinations? I'd say that'd be weirder than nightmares. People have dreams about being with people they once loved and have lost all the time. Waking up feeling bad about it is completely normal. It doesn't have to be PTSD level freakouts about it, just show that Urzoth is pretty bothered by what happened in her past.

Nah! No hallucinations really (unless she's been going for skooma). My latest post ends with her falling asleep, so I wanted to sort of narrative-wise cash in on that situation. :P

Thanks though! You're totally right. I wanted to really accentuate her current mental state since she's been involved in so many major (traumatic) things and has so many people dependent upon her being a good fighter and a good leader (the latter being something that would definitely put a lot of stress on someone who, since childhood, has had more rivals and enemies than brothers, sisters or friends, the former being something that has always been a cause of stress due to an early life based around protecting her stronghold and family from attack).
Bleghhhhh. I want Urzoth to have a nightmare pertaining to her lost fiancee Fuzrath but that entire concept in and of itself is a cliche. Maybe just vague bad feelings and weird imagery??

Seriously, I have no clue. When I was your age it was straight, gay, and bisexual. All these others mentioned are new to me and until recently I didn't know even existed.

It's pretty nice. There are some people who dislike labels but I think it's fantastic to finally have that feeling of "Oh, god, I'm not the only one that is X Y Z".

Well, I don't like to have sex with a guy and a girl, but I have romantic feelings from them. What would I be (besides Bisexual, I know that I'm one but I don't have any sexual feelings from boys and girls?).

Somewhere on the asexual spectrum, I'd bet. Biromantic asexual/demisexual?

Its great being lesbian because everyone thinks its hot and doesnt make fun of you.

I dunno, I got a lot of odd looks in the locker room in middle school and a few people told me I was going to hell to my face, so.

Not only that, but sexualization, objectification and the assumption that women who are interested in other women are only doing it so it'd be "hot for the boys" is just as bad as being made fun of.
Might pop in here every so often.
