This would be a military specialist group consisting of a few archetypes. Each archetype would be irreplaceable and extremely valuable to be able to carry out the mission. Each specialist will have been taken from some branch of the military (going to stick with current US military unless we figure out a better system). Sometimes stealth will be needed, other times we'll need to go in guns (strategically) blazing. This will also be set in the far future, around 2070, and each specialist will have a Personal Enhancement Suit (PES) which can give minor augmentations to help further specialize our specialists. The overarching plot is still in the making, but I have enough of the beginning plot to start us off. So, the archetypes:

Scout - Recon specialist; well versed in stealth and CQC. Carrying usually no more than a small pistol and a combat knife.

Sniper - Eyes from above. Usually pairs with the Scout, but keeps eyes on all enemies possible. Only shoots when necessary.

Comms = HQ's mouth and ears. Reports directly to the higher-ups for briefing and debriefing and any time necessary during a mission. May also carry medium firearms for protection during the mission.

Techie = Technical coordinator. This specialist develops, implements, and distributes additions to weapons and armor, gadgets, etc.

Boomer - Explosives expert. Creates, sets, and (when forced to) distributes explosive devices to destroy buildings, distract enemy groups, or whatever else might be needed.

The group size will have to be small (because there's only so many archetypes for futuristic army types). So it'll be myself and 4 others. Who's interested?
@Felix7heWolf We may have lost the others.
Listening and thinking of scenarios after every sentence started to work Cecelia up. "No questions come to mind. Though it's odd that he wants it public and brutal, which is opposite per usual for me, buuuut beggars can't be choosers. I'll make it quick, bloody, and public. The hard part is gonna be figuring out what tools I'll end up needing or using." Mumbling to herself about whether to act as a party guest and have a single, hidden weapon or to sneak in looking like an assassin, decked out in gear and appear before him, give him a short message about betrayal and using several tools to kill him slowly. All the different possibilities swirled in Cecelia's mind, spacing her out as she stared into the distance.
Hearing agreement with her intuition, Cecelia gives a verbal timer for them. "Shooting first horseman down in three... Two... One... Fire. Go now. Second target in three... Two... One... Fire." Shooting an arrow at each "fire", Cecelia hits each horse, knocking it over. Throwing in the command to start flying, Cecelia figured the two horsemen would care to stick together rather than abandon the other in the confusion. Still seeing no highlight on them, she grimaced. Had they gone for the wrong people...? Hopefully not.
@LadyTale Sorry, I didn't see Clar. The character is good, but not sure on our numbers, and I'm not sure I'd like to fill up spaces with second characters when we have someone who hasn't had a first accepted.

@PaulHaynek Not too late, but I may have each person control 1 character or split the second characters into separate missions. Haven't decided yet, and I'll probably let you guys vote on that.

@Phaesaris

So, if you guys had to choose, would you rather:

A: control one character each or,

B: have two teams?
@Chanda I like the idea of introducing ourselves, maybe even starting our post by accepting an invite to a "clan interest" thing, and we are the only ones who go? I dunno. Lots of ways to start this.
After thanking the guy mentioning the girl to take on an LC member, Cecelia remembers some of the bulletins she'd read about the incident. She doubted all of them were extremely accurate, but figured that the other girl would have at least stood up to the guy. She interrupts the conversation between the girl and a guy, who matches some descriptions the bulletins describe as being involved in the LC incident, with her own desire to take down horrible people. And it'd feel like a real, true adventure. Much better than her real life.

Pointing at the previously mentioned girl, Cecelia starts in on their conversation. "Hunting bad dudes? Those guys, like the ones that tried to kill someone but got taken on by you? If so, I'd like to help. I'm kinda new, and am trying to dual-knives for super fast attacks. All I got so far for skills is one set of attack speed boosts. Lasts about fifteen seconds, but is worth it." Stopping from her flustered thoughts of why they'd really care for her playstyle, Cecelia continues back on her original point. "Anywho, if you guys need a party member, maybe a scout, I could do. Also, is there really, like, no healing at all...?" Running out of thought train, Cecelia's sentence dropped there, leaving a phantom question mark on her statement. Feeling embarrassed, she chuckled nervously and shifted her weight around as she looked from one player to the other.
"Two minutes. I'm aiming for the horses, not the people, Enarrion. I'm aiming for what I know I can hit. It'll give you two more time to swoop in on Cuddles and eliminate them." Cecelia takes aim and comtinued as she sighted. "also not sure if they're our mark. No highlight... still gonna shoot the horses down, but question before killing." With that, Cecelia put all her focus on her shot, waitong for them to dare enter her range.
@Phaesaris Nice. Looks good. You can either assume Larana was taken at the same time or you can have her come in on the second mission. Your choice. Either way, you can put her in the Char tab.
Cecelia took in her surroundings. They were atop a hill that overlooked the castle, though they could see only two sides, it wasn't but a few yards from them. The other side of the hill that faced away from the castle could view two horses galloping towards the castle, but headed for the second side they could see, meaning it had to be the assassins. In front of the castle was a huge mob of people, both defending and defying the castle. Cecelia estimated the distance the riders had to go and figured wind strength and direction. "Five minutes before I could shoot them off their horses." Cecelia mumbled her calculations' results as she started examining her equipment: first the bow, then each arrow. All the while talking to her new... coworkers in a quiet, yet steady voice. "So who are you? Not many swordswomen in Tellius, and even fewer dragon riders. Two major wars wiped most of 'em out. We have five minutes before they are in my bow's range, and at that, it'd take us a good... three or so minutes for you to get into slicing range, and would take your wyvern at least two to get to the assassins, with them running in terror from the huge lizard; no offense, Mr. Dragon. May as well strike up a conversation with you lot. Names?" Being straightforward, she asks her fellow Guardians of Balance their names.
