Recollections: The Coven [COMPLETED]

Elise found the dusty casino strangely homey. She liked the wide open space, and the stagnant air. It reminded her a little of a library, the stale smell of dust lingering all around. She found she could stand the other girls well enough, when they weren't fighting and doing whatever was happening now. Elise was trying to read a book on extra-normal theory today, but was already on the verge of switching to a lighter read. Something to take her mind off of this. Should she thumb through a volume of an encyclopedia again, or read a bit of fiction.

Elise looked up from her book just in time to see a slot machine hurdling toward the table she was sitting on. Elise however was not in danger. In fact she was already sitting on a counter across the room, in the same position she'd been sitting on the table. For fuck's sake make that thing stop. I don't come here to get shit thrown at me you know. Just don't move and make as much noise as possible, and shake your arms above your head. If it's like a lion, it should get intimidated and back up." She really hated that she had gotten used to this sort of occurrence. She also was more than sick of Babylon causing this chaos, not that she was about to say anything about it to her or Emily. Emily would scoff and tell her to deal with it, and Babylon... Ellie didn't want to really think about what could happen there. Even with her improved defenses against the paranormal, she was very intimidated by Babylon. She noticed Izumi was able to walk through the chaos and poke at the pizza that Madison had brought. "She's insane..." The young girl thought to herself. Now that she was aware that the chaos was hurting people Elise began paying attention, ready to take anyone out of danger that may need it. Like it or not, the Coven was a team, and she couldn't let her team be hurt, right?

Aggie's foot fell hard against his head. She was careful to hold back but was certain she had rendered him unconscious. She confirmed this then with an exhausted breath, fell to her butt. She shakily drank her potion. She felt the wounds stabilize. She then put the flask to Rodney's mouth and gave him the rest. He'd stay knocked out for a while, but he'd live, as long as nothing attacked him while he was down.

She felt like she only had a moment to breathe before a light flashed, and she was standing in the middle of the field again, unscathed, her potions full. It was time for her next battle. She grimaced at the realization that she could be stuck here for a while, all to entertain some strange outside force.

Aggie noticed the knife, not soon enough to dodge, but definitely soon enough to block. The pain seared in her arm as she took the knife in it. Right now, all she needed to do was win. She forcibly put a knee on his chest and stood up. She felt the extra strength leave her but now she didn't need it. She drove her foot forcibly toward his face with a fierce stomp.

Aggie didn't expect such a quick response and took a pretty deep gash in her upper abdomen. She knew her time was almost up with her strength potion. If she could just end this she could take the rest of her healing potion. She'd still be battered, but she'd live. That's what was important. Aggie, after feeling the pain fly across her stomach, pounced, tackling Rodney, and if successful throwing a flurry of punches with her right arm in his face and chest.

Aggie, having dropped her knife to cast her spell wasted no time, it was time to push back. "Celeste Surgo Luminesce!" She thrust her hand forward toward Rodney's face, as a bright orb of light formed. The orb of light floated in front of his eyes, acting as a blinder, and her hand also went through the orb, a palm strike aiming for the face.

DWMA(death weapon and mister academy)

"Oh! Hey! You're the guy from the stairs! Is your dorm as swanky as ours? It's great!" She grinned and ran up to him, pumping her fist in the air. I can't wait til classes start! Or even better til we can start taking missions! I guess I gotta find my weapon first! Although, I think I may already have one that I really like!" She beamed back at Mimi.

Aggie shook her head. She finally got her senses back just in time to see him lining up his shot. She jumped the side, but was a little to late. The bullet didn't hit her kneecap and instead hit her in the upper thigh. She gasped in pain, but she was in close range, wear she wanted to be. She held out her good hand and shouted, "Flame, sear that which opposes me!" A flame burst from her hand and roared toward Rodney at a close range.
