Yeah, I actually don't think I'll make it after all. I don't think the character I have in mind would be a good fit for this party. That said, I wish you all luck in slaying those nasty dragons!

Countenance: Height - 163 cm. / Weight - 64 kg. Probably wears eyeliner.
Facade: An arrogant nihilist who pities those who stubbornly cling onto life, Siwon seems to lack any appreciation for the beauties and splendors of the world. This stems from the fact that he quite literally worships "death", preaching that there is no point in enjoying anything in life if The Jaws would bring it all to end. Despite this, Siwon has focused his devotion into bringing death to the vast monstrosities that plague the land and threaten his people. Stoically, he charges towards the darkness, seemingly unafraid of what lies within its deepest bowels.

• Demon Pact [13 Kills]
  Demon will occasionally warn you of an incoming attack if it feels like it. Demon will occasionally attempt to distract an enemy if it feels like it.
• Vainglory
  Unleash a sudden burst of speed and close in on a preoccupied enemy, striking them from behind.
• Reject
  Leap backwards with all your might while your upper body remains stable, momentarily creating an afterimage.
• Unholy Resonance -
  "Echo into the black-fanged void, bells that herald the advent of the Jaws of Death! Unhoriiii Resunansuuuuuuuuuu!"
  Smear the blood of the target onto the center of your weapon, before performing the incantation and striking the ground. A sharp, ringing sound will reverberate through their minds, which will be annoying or painful or wholly ineffective, depending on what the demon feels like.

Equipment

• Boar Spear
  A 180cm length of wood with a sharp, pointed metal head. At the base of the spearhead are two wings meant to stop whatever is impaled by the weapon from charging down the shaft. The preferred weapon of Siwon, both due to its length as well as its defensive capabilities.
• Ritual Dagger
  A short, ornate blade- that is, an average hunting knife with the symbol of Kur-Inuus attached to its pommel- meant to be utilized in the grim rituals of death performed by the Fiend Knights. Can also be used as a weapon in case an adversary gets too close for comfort.
• Worn Chain Shirt
  Armor made of interlocking chains meant to protect the wearer's torso. Has seen better days and is most likely a hand-me-down. Siwon wears this over a suit of black leather armor for added protection.
• Black Coat
  Who didn't expect this? A black long coat made with treated leather meant for travel. It is big enough to be worn over one's armor to protect it from the elements. Emblazoned on the back is the insignia of the order of the Fiend Knights. Chique.

If I don't plan to cast spells at all, I can just omit the entire spellcasting section, right? Also, are variant humans alright to use?

@Rondo of Blood This is a good starting point. Look at what the others have got. Look at the one in the example character sheet. Heck, you can even ask me for advice. What I'm asking for is literally 'a day in the life of' sort of scenario. Think about what your character might have been doing on the day he, she or they met the twins. Were they looking for work? Or did the thought not occur to them until the moment it was offered? Was this meeting calm or violent? So on and so forth.

Oh no, I've got an idea of how to do it. I just need to take a bit of time to get into my character's head specifically if that makes any sense.

So after talking a bit with ERode, I think I've got a concept in mind for my character. I'm considering having all my stats be middling for now just so I can be average enough to be okay at anything general, but I am pretty interested in the order of the Fiend Knights after having that explained to me. As far as characterization goes, so far I'm still considering what themes I want to go for. I'm mostly just curious on what everyone else has planned, just so I don't tread on anyone else's territory.

I can definitely get everything done except for the writing sample in that timeframe! I've been stumped on what to write for it honestly, but I'll try to have something up with the rest of the sheet by then.

O hey, this looks pretty cool. I've experience with 5th Edition and I've already got a character ready, though it's only a matter of transferring the sheet into the template you have set up if you're still accepting. It's a standard Fighter, but I can work him as a Paladin if needed!

EDIT: Though I must ask... are you allowing us to roll for wealth (as described in Chapter 5 of the PHB) in lieu of the set starting equipment a class and background grants, or are you enforcing the use of such for simplifications sake?

Hi hi! I'm a twenty-something year-old writer whose been looking to improve on my style of writing. A friend of mine suggested that I tried roleplaying, and I was lead here! I'm a bit new to roleplaying, but I believe I'd be comfortable writing at a casual level for now, and I am also into a few fandoms such as Castlevania (as you can see), but hopefully I'll be able to pick it up easily after a bit!
