Started rping about 8 years ago but haven't been doing much writing in the past 3 years.

Glancing down at her heels while smoothing her dress Rin tried to act casual. When she looked up at Marcus again she brushed her hair back. "Feels a bit odd to be out of uniform. " she remarked. When he apologized she frowned. " Don't be. I came here to help you. " she said softly. Stepping forward she hugged him.
After the funeral the family invited those who attended back to their home. Rin felt somewhat awkward being among the group but took comfort in hiding amongst the crowd. Ever since arriving Marcus seemed so stressed, but after seeing how he was treated by his family Rin understood. She felt herself being protective over him. "Hey, I mixed you up a little something. " she whispered as she handed over a glass with a mixed drink. While it wasn't enough to get him drunk she hoped it would take the edge off.

Her smirk grew. "I honestly dare them to try. " she said in somewhat an arrogant way. "Don't worry, I realize there's a lot I still need to work on. Besides, I haven't even seen a real battle yet." she remarked. Lining up she started firing controlled bursts at the target.
