Well yes I would say so, the first time round we went from basic monsters to more advance monster within a few weeks but I don't think we will be seeing any basic monsters. In fact there was one who would reflect physical damage and send it right back but with double the force. They only managed to beat it using there long ranged weapons and all of them hitting the creature in the same spot. Believe me stronger monsters will appear, some will be more personal and will try to exploit your weaknesses, being in a team should help you over come that. In fact there was a point where we thought we lost the DF5 but we soon managed to get them back. They were legally dead for five minutes but somehow there brain cells did not die off, we are still research why that is."
She paused for a moment.
C.B: "Well I am afraid you are going to have to work with him, who knows he may actually save you one day, remember I said maybe. I know he I stoned but I hope to turn him around at some point, the DF5 need to be alert not baked, they need to be smart not out of their mind and so on. Also you have quite the imagination on you, but looking a your face I can see it is something you would do. Just like the stoner I hope to turn you into a team player, it won't be easy but I won't give up on you. I mean I have done it before with the last batch of the DF5. Anything else? That goes for you in the back as well."

Commander Black was soon joined by Emmaline who sat right next to her and even asked her two questions. She would answer the phone question first. As she answered she checked to see if the others were on board before flicking a few switches before getting the helicopter off the helipad. She was very experienced and so the lifting off part was done with no slip ups.
C.B: “Well first thing is it is not really a phone, it is more of a multi-purpose communicator. I just call it a phone because it is one of the functions you and I will be using during your DF5 service. The other feature which you will be using is the time saving suit up one, when the number combine is put in the suit will form around you with your weapons following. It also has a tracker if you or anyone on your team is separated. Was there something in particular you wanted to know?”
Her eyes stayed in front of the craft though she did say something to the others.
C.D: “I would take this time to get to know your team mates. They will be the ones watching your back and you will be doing the same back. So ask questions and learn a bit about each other before we get there. Maybe there name? Why they joined? Maybe something else?”
She was talking to the people in the back. Her eyes kept watch as they travelled to the east part of the city making her say.
C.B: “Types? Do you mean monster types or types of evil? If so then the answer is we have so many that it is safe to say we are never truly safe, I am sure if you are round long enough you will see a lot. What in particular is it you want to know?”

Well it is your character so do what you want.
You could use it but it is more of a ranged weapon then an up close one but you can use it if you really want to. I think an up close weapon would be needed as well but that is up to you if you want to just have the one weapon you chose.
Well if you tell me what you have in mind then maybe I can bend my idea?

Steve was the first to step up and it sounded like he was pleased with it based on what he said. Emmaline seemed to be not as impressed but she did not know too much about it so it was not a problem but she seemed to want some action when she asked about a shooting range. Lilian and Calvin seemed to like it from what Commander Black heard. She soon turned to Emmaline to answer her question but as she did the sites siren went off. That meant one thing, something was attacking the city and this meant they would have their first taste of action with the Defence Force Five. Since they were down a member she would have to fill in, since they had their suits on she had to put her one on.
She pulls out her DF5 phone and presses a through number which was clearly a code and before they knew it she changed into a suit, this one was a mix of silver and black and her helmet was in the shape of a crocodile. Her voice was now slightly different because of the helmet.
“OK DF5, to the DF5 Helipad, don’t forget your gun and weapon of choice. You can have a sword, mace, axe, bow, dagger, or morning star. The last is dangerous but very powerful. I will tell you more about your suit in battle. The helipad is just to the south of here, meet me at helipad one, our travel arrangements should be sorted.”
Soon she was gone to prep the DF5 helicopter while they picked there weapon and get there bearings before making their way to the DF5 chopper. Once they made it to the chopper they would see a jet black modified helicopter that has never been seen used outside the DF5. It was armoured to the point that being shot down was near impossible unless rigged to blow from the inside out. It had four rocket launchers, four machine guns, black bullet proof windows; it could carry eight in the back and two in the front. A weapon rack was present for weapon storage as they travel. The blades themselves span at dangerous speeds and were sharp enough to slice things into a million pieces.
Commander Black was at the front, one of them would also be at the front. Each of them would learn how to fly this but only one would be the main driver. Commander Black would not always be with them but someone would, most likely a tech or air craft expert. This was not the only thing they could play with. The DF5 had cars, trucks, tanks and other land and sea based vehicles.

Commander Black turns to Emmaline because she spoke up first. The three recruits were let’s say different but at least they were here. The first question being why she was picked, even though she was someone who did things solo. She had dealt with one of those solo type people before and let’s just say she turned them around and got them to work in the team effectively.
Commander Black: “Well the DF5 is a whole different world and going in solo will get you killed. I think, no I know you will be a team player or you will die trying. I will turn your record from one man soldier to a team player. How do I expect five people to win? Well the other five did it until that thing happened. Also you are equipped with some of the best equipment we could make, the only way to die is if you are pissing about or the enemy puts you at odds with each other making you less effective. Then there’s the other way, but I am not going to bring it up. You are not the only DF5 force out there, we have five teams in other countries and if this goes well we will be expanding. The difference is you are the main force.”
Soon the other question came up and Commander Black needed to stop ending tours here and it seemed to prompt that question. She had to think of a way of talking about it though she hated talking about it. Her mind ran through a few ways of doing it but none of them were pleasant. Since Steve asked a question she jumped to his as it was easier to talk about.
Commander Black: “Ranks are based on performance and service. We have about five ranks, one is the hardest to get and in no way means you will get it. Basically you will go up one when you had enough experience or wowed me enough to give you a promotion. So hit the gym, don’t fight with one another and stop the bad guys.”
She soon turns to Calvin and seeing he was stoned, the signs were clear as she was trained to spot these things. He asked about the statue as well making Commander Black sigh.
Commander Black: “Well as you already pointed out they are the original DF5, I had them under my service for a good five years. We had our ups, we had our downs but we were good and we were effective. In some ways you could say I felt attached to them but I know I was proud of them. During the final battle that took place in Central city the members had to deal with this tough enemy, do you remember hearing about it? Well because I don’t really want to talk about it I will just say the one with the X on is not allowed to be named or seen so we put the sack with the X on. Because of their previous record and because this team lasted so long it is here to remember them, the good times anyway. The things is are you wondering where they are now, if so we don’t have time for that now but maybe later I will say?”
Commander Black: “If there is nothing else we should see if the suits fit you, follow me.”
She leads them to the lab next door as the storage room did not have their stuff in there yet. Once inside there would be three suits along with helmets, each shaped differently based on the animal spirit sitting there in the colour they chose, they just had to try them on.
Commander Black: “Don’t worry, you only have to put them on yourself once, after that you can do that thing where it will appear on you when you activate your DF5 phone which is more than a hone but is mainly a phone. They will come with a coin with the animal spirit that represents you, never let it leave your sight as without it you just have a phone, but at the same time don’t leave it in your phone either or the battle mode will be active. The coins themselves were sitting on the table on the other side of the room and o they had to go get them as well. Now try them on.”
