By the way ERode... How does an Alchemist regular attack work? If their powers and skills lies in transmutation circles and potions, then how do they do a regular attack? (I'm not sure how effective throwing empty glass potion bottles would be...)

Here's another sample. I did my best to make him sound both Arnold and Nordic (also tried adding a little more emotion). Although, it's tough to have both. Also, should Stormvahk talk fast, or slowly like Arnold? Just tell me anything else I should change :).

Also willing to attempt other NPC voices, on the off chance I have better luck with them. The Schwarzenegger voice irritated my throat

Before Karadar could even begin explaining the Guild to his new squad, his attention was suddenly taken by a short girl with pink hair. "Aaah, Hi, I'm Er-... Spark!" She said, as if she thought about it for a moment. Karadar failed to pick up on it, though. "Yeah, I'm Spark, I've been commissioned late to work with you, just got my orders filled out and WHOOP here I am gosh is it hot in here? I'd take off my cloak but unfortunately I have like WAAAAYY amounts of cleavage and I'd cut back and forth between being too hot and too cold if I take the cloak on and off and I hear you can get sick from that, I dunno what do you think? I think it's a dumb design and like blankets I always end up with one foot hanging off the bed from being too warm and too cold simultaneously and can't find a good medium, yeah huh?" She said, rambling on.

Karadar simply kept nodding, waiting for her to finish before speaking. She was an energetic one, that was for sure. "Well, it's nice to meet you, Spark. That's a rather, strange name for a young lady, but I will not judge." He said. He didn't recall seeing her at the gathering in the courtyard, but he assumed that it was only because of the sheer amount of people. Besides, he was wondering why his squad was so small.

"I didn't see your name in the list, so you'll have to introduce yourself later. For now, just follow along with the tour." He instructed.

The first thing that they reached was a large open, circular area. Several squads and batches of newbies were still milling around. "This is the Guild's main lobby. This is the place seen most of the time by visitors, and where most announcements by the Guildmaster and other leaders are made. There are also bulletin boards around the area consisting of various reminders, memos, and job requests. Announcements that aren't important enough to be spoken out loud by the heads of the Guild will be posted here. The requests can be taken as long as you're not on an official Guild assignment. It earns you some extra money, and gives us a good image as servants of the people." He said, pointing at the different boards around the room.

He then went silent as they walked, to see if there were any questions from his new squad.

Tell me if I got this right. You want General Stormvahk to have a Middle-Eastern/Arnold Schwarzenegger accent? XD. Because if so, then I suppose I could do that. Unless of course you'd prefer doing the voice yourself. I'm fine with other NPC roles, if so :)

We'll have to get the opinions of both Rabid and Jim I think, before we'd be able to come to a compromise. Since, as you've said, we can't speak for them. As I've also said, I won't let things be taken too far. Sure, a dark reference is fine, as long as it's not so specific and detailed, but using it too many times isn't amusing anymore. Part of the creative factor of this roleplay comes from how people can make amusing things happens, without falling into Mature or Dark territory, and I was simply willing to give Rabid the chance to attempt so (If he believed that he could pull something off with his character).

Hmm... I'll admit that I overlooked that. I suppose I considered it a typo and failed to understand what it meant. For now, the thought is excusable (considering the character's personality), unless Rabid makes Kaiser act on it in IC, and that sort of action is something that I will not allow. Personal thoughts on other characters are fine (as long as it doesn't stray into blatantly obvious 18+ territory), but acting on characters in a way that isn't liked by the player in control isn't something I'll stand for.

That's why I made us as a squad, so that the players would have their characters work together instead of going against each other. If there is still a problem with this issue, please say so. I respect your decision to drop if that's what you wish, but I am still making attempts to find a compromise

In case you have not seen my suggestion before, I suggested that Kaiser's role be the one with pragmatic common-sense. This means that he is not obligated to be funny or make jokes on anything. Instead what will be funny is how other characters will act towards his more serious persona, in comparison to the eccentricities of everyone else. Don't get me wrong, I won't allow Mature 18+ Level dark humor. And I will take action if it comes to that. But I don't think attacking a player in the IC is "Keeping them in check"

Like I said, refrain from breaking the 4th wall under any circumstances. You referenced a roleplayer, which is basically breaking the 4th wall already. Besides, 'The Narrator" spoke of this story, as a story (and a non-fiction one, at that). He never spoke (or even suggested) this to be a fictional roleplay made by random people on the internet. That's why using him as your point of view doesn't justify breaking the 4th wall. And if it wasn't a joke, then what was it supposed to be then? An insult? If not a joke, then it seems like a sudden outburst more than anything.
