Come on guys, get to the second floor and start character developing/farming EXP... Don't want to lose anyone in the next boss fight, do you? *cocks head to the side* Come now, Yip is away, meaning Rusty gets to play... *pulls out a knife* Oh wait... This is for when people won't post... Speaking of not posting, I'll wait until one or two more people get to the second floor before I post in the IC again

I apologize to everyone, but I'll be away from about the middle of today (using EST as the standard as is the norm) to sometime Sunday, if you need a reminder on how long I'll be gone just check my sig. Feel free to take slight control over my character, Soul should know when to make John start laughing insanely, and what happens if he goes too far with the laughing (if you guys haven't already figured that out by now, that is)

John listened to the others speak, closing his eyes as Zayne had left. He raised an eyebrow as two new voices approached, opening his eyes and looking to the two. More people? I would have thought we would all be in this one area... Then again... There's a lot of people that die every day... I guess they could have been in a different group or something? He closed his eyes again, trying to avoid looking at any blood so he wouldn't have to worry about that weird laughing issue he'd been having. The amount of dead demons around started to cause the smell of blood to permeate the air, however. As he had his eyes closed, he began to notice the smell, and could feel his mind become slightly hazed. He held back a smile before abruptly speaking, "Can we move from here, please?" He opened his eyes, realizing his outburst was a little random and un-called for, "I mean... There's a lot of dead demons around here... How long until they start sending real soldiers from their demon army or whatever it is? There's no way they're mindless, they have some type of order... We need to move before they realize the group guarding us isn't responding anymore."

It wasn't long before Ryan and Cash found an inn. Ryan paid the money for their entire party to sleep there the night and brought Cash into the room. He placed him down and proceeded to go to the door. "Sorry Cash, I don't know when that leg will heal, or even if it will, but we need to get started for the next boss..." He opened the door, walking out towards the closest open area with monsters to kill for EXP and col. I didn't do enough that fight... Not nearly enough... Karen died... Cash lost a leg... He shook his head before he could think of anything else that he might remember from the fight. Just fight to make sure it doesn't happen again... That's what I need to do. He eventually ended up fighting the nearby monsters, returning to town whenever necessary to ensure he wouldn't farm himself to death.

If I understand correctly, the boss's eyes would be made of lava, meaning cutting it would do absolutely nothing except melt your blade... But nice try XD
