Bleach: A New Dawn

Ryan shunpo'd directly upwards, hearing the alarms. He glanced in the direction before using an Air Shift as a burst of speed towards the ground to the side. He landed, sliding slightly before looking at the group. "Alright, we'll finish this tomorrow. For now, something's going on, everyone head towards the reiatsu in the distance. He shunpo'd directly towards the crowd of reiatsu, leaving his zanpakuto in shikai state seeing as the alarm meant that something was probably wrong. The alarm should be enough for most squads to head towards the disturbance right away, so I shouldn't need to use bankai, but I need to be ready for anything... As he arrived, he saw some others fighting hollows, "Can I get an overview of what's happening, or is this just a random attack from a large number of independent hollows?"

Well, I guess since the alarms are going off, I'll skip whoever's turn it was to post in our training and we'll turn it into a real mission of helping with the hollows...

Hellsquad: Mercenary's who become heroes

Ryan frowned as he saw Zayne get thrown through the portal. He clenched his fists slightly before making his skin color as well as clothing color change to pitch black. He warped the shadows in the room to stand by him, solidifying into another him, and then surrounded himself with his own shadows to create the illusion of two of him existing. Both he, and his fake ran towards Samuel, the fake jumping to the side and creating blades out of the shadows inside itself. The real Ryan changed his shape to be thinner so that he would be able to dodge more easily before pushing off with the shadows towards the portal instead of Samuel. He aimed to go and get Zayne back. He wasn't going to have an ally being taken hostage. The fake Ryan ran towards Samuel, spinning in an attempt to cut Samuel. I can't get it to dodge or change course realistically without looking in that direction, but I can at least make whoever that is hesitate to stop me from going to get Zayne back...

Ryan began to relax as the mental assault faded. He glared at the one who suddenly started speaking the same language as him. "You expect me to believe you're suddenly on our side?" He frowned as he stared at the man. He prepared to fight before suddenly seeing him swing at the object. Powerful objects usually shouldn't just be destroyed... "What do you think you're doing? Let us seal it, don't just whack it-" The orb shattered, mist flowing into a humanoid shape and turning into a person. Crap, that doesn't seem good... He got ready to send shadows at the new arrival, but suddenly saw him attack the one who had just been guarding it. The slight confusion gave him hesitation, whether he would have avoided or blocked the attack otherwise is unlikely, but the hesitation ensured that it hit with full force. He grunted slightly as he flew back, hitting the wall. One of the perks to being able to change shape was that he could move his injuries to somewhere else, but his mind wasn't focusing, he sat there for a moment before forcing himself to his feet, not yet able to rejoin the fight.

Ryan raised an eyebrow as he looked to Clover who said something about a new group-member, obviously quite annoyed with the fact. He looked to the truck as she passed, hearing her voice pierce the rain, but not completely sure what she had said. He was about to ask what she had said when Carter asked if he had found an empty cabin. "Yeah, I've got an empty cabin, cleared it just before all of this happened, so I'll be able to go rest just as soon as I get back..." He glanced towards the truck, wondering who the new member was before nodding to Carter and Katrina as a quick farewell. "Guess I'll do that then, see you guys in the morning." I still don't like the fact that the horn went off, there has to be one or two that saw the lights we were making and heard that horn... I guess I'll just count us lucky if no one shows up to kill us... He turned, walking back to the cabin he had cleared. As he reached the door, he glanced back for a moment, hoping to see the new face. Failing to see the new face, he proceeded to enter the cabin, doing a second, quicker, check to ensure he was safe before finding a good place to rest for the night.
