Kazuya continued to watch the two have their spar and with each second that passed he was more and more glad that he had spoke up about this. Sparring a Captain or even this girl was something he wouldn't be able to do...already he felt like he had made a bad impression. The Captain then turned to Kazuya and spoke to him about a mission and the papers which caused Kazuya to bow his head a little "Y-Yes sir" Kazuya walked up to the girl, avoiding eye contact with her as he handed her a form then he went back to where he was and began to fill out the form, leaving the part about the Squad blank...it sounded as if the Captain had little faith that Kazuya would be able to make it into the Squad which did put a downer on his confidence...the little he had...but he would still try show the Captain he could do good and make a good Shinigami. Once Kazuya filled out the form he walked over to the Captain and handed it out to him, once again avoiding eye contact as he then spoke "S-So when do we...umm...s-start this m-mission? Sir?" Kazuya gave a light bow before saying this, he didn't want to show any disrespect to the Captain as it could hurt his chances of getting into the Squad...more than they had probably already been hurt

Ryan looked to him, raising an eyebrow. "As soon as you're done with those papers... Don't worry, you'll most likely make it into the squad, I just need to be sure you're willing to do a mission since you're not willing to spar." He was used to at least one or two recruits every so often being like this, so he knew that the bowing and the such was meant to show respect. He didn't care much for it, but he did know that it was also something to show worry, so he decided to try to correct it if he could.

Alison smirked at what he was saying. She knew it was true he would probably be joining the scouting legion as well, she just thought it would be best to make sure before saying where they were going. She glanced in Kevin's direction as Dante asked if he should go get him. "It looks like he's coming over on his own." She smirked again as Kevin jumped, seeming excited about something, once he got there, she gave an evil smile "I don't know, what were you two lovebirds doing over there? You seem pretty happy, did she say she likes you or something?" She laughed slightly, having found a good opportunity to switch Kevin's joke back onto himself.

U nodded, looking to Alexandria. "H-hey...! I have training too... I can help fight..." She said with a slight smile, lowering her head to hide it. She let the smile pass and looked up towards Alexandria, "You don't think I'll have to talk loudly a lot do you...? I keep thinking that when we're fighting titans... I'll have to warn people about things..." She looked to the ground. She knew it may have seemed like she was just trying to avoid warning people of things, but it was just her being unable to talk to others very well that she was worried about. At some point, she would have to shout to look out, or that there was an abhorrent, and she wasn't sure she even could.

Ryan looked at the crowd of trainees gathering, Eager, aren't they? He sighed to himself as he stood there, looking over all of them. Alright, which of you dead weights are joining the scouting legion... It's not exactly popular most of the time, so I probably won't have much of a choice in who's in my squad... Should I just shout, asking who's joining? Or should I just wait until they choose the branch or something? Ugh... This is too boring... I'm pretty sure that these kids won't even kill half as many titans as I could have in the time it takes just to see who's going to be training under me... And weighing me down... He sighed again, closing his eyes as he waited for the ceremony to begin so it could end. Please... let my trainees be prodigies or something so they don't hold me back too much...

Dante nodded as he listened to her speak, once she asked him a question he answered, "I'm not nervous, I....Actually, let's start walking while we talk. We don't want to be late," he said as he began walking towards the place the graduation ceremony would be held. Rubbing the back of hair as they walked, he began speaking again, "But like I was saying, I'm not nervous, not really excited either.....I guess because I'm forced to do this. I think if I had motivation I would be more excited.....But I guess I'd be more excited if I knew where you would go, because my motivation comes from wanting to keep you safe......Kevin too of course!" he quickly saved himself as he looked away taking a breath, he shouldn't worry about things like that.Alexandria spotted U and began walking towards her, seeing the people glance at her she glared at them causing them to walk away. She then walked up beside U and gently grabbed her hand looking down at her. Alexandria was five inches taller than her, but it was fine for her, and knew U was fine with it too....She thought....She hopped. There was a small tug to her lips which only lasted a few seconds, a few seconds longer than she ever had in public. That was the effect her friend had on her, her only friend, the first type of friend she ever had. "Have any idea where you want to go?" she asked softly, "Wherever you go, I'm going with you. And wherever you go, Levitt is supporting us." She gave U's hand a light squeeze.

Alison smiled, nodded, and followed along as Dante began walking towards the ceremony. She giggled slightly when he finished his answer, "Typical Dante... By the way, I'm going to be joining the Scouting Legion, so now we just need to find out about Kevin, then. Let's let him say where he'll be going first though, so he doesn't feel obligated to join us or something if he wants to join the Garrison, right?" She looked in the direction of the ceremony, not seeing it far off. Kevin's probably already there, maybe he should know that Dante hesitated to say he wanted to protect him She giggled slightly to herself, but keeping the reason to herself.

U hadn't seen Alexandria walking up to her, and seemed to attempt to shrink herself even more when her hand was taken. She looked in the direction to see Alexandria, and instantly began to relax. Since she was in public, she couldn't simply let her guard down, she was too shy to do that, she smiled slightly at her, her free hand being used to fulfill the half of crossing her arms that it could. She smiled slightly up at Alexandria "I... guess the scouting legion...?" She spoke quietly, barely enough to hear from right next to her.

U stood at the graduation ceremony, looking about at anyone else who had gotten there early. Her arms were crossed as she stood there, glancing around. Where's Alexandria at...? She lowered her head slightly, attempting to become almost invisible in the crowd, despite trying to find her one and only friend. She opened her mouth partially to call for her, but instantly shut it, today was not the day she would overcome the inability to talk to other people, especially not with more than one person being able to hear her. One or two people glanced at her, as they passed, and she tightened her crossed arms slightly lowering her head more as she continued searching for her friend.
