Riku watched as Jace walked out the ring, Riku was a bit confused, "the purpose was to win, wasn't it? So why did he?" .....He blinks and Smacks his face. "No time to worry about that now, i gotta focus up."

As soon as he looked up, He saw Endeavor pointing at him. "You........Aizawa's apprentice. Its your turn."

Riku knew what was next. He knew he had to steel himself, he already let his memory of the exam cause him to doubt himself and almost take a hot day and turn it into the middle of November. Then he thought about it...."Cold.....wet....i havent had a chance to fully develop that move but it should come in handy."

He walks into the scorched grass ring, and he catches his fist in his palm and bows to his teacher. Endeavor laughs "Seems he taught you some manners. Drop the formalities, and Brace your defenses boy!"

Riku watches as Endeavor flares and watches him charge with a fist of Flame. Riku watches and side-steps as he counters with a chest attack, however he can't land a solid hit as he feels the heat coming off Endeavor. "Do better then THAT, Boy!" as Endeavor turns for a low kick tripping Riku. As the attack catches Riku Off-guard, clouds start to form.

Others in the class look around and then a chill comes thru the air. Endeavor notices and says "I see, your power is tied to you focus and emotion, if disturbed it invokes a change. Interesting, Riku Staff was your name right? You have an interesting quirk, one that can honed or one that can cause wanton destruction. If you do not master control, You could become a Category 5 catastrophe and major villain."

Riku is startled, "A Villain? Id never be a villain. However, Master used to call me a troublemaker, Only cuz i used to have a bit of a problem with authority.... Wink-Wink" Riku points upward....Endeavor looks upward to see 2 clouds that start to pour down rain as his flames are reduced and he starts steaming. he laughs "Hahaha an interesting tactic, what will you do next?"

Riku takes his stance, drops low, bows his head and closes his eyes. He takes his cloth from around his neck and wraps both his hands in it. "Binding your own hands? That seems rather foolish, don't you think?" Endeavor jokes. Riku smiles " Only one without imagination would think so, Senpai." Riku concentrates, and the water that fell slowly gathers along the cloth and his arms, He opens his eyes. "Poseidon's Chains."

Water formed around him and imbued his weapon with the element of water. It stretched along his cloak, calmly as a stream and flow from one palm to the next. Endeavor smiled "I see....COME....Show me your Potential." Riku charged and as he did the water focused on his fists. Riku struck and this time the hit was solid as it doused the flame on the area he struck. Riku dodged the next swing from Endeavor and as he did he dropped down and spun towards Endeavor's blindside. As he did, Endeavor spun almost as fast, Riku ducked but fell for the feint ad was grabbed by the leg and tossed. He fell and recovered on the edge of the area.

He raised his head with a Smile, Endeavor now getting upset. "What The Hell Are you Smiling at, Boy!" Riku interjected "Sempai could you please not call me boy, after all, did you notice you flame burn lower just now?" Riku pointed and Endeavor saw his arm frozen as if it was a early January morning. "Winter's Dew" Riku said "Your flames burn brighter then Master gave credit for, I'm glad Master taught me how to think outside the box. That attack doesn't freeze you like I heard your son's quirk, however think of something left out in the alaskan night."

Riku recovers and heads to Endeavor and continues their fight focusing on the right arm of Endeavor's that has been reduced to a normal arm. He continues to dodge and attack small yet important places to reduce his Flame even more. Riku continues to push him to edge. he straightens his cloth so stiffen it with Ice and turn his cloth and fists into a Pole and as his does he whispers "Loki's Staff."

he taps both of Endeavor's shoulder and then spins counter-clockwise to hit both his stomach and his ribs. He causes Endeacvor to stumble and loose his footing, Riku uses his cloth and breaks the ice staff and wraps his cloth around Endeavor's ankle, and placing Ice around his feet. Then before he can recover, Riku spins counter-clockwise again and snatches the cloth causing endeavor to fell and spin and when he recovers, Riku points downward. Endeavor looks down and sees his left foot inside the ring and right foot outside the ring.

He Smiles, "Riku...You draw my attention one place and focused your attack elsewhere. Here i was thinking your plan was to physically push me out by dousing my flames but really you just wanted me to lose my footing so you could spin me off and win thru technicality. Interesting use of quirk, and i heard you whisper a couple names and imbue your quirk to an applicable medium. Thats usually something 3rd years learn. Eraserhead showing favoritism huh?"

Riku nervously rubs his head and responds "No....i failed one year but thanks to Master, I never gave up." Endeavor puts his hand on Riku's shoulder "You have definite potential, Lets focus on Your future and not your past. You Pass, Now take a seat. WHOSE NEXT?!?!" Riku breathes a sigh of relief and thinks "Thank god Master had me focus on my attacks and focusing my power. One step down, Can't lose focus now, Master would kill me"

*Provisional exam*

Riku stood there, frozen in fear as he saw the people he was meant to save dead in front of him. He didnt know what happened, the woman he was holding was dead in his arms, the arena destroyed, the others students dead, then he looked around and he slowly started to notice his family there as well, dead on the ground. He heard a voice say, "Its all your fault isnt it?...."

He then felt the rain, that same chilling rain from his memories, the same storm from that night....."No" he whispered, "It can't be.....Not again...i thoug" he dropped to his knees.

His mind racing "Why am i seeing this again?...." this was the scene that was burned forever in her memory. The scene he would never forget, the night....that he lost his mother.

He looks down and sees the same clothes he once wore at age 8, he saw the horrific car crash again, and the blood trail...."No.....dear god No, this cant be happening again." You could hear the car door bell ringing in the distance, the street light flashing, and you could see his mother's body broken and in a terrible shape, he closed his eyes and Cried out for her but no answer met his call.

As People arrived to see what happened and why He just stopped during the exam, Riku Let out a deep primal, and pain filled scream which sent his powers out of control, Lighting struck the ground all around him, the wind picked up to deadly speeds, and the rain poured harder.

Everyone was affected by the storm but him as fell to his knees and cried out "Mom, i'm sorry!!" the stadium was rumbling as the lightning struck everywhere and almost hitting each student. In his mind, he walked to where her body was, he didn't know, he didn't try. He was just upset and yelled at her previously, he didn't mean to make the car short-circuit and hit the crib flipping as it tumbled into the pole. He cared not for anything around him, he was reliving his worst nightmare imaginable.....again, except this time she look at him and met eyes, "Why did you do this, Riku? Why did you kill me?"

**Test day Morning**

Riku wakes up..

"Today is the day! Eraserhead set me up for this since he first started training me. All the hand-to-hand combat, and cloth training he put me thru. I'm finally ready..." Riku said but honestly he couldn't get that girl off his mind.

"I wonder if ill see her again....she was adorable. " Riku smiled as he thought of her, then he slapped his cheeks "GET YOURSELF TOGETHER MAN! You've got an exam to complete and a License to attain."

Riku grabbed his costume, along the sleeves it said his Hero name "Rein," and the cloth his Master had made for him. "This cloth is trophy that was bestowed to me after i got my ass kicked A-lot and finally learned to use it. Training with Master was rigorous." Riku said as he reminisced.

**Training memory**

Aizawa - Eraserhead: "Ok Riku so I'm going to shut off your quirk, and we are going to practice Hand-to-Hand"

Riku: "Ok Ok, I've been training Master, I wont let you catch me off-Gua-aahhhh" as Riku catches a kick to the face and hits the floor

Aizawa: "I thought i taught you to DODGE and never let your guard down. You look as me as your Master, and i cherish that, but during Training, I'm no different then any Villain on the street. Keep your head on a Swivel."

Riku: Wipes blood from his lip and smiles. "You mean like this," as his wraps the cloth around Aizawa's leg and snatches, to trip him down to one knee.

Aizawa: laughs "Hahaha, i remember i did that to you when we first met, and it looks like you're learning.......Finally, you might put up a good fight."

**Back to Current day**

As he walked in to Provisional Exam area, and He gets ready. He sees the various other participants and gets a good view of his competition. "Hmmmm looks like it could be challenging, I better keep an eye out for certain people. They look like they could make this quite interesting indeed...."

As he hears the rules to the License Exam, he places his targets on his Outfit. "So i only need to tag 3 targets, this shouldn't be too hard......I have an idea" Riku states as he rubs his chin, then smiles fiendishly. "I wont be behind the rest anymore, Master will kill me"

He hears the speaker loud and clear "Exam starts in 5....4.....3.....2....1....GO!"

People rush each other and he sees how everyone starts attacking each other, Balls start flying everywhere.

"Time to put my plan into action!" Riku thinks as he hides behind the nearest rock. He conjures a decent size raincloud that covers the arena. He whispers "Mid-day Rein!!" the cloud thunders and then starts pouring down. The contestants look around and continuing throwing balls at each other, disregarding their surroundings thinking it as part of the exam.

Riku smiles "Good, I'm glad Master taught me how to blend my quirk activation into normal surroundings.."

As the water starts to gather and the contestants are soaked, Riku Jumps up and yells "Lightning Palm!" as he lands and people look toward him...He sends out lightning thru the water thats gathered around their feet and watches as it incapacitates most of the contestants around him and they fall out around him.

"Perfect....everything went as planned." as he casually walks by and tags more then enough contestants to move on.

"That was easy enough. Anybody near that withstood or saw that, could pick up the slack" Riku says as he walks to the Lobby. "I wonder if Yin had this easy of a time during the written exam," Riku smacks himself again "Why are you thinking about her, you just met her the other day. I mean... yes, her afro was adorable and her outfit was appealing, and her smile was....Damn it, Focus Rein Focus!"

As Riku walked into the lobby of those who passed the first part of the exam, he said "I wonder whats next, I didnt even have to use my cloth nor direct hand-to-hand combat..."

As he relaxes, He sees the screen with the remaining contestant still going at it. He wonders "Where is my rival?"

As Riku continued to walking around, he noticed something, or rather Someone.......It was Cloud. "This Guy..." Riku rolled his eyes. Cloud was someone he previously met, and didn't exactly make the best of friends with. "I wonder what kind of craziness he has tied together for the Exam."

Riku met him during the time when he was a trouble maker himself his first year. Though they didnt have much interaction, he has seen his quirk in action, he remembered he could alter electronics and other computers by touch. "Lets hope he doesn't cause too much trouble today."

As Riku continued to his seat, he started seeing more students who were just Happy become distraught, "What is going on? They were just excited a minute ago. I get being nervous but what the hell is going on?" he looked around and thought, "Its gotta just be nerves, hell my first time i was scared shitless."

He found a nice seat, not too far from the front but just far enough, he enjoyed his solitude. He could see various students across the screens. However, something didn't quite feel right. He felt things were alot more tense then usual.

"Somethings up, Idk what but somethings off...." Riku said as he looked around during the exam, the participants who were lingering seemed to be antsy. Next thing he knew, the Cameras feed was cut. Knuck if you Buck starts playing over the loudspeakers. "Ok. this definitely isn't part of the exam. Damn, and i just started to relax. What the hell is going on?"

Riku jumps from his seat and sees bubbles floating, and as one hits someone, he sees them why into a Rage and attack the person next to them. "Yeeeaaaahhh... like thats not creepy. Someone is doing something. I need to find out whats going on and find out now!"

Riku moves in a way to avoid the bubbles and using his cloth to restrain some spectators. "I Gotta call Master! Someone is attacking the exam." He looks around sees a bubble growing... "What the hell is that growing on the field?"

A collab entry between Endurance and Myself

Riku fell back, surprised. “Owwwww jeez that hur…” He trailed off as he saw who was Before him. It was a young girl with trendy glasses, and nice eyes. She seemed confused, yet down. Her afro was nostalgic but yet her fashion was a modern cut from a magazine. He watched as she got back on her feet. “Hey, are you okay?” He asked. “Sorry, i didn’t see you there,” She said as she averted her gaze unconfidently. He could feel her misery, he saw her looking as if she didn’t want to be there. “Hey, are you sure you are ok?”

Yin mumbled, “I’m not… I’m not sure. I don’t know if i belong here.” She let out a short gasp because up until this point she had never said the words out loud. She felt lost, in anxiousness, and sadness. The world seemed bleak and dreary at this moment. She put her hands to her face to keep from crying.

Riku stood up, and dusted himself off and asked “Whats your name?”

“Takeshi...Takeshi, Yin.”

“Nice to meet you Yin, Im Riku, Second Year here at U.A. (although i’ve been attending for 3)” He muttered silently and angry with himself. He held out his hand.

Hesitantly, Yin shook Riku’s hand. “Three years? How come…”she trailed off.

Riku smacks himself, “You heard me huh? Well That’s a interesting story, I’ve…..been a bit of a trouble-maker my first year and i got suspended for almost a year. I, uhhhh, kinda use to prank everyone including the students, teachers, Administration, and even the principal. I also caused a lot of damage. My Master….he made me retake the exam for readmittance.” He laughs while holding the back of his head.

“Wow, and they still let you come back? Interesting…”This sounded rude but, it was far from Yins intentions.

“I don’t even think i could pass this the first time, let alone a second...umm...I should go.”, Yin turned to leave but Riku grabbed her arm.

“No, wait!” Riku said as he caught her mid-step. “I can tell…..You wanted this, i can’t speak directly for you, but i remember when i first took the exam. I was just like you, A ball full of emotions and i let the depression hit me,“ Riku exclaimed.

“Here is a bit of honesty, When my emotions run rampant, i tend to lose control of my quirk. The first time i took the exam, i got surrounded and pummeled by a couple of the bots to the point where i just let loose and next thing i knew i not only short circuited a couple, but they were flooded as well.” He said embarrassed. “I never told my peers but the teachers knew and berated me for it afterwards.”

He motioned for them to walk. As they walked, “Yin, I get it. You think you aren’t ready. You’re thinking ‘how can I do this?’ But If UA didnt think you could pass the exam, why would they invite you? You can do this, Believe it!!” He shouted and Fist pumped in the air. He then looked around, and grabbed his mouth, “Sorry, My anime addiction always tends to leads to real-life references and I just quoted Naruto” Riku laughed and tried to form jutsu symbols like he seen in the show and manga, but he was nowhere near as steady handed.

Yin softly chuckled at his terrible attempt, and scoffed “You watch Naruto?, i’m more of a Yuyu Hakusho fan myself.” As she pointed out her finger and said “Spirit Gun!” Riku fell over as if hit by it and said “Quit Playing, Yurameshe!” as they laughed again.

“But really, take a breath….Inhale deeply, exhale calmly….My master always used to say ‘Controlling your emotions is what’s required of a Pro. Losing yourself is death in the field. Be still like water and as intense as fire. Without focus and determination, you won’t be able to accomplish anything….Im nowhere near as wise as he is but I’ll say this…..Don’t Let Your dream go, Tadpole. Swim and Become the big fish in the Sea, or Pond, or whatever……..Just know I’ll be watching from the Stands. When you pass, Not if, WHEN. Come find me and i’ll show you around, But Don’t give up before the Fight has even begun.” He waved as he turned to hit the stands.

Yin watched him walk away, she understood what he was saying. Although he was a character, his conversation was reassuring to her.

She felt relief start to wash over her, although her stomach at this point was now more like an ebbing tide.... She remembered her goal. She remembered why she came. She was going to be a Hero. And she wasn’t going to let her emotions get the best of her.

Riku Sits at his computer, scrolling thru Youtube watching random videos, watching old videos of previous heroes, Watching his idol Eraserhead.

He watched as the Pro hero would weave through Bad Guys, and Villians galore. His martial arts skills and binding cloth were two of the reasons why he loved and appreciated Hand to Hand combat so much. Eraserhead was a Pro whose quirk cancelled others and was the Main reason why Riku enjoyed UA so much. Although technically he was a second year, he has attended for 3 years.

His first year, he was a Troubled teen, He would light trash cans on fire with his quirk, fill teachers classes and vehicles completely with water, short circuit equipment only because Authority never set well with him. he would torment his classmates with high winds and hail whenever he so chose just because he felt like it. He was suspended consistently. Although he passed the entrance exam smoothly, everything that followed he didnt care for. He was removed from his courses his first semester simply because he didnt want to participate. It wasnt until one day as he was heading home, when he ran into Eraserhead.

He didnt even recognize him at first, he just saw an older gentlemen, in all black with his hair tied up feeding pigeons and decided to try and scare him. As he focused on sending a rain cloud toward him, he heard him say "Stop this foolish, and childish playing before i detain you and send you to the Police. Quirk utilization without a provisional license is illegal for students." Riku's jaw dropped, he was behind a tree, how could he know where it was coming from. As he peeked from behind the tree, he met his gaze and saw his eyes turn Blood red and his quirk was instantly dispelled. He found himself powerless for the first time in his life.

Riku spoke and said "Ok, Ok *walking with his hands up* You got me, how did you figure out it was me?" Eraserhead sighed, "You arent as quiet as you had hoped, and when you use your ability, i heard you breathe from all the way over there. Plus i watched the cloud form above you and come towards me. But i wonder.......did you see my binding cloth by your foot?" Riku looked down surprised, as as he did, he found himself tripped and brought closer and bound by Eraserhead. "That is how one stealthily attacks ....did you even see me move a muscle?"

Riku hasn't been the excited since he learned he could called upon lightning on his fingertips as a child. "How did....How did you do that?" Riku Asked...Eraserhead looked at him, and shook his head. "1st, My Name is Aizawa. I Used to teach at UA, and I was a Pro Hero for more then 20 Years. I watched the rise and fall of All Might, the Previous Symbol of Peace as well as the fall of some of the worlds greatest threats. And you....your just a Punk who thinks he's hot shit because of his ability, like the thousands of others ove helped put away." Riku was floored, he never knew a teacher to speak or act like this. "Aizawa-Sensei.....How.....When......Could you train me?" Aizawa looked at him, smiled sinisterly and said "Show me what you can do..........and the rest is history.

Scene returns to Riku's room, as He watches "Eraserhead's Top Fights" conclude, Riku Laughs "Damn it Old Man, I remember you teaching me that move. I still have the scars. " He remembers the training the he went through and he smiles..."You were a Better father figure then my own and while the world idolized All Might. You were mine." Then it hits him, "A new year, and a new Group of incoming students. Well I guess I better start training soon. Aizawa-sensei would never let me live it down if i let these tadpoles pull ahead of Me. Guess ill grab a ticket to the Entrance Exam and see what this year's talent is like." Riku balances a Pencil on his nose, throws it up, and grabs it with his own binding cloth and tosses the pencil into the dart board, which gives off a small electric discharge.....

as he snuggles up cozily into his own personal sleeping bag, he closes his laptop and rolls up into a cocoon, as his Master has done every time.

Quirk Ability: Weather Manipulation - Can manipulate the weather from a grand scale (City) down to scale of a pebble. His Emotions are tied to his Powers, emotional stability is his center and allows utilization from affecting terrain to allowing him to Imbue the properties to weapons or self. Can burn as Hot as the Summer Day in the Desert, to flooding the like a Tsunami

Brief Bio: (Any important history/personality traits) as a Child, Riku always found solitude. As he was outside one, he noticed a kitten that had been ran over, as the sadness took him over the Rain started to fall and Thunder Cracked. He soon found himself surrounded by water but he wasn’t drowning. It didn’t affect him at all, it was hen he know what he could do and he relaxed and saw the clouds part as the Sun returned.
