I'm sorry for anyone who was waiting for me. Some real life stuff happened, but for now things seem calm. I'll try to post in my RP's ASAP.

So I'm kind of hoping you guys are accepting. I think someone mentioned a lack of dwarves so I'm here to try to fix that. I would have been a Dwarven Mage if that was possible, but instead you'll get a Dwarven Rogue. Yippe.

Solroka actually smirked as Roxy blew up at the orc. It was kind of funny in a sad way. Just Solroka's way of dealing with their crappy lives. The orc asked Solroka more about the cafe job and she handed him a slip of paper with a phone number and address. "Sure thing. Well I got approached by the manager who looked like some weirdo in a gas mask. Seems to be rather silly what with his get up and how hyper he is. He already has one chef and a few waitresses, but he's worried that some of the local toughs are going to bother his customers and staff. But I guess you aren't interested in being the club's tough guy, huh? I'm pretty sure if you can impress the chef he might be willing to let you work in his kitchen. I met the guy. He's an ass, and also gay. Like seriously, he's homo. Damn good chef though." Salroka got up and was about to leave before stopping and looking at the orc one more time. "Maybe it's none of my business, but you should worry about yourself before you start playing white knight. You're not exactly hero material, if you know what I'm saying." Salroka left the apartment and headed off into the night.
"Well, I can't say I know much about your skills, Roxy. Well, aside from your night job, and I imagine that it's not exactly something you flaunt." Solroka said as she tried to think of another job she was called up for. She only had one, though she didn't know if it was any better. "Well, there is some job openings for some club or cafe or whatever. They need bartenders, waitresses, a few bouncers, that sort of thing. It's a job too, not a one off thing, though it doesn't pay in as large of a sum. I think $17 an hour? I mean, good for an entry level position I guess. Wouldn't make a career off of it." Salroka played around with her porridge and looked at the two. She had thought they would be more interested in a job like she mentioned, but alas, she was mistaken.
Noelle let out a light sigh as Sharee spoke about her plan. It certainly did seem risky, but on the bright side, should the plan fail early at least they wouldn't loose anyone aside from this runaway slave and maybe a crate of skooma. Now where they were suppose to get a crate of skooma was Noelle's question. "If... The runaway doesn't get killed, where are we suppose to get a crate of skooma? I suppose we could always steal one from a den, use that to bait the slavers and take the ship for ourselves. I'm sure that if we send some people out to get more information, we might even be able to find word of a bandit camp outside of the city. Surely they would have a nice supply of skooma for us to take. Alternatively, if we could get our hands on moon sugar, I could try to refine it into skooma instead. Moon Sugar isn't illegal here and we'd just need to find a place that produces it, which should be easier than finding Skooma." Noelle told Sharee of her thoughts before suggesting her plan. "I think you idea is good, captain, we just need the skooma now. We could either try to take some from the low lives near the city or make some ourselves. Once we have enough we can hand it off to the runaway and he his part of the mission. And after we liberate the slave ship of it's former crew we could... Take on the Miriam?" Noelle was still unsure if Sharee had any intentions of going after the Miriam, or if the slaves were the new objective now.
"Twist, turn, coil, and release!" Meirin burst forward with a large gust of wind. The back blast was strong enough to knock over a few wooden training dummies. More impressively, despite how much power was put into it, Meirin was able to swiftly maneuver around the obstacles she set up in front of herself. A series of barrels, boxes, and other things to get in her way a she spend past them using her boost of magic. She was moving much faster than her body normally can, and if anyone else tried to go at her speed they'd either fall unconscious at the sheer force or even get their skinned ripped off. It didn't happen to Meirin however because she had been taking these past two months training her Weaving Magic. She actually had put a lot more time into her studies now, and even took up some Alchemy to learn how to make medicines and healing salves, if people get hurt again.

The secret to Meirin's speed and durability was two gestures that she learned. One was merely a more powerful form of her wind blast weaving technique that was strong enough to propel herself, and another was a different variant of a Vitamancy weaving technique. While Meirin already knew one that could rejuvenate the energy in her body, this new one strengthen her skin. What it did was harden her skin and made it more tense. This served a few functions; first and most obviously it made her body a little bit harder to harm. Second was that, due to her muscles tensing together, it also closed any wounds on her body and stops bleeding for the duration of the spell. However due to how tight her muscles contracted, moving was difficult and took a considerable amount of effort. Effort that Meirin was putting into overcoming the initial weakness of the technique.

The bandages and cuts on her body showed that her training did not start off perfectly, but over the two months she had largely gotten rid of her new technique's stiffness and could not utilize it's defensive ability without losing her mobility. A little help with her improved wind blast spell also contributed to creating a new technique that Meirin was now practicing. It was simply a charge, using her wind blast to give her a large initial burst of speed. She than use smaller and quick hand gestures to shoot off small burst of wind to steer herself, though she largely just used her own body to dodge and navigate around most obstacles. She used the wind blast to help her with more deft-defying stunts, like running up a wall or falling off a wall. She wasn't just running however; she had set up specific targets that she needed to hit during each run, and missing one was considered a fail. So far she had a rather high accuracy; no missed targets and she always made sure to put as much power as she could to behind each hit. That meant that most of the targets, whether they were wooden signs or metal plates, had fist-shaped holes in them if not shattered in half.

Now Meirin sat on a bench wrapping up her hands. Turns out hitting wooden signs and metal plates can damage your fists, though there was nothing broken, just a bit bloody and bruised. "I think that's enough for now." Meirin got up and collected her things before leaving the gymnasium. "Now than, where did Ssarak go?"
"Well, I got it from a reliable source this little task that needs doing. There some sort of bigwig party going on tomorrow with all the political leaders in the city coming together for some grand ball or whatever. Point is that my client wants some... Things to happen. First, an assassination. But we can't just go and stick a knife into his back. The client wants the target to die from what looks like some sort of accident. How that accident happens, we have to figure out. If that's too much for you, there's a slightly more clean job. Another client believes that one or more of those political leaders have their thumbs in some illegal trading. Weapons, slaves, drugs, that sort of thing. We need to find evidence of this. And lastly, something less under the table. One of the up-and-rising political leaders need some guards and escorts. Being fairly new to the scene, he doesn't have the money to hire those top-dollar bodyguards. But he'll settle for people like us if we show up before the party, get dressed, and make sure that nothing happens to him. And given that he's the target for the assassination I told you about earlier, something is going to happen." Salroka finished her meal quickly before whipping her mouth and burping into her napkin. "Thanks for the food. Now, all these jobs are paying a hell of a lot of money. The assassination job alone will get us each 40k if we pull it off right. Stealing the documents will net us about 10k each, and working as bodyguards will only give us 10k to divide among ourselves. I figured you all might be interested in this. So...?"
"Well, don't mind if I do." Salroka took a seat where the orc had made for her and was already eating. Truth be told it has been a long time since she had a good, home cooked meal. "By the way, I don't think I've ever introduced myself. I'm Salroka, dwarf, and freelancer. I don't suppose you two are busy tomorrow?"
"Something smells nice." Solroka stood at the door of the room where Roxy and Donny was. She was looking for Roxy but found a delicious scent instead, and it still lead to Roxy. "Oh, sorry, am I interrupting your date?"
Salroka walked out of the bar Roxy told her about with a wallet full of cash. She had tried her hands at the poker table and managed to clear out the men there; mostly by making them play a fair game. Lots of cheaters at the table, but with a bit of magic she was able to level the playing field and remove their advantages. After that it was just a matter of figuring when to play safe and when to bluff. She had won $1000 before the players started giving her mean looks. Wondering through the street Salroka's mind went back to Roxy. She wondered how the girl would act if Salroka tried to take her out for an adventure. Or a job really; there was some necromancer doing some funky rituals over in the warehouse district. Someone wanted to stop that person, and Salroka wanted to get the bounty on it; $4000 dead or alive. A bit of bounty hunting was promising, but Salroka didn't want to go at it alone. So she began to look around the same area the dwarf girl found Roxy last time.
"No, the Miriam only arrived shortly before us. The captain and most of his crew left shortly after, likely to obtain their goods. They use a new ship to smuggling their skooma out for each trip, so I would think they haven't begun to load their cargo yet. Do you...?" Noelle didn't finish her sentence but she wanted to ask Sharee if she was going to have them try to intercept the cargo before it got to sea. The only benefit Noelle could see form that is that they would not have to pit their ship against the Miriam. And that's about it; they'd still need to find a way to subtly steal that skooma if they simply weren't going to kill the crew and take it from themselves. But that was a lot of bodies to hide. And if there was any survivors, some is going to want to know what happened to the crew of the Miriam. No, Noelle wasn't going to make any assumptions. Instead she tried to think of something else that Sharee may want to know about the ship. Than a thought occurred to her. "Captain, perhaps instead of trying to take the skooma from the Miriam, we find where they obtain their skooma? I don't mean simply a den either; someone has to be refining and producing skooma here in Khenarthi's Roost for the smugglers to take. What if... What if you and I go and convince the producer into letting us in on their business?"
