I'm sorry for anyone who was waiting for me. Some real life stuff happened, but for now things seem calm. I'll try to post in my RP's ASAP.

This isn't going to be like the House of the Scorpion or Dragon Age is it? You know that didn't go well at the College of Preicana, and I doubt it'll fly here either.
Meirin watched the scene of Uicle getting stabbed with daggers. Somehow though, there was no blood, not even a yelp of pain from Uicle. He than explained that he was just a spirit in the armor. This did nothing to make any more sense for Mei. Leith seemed to get a kick out of it though. He laughed for a while, in the mean time Mei quietly slipped away. As interesting the tour was getting, she felt that she would like to scope the place out on her own. Many students already seemed to have done so themselves, so she figured it would be no problem.

After passing the courtyard, Meirin found herself in one of the larger buildings. Apparently this was the student lodgings, and Meirin was free to find a room for herself. She was glad, because she had been carrying all her gear since she came in. All her weapons and equipment weighed at least around a hundred pounds, and her shoulder was quite sore from holding them the entire time. A place to set them down would be nice. Of course, there was one problem: She had no idea where to go. Apparently not all the rooms were for students, so when she poked her head inside either she's obviously see that she wasn't suppose to be there, or someone would be there to spell it out to her. She went through at least twenty doors before she finally found what seemed to be a room.

The room seemed empty. Meirin quietly opened the door and took a careful observation. It wasn't very large, but it fit two beds and their respective drawers. She studied the walls and saw the two buttons that she didn't really know what did. She would investigate later, for now she needed to put her things away. Some of the weapons were too large into the drawers, but she put away what she could. The only weapon she would have to find another place for was her polearm; everything else she was able to tuck away. Sitting on her bed, she examined the blade of her weapon. She could see a hazy image of herself in it's reflection. She blinked, and than saw herself covered in blood.

Meirin threw her weapon against the wall and jumped to her feet. She wasn't sure if she was dreaming or not, but a quick check on her face proved that she wasn't bleeding. Picking up her polearm, she saw that her reflection was normal. "Haaah... Get a grip Mei. It's the past."
Mei watched as Leith did his trick with the water droplet. "So big..." Mei was entranced at his display, as small as it was, and blinked when the water suddenly dispersed. Mei clapped a little at the show. "My my, that is interesting indeed. As for me, well.... I don't really know..." Mei rubbed the back of her head as though doing so would somehow give her an idea of what she should say. She had none. "I mean... I think I have mage blood, but I never used it before. I don't really know what I can do with it. I was sort of hoping that the college would help me figure that out." But Meirin couldn't hide her smile when Leith made a joke about her sleeping habits. It's not a proud thing about her, but she would humor the man for now. "I've been known to fall asleep in the oddest of places and positions. Back at my home, they found me asleep while I was hanging onto a tree branch with just my hands. Sleeping while standing isn't difficult for me. Wake me up on the other hand..." Mei trailed off that sentence with a bit of laughter.

"I think we should follow one of the teachers, no? I'm sure we can still talk while taking the tour." Being the aggressor this time, Mei grabbed Leith's hand and began to chase after one of the teachers. She soon found herself in a group of students outside a forge. This brought back memories of the one back home, though theirs was much smaller and more in the open. She heard some clamoring ahead of her, but there was so many students in the way that she couldn't see anything. "Did something happen? Are you okay?"
I don't know why that took me so long to make. Anyways, I'm going back to bed.
Meirin was having the hardest time staying awake. Short of doing a small jig, all this waiting and talking was not only a bore, but making her sleepy. As she rubbed her eyes to stay awake, she noticed a shadow on the roof. She didn't really pay much attention at first, but than it swooped down. It was some sort of gigantic beast, growing larger and larger by the moment. "Is... Is anyone else seeing this?!" Merin's eyes grew wide as the creature grew so large that the tower could barely hold onto it. It was no surprise that the creature soon crushed the tower underneath it's weight, so suddenly and violently that it caused a sizable explosion. Meirin was knocked to the ground and buried underneath rubble. She blacked out as soon as she hit the ground.

By the time she opened her eyes, the dust had settled, but the scene was horrific. People dead and dying all around her. Buried underneath rocks, or tore apart and spread about like garbage. Some were trying in vain to help the injured, but dark monsters emerged form the shadows, tearing them apart before retreating back into the darkness and leaving behind the mess they made. Meirin looked for her bag and when she found it, she took out a pair of swords. She didn't know what was attacking them, but she wasn't about to go down. She heard the sound of blades clashing as she saw Khan, the Archmage, fighting off a group of the dark monsters. Meirin ran over to help, stabbing her blade into the back of one beast before proceeding to do the same to another. But it had no affect; the monster would cry in pain, but death did not come to them. Even when the draconian would hew one in half, it simply made a blood curdling cry before reattaching itself and continuing it's assault. It got to the point where even the Archmage was getting overwhelmed, and was soon swallowed up in a sea of darkness. "Archmage!" Meirin cut her way through the dark monsters, but when she reached the Archmage who she found was her own body, missing much of her own flesh and already in the process of rotting to death. "What!?" As Meirin tried to comprehend what was happening, she woke up.

The red haired girl opened her eyes when someone came to speak to her. For the longest moment she spaced out before her body trembled and she regained her composure. She had fallen asleep for just a short moment and had a surreal dream. Or was it just a nightmare? Not her worse, but it still was uncomfortable. But once she took some time to compose herself, Meirin shook off the nightmare and resumed her sunny-if-slightly-sleepy disposition. She didn't catch anything the person said aside from his name, and Meirin pretended that she listened to him the entire time. "My name is Meirin Kurenai. But you may call me Mei. I... I guess we're students here now, huh?" Now that she had something active to focus on, Mei's mind tried to work out something to converse about. She than asked the first thing that came to mind. "So, what sort of magic can you do?"
That'll be good. Last time I RP'd some with some of these people we reached ten IC pages in under six hours. It slowed down to a page a day after that, before shortly dying and PC lost.
Meirin arrived to the college with nothing much but the clothes on her pack and a bag of her equipment. But looking at some of the other students, it seemed like they also did the same. She wondered if she actually ended up with a mercenary band than a mage school. But soon enough the gates opened and everyone filed in. Once inside Meirin noted that there were a lot of strange creatures around. She's seen elves and dwarves before, but she's never seen anyone like the Archmage, and she noted a few other odd characters as well, such as a large rock creature and something swooping downf rom the skies. She had though the creature was another humanoid dragon, and she was right, but not in the way that Meirin excepted. The girl who flew in was humanoid and partly draconic, but unlike the Archmage who looked like a bipedal dragon, she actually looked human, and had some traits of dragons. Meirin wasn't sure what to classify her as. Soon enough her attention was redirected to the trio of girls who began to make their questions. The first one, from a human girl, asked about finding someone in the college. Sensible enough. The second question came from the dragon girl, who wanted to know if they would be protected in the college. Meirin was tempted to answer the question herself, but she knew better than to speak out. It was simply that in her mind, no where is safe. She knew that all too well.

Meirin soon began to nod off, and only managed to stay awake by moving, like shuffling her feet or clenching her hand tightly. She found it easier for her to stay away if she tried to pay attention to things go on around her. She noted that a small elf had done something to make those around her laugh at her plight, but Meirin was not close enough to determine what she did. Another elf came to the smaller one's aid. While the act was honorable enough, Meirin caught words of what the elf said, baring her teeth early on. This made Meirin excited; she loved a good fight. She was confident in her skills in battle, and even in defeat it would have to be hard fought. But Meirin didn't come here to fight, at least that not the main reason. Either way, there was quite a colorful cast here. Meirin was certain that her time here was going to be interesting.
Aya wanted nothing more than to get all her things and leave. All she had was her cloth tarp of folding knives, and even than it began to rip and tear since it was met to be used as a place mat, not a sack. She had to hold onto her sack with both hands, which didn't do her any favors when one of those monsters were lunging at her. She was able to duck under the first one, but when a second one came by, Aya thought she was a goner had one of the locals not run in front of her. He took the full brunt of the attack and was dead before he hit the ground. And while he did inadvertently save Aya, his body fell upon her sack of Folding Knives. Unable to remove the sack before the monster would recover and make another attack, Aya simply ran empty handed.

She still had her hammer and a dagger so Aya was totally defenseless, but this wasn't a brawl. This was some sort of raid, and she wanted to get out ASAP. Problem was, she had no idea where was safe. Everywhere she went, there was five or ten of those black monster things, killing people or about to. Only a very few people were actually fighting back, and they never lasted too long. As Aya was running around aimlessly she nearly got ran over by a large human looking lady. Aya recognized her as the woman who helped out at the pub she was staying at (Taraah). The woman always seemed like a strong sort, so Aya hoped that maybe she could help the dwarf out. "Hey, you there! What are you doing, there are monsters that way! Don't you know how to get out of here!?"
Fallenreaper said Sorry? You could wait a bit for the Dwarf just to see if anyone goes for an Ancient and when I cap off, then I could possibly allow you to have him. What's your other idea?

Well just for the dwarf, I do need a bit of help for him. Namely, I need to find a very rare item, an item so rare that there is only one in existence and I dare not use him and sully his name. I need to find a male dwarf with a full head of hair... But no facial hair.

As for the other character it was going to be a half-orc/half-elf, but without the dwarf I just feel that I won't be motivated to string her along.
