Sounds pretty interesting. I have developed a keen interest lately in weapon fighting.
I bring plots, schemes, and machinations. Also plans.

As he sent off this letter, he also sent off a lightly manned boat containing a cache of weaponry, as well as another letter marked for the leaders of the raiders. The boat's course was set to head right to the center of the raiding, with orders to abandon ship the moment they saw raiders approach.

"Yup... just like I remember it." Hunter grinned, looking out to the peril that lay ahead, "those who be of nervous disposition around heights should stay here. Cap'n, if ye don't mind, I'm going to cause a distraction while you guys sneak in the back."

Without waiting for a response, he charged over the bridge and kicked down the door to the prison. He had some anger to work out and marines where always a good target. Undoing his makeshift bandages, he smoothed back his hair creating red streaks where the blood came off. The marines on guard were sitting themselves. This was the Crimson Brawler, one of the 10 most wanted Pirates in South Blue. Giving a demonic grin, he slammed the door behind him shut. Screams echoed from behind the closed doors, as blood spurted out, giving some clues to the NSFW violence happening inside.

"All men to battle stations, push back these bastards!" Raphael yelled, as he saw the danger approaching. Blast that Hennar girl, her luck had saved her yet again. Next time he would have to make sure he killed her and complete his vengeance. "Lieutenant, prepare all hands for impact. We can't afford to get sunk this far from shore."

Here, interest isn't waning.
Edited my post. Sorry for the misstep.
Noctus sat in the back in the room, kept from the front rows due to not being of any superior position. He simply decided to step back and watch the theatrics of nobility unfold.

A lesser man would simply watch the men, but that would gleam nothing of their potential. Instead he watched the crowd, seeing how they reacted to the candidates. Though the guild masters weren't present, the men is this room could be considered the drivers of the city's future.

Hearing the latest speech, he gave a glance around the room. The murmurings of his fellows marked him out as a suitable choice, though he would wait and see what options opened up.
