Powers
Nihilikinesis a.k.a Nothingness/Void Manipulation- Cerin has the unnatural ability to call upon the magical energy of the void, a quasi-sentient realm of complete and utter nothingness that has existed since before the beginning of creation. With this connection to the void Cerin is able to effect his own personal existence and to an extent the existence of others. He is able to bend his own existence in a few ways, for example he is able to partially remove himself from existence causing himself to become both invisible and intangible for a period of time. He can remove the distance between himself and a location he wishes to go from existence, to everyone else it just appears that he teleported, though he can only do this with reasonably short distances. He is able to surround his hands with void energy which has the ability to cut through nearly anything by removing a portion of it from existence, it appears as semi solid semi gaseous claws a little bit larger than Cerin's hands. He has even been able to remove any memory of himself from the minds of the weaker willed, though he hasn't been able to effect their other memories. His powers are still growing as he strengthens his connection to the void.
Nonexistent Physiology- Cerin's unique physiology makes him more durable than the average human, being able to withstand much more punishment and endure what many would consider fatal conditions such as extreme heat or cold, poisons gases, extreme pressure, complete darkness, etc. He also does not seem to have the need to eat, drink, or sleep though he does spend many hours meditating.

Equipment
Enchanted Satchel- A satchel that has been imbued with a special magic that allows it to store a whole room's worth of items, but still be able to be carried like any other bag.
Assortment of Ancient tomes- Cerin owns a wide variety of books on countless topics, mort of which involving the Arcane. The majority of them are kept in his room, but he does keep a few stashed in his satchel.
Collection of Occult Artifacts- Cerin has come into the ownership of a unique collection of mystic artifacts, from shaman talismans to sacrificial daggers though many of these items hold no true practical use to him he still keeps them stored in his room or satchel.

Personality
Cold, quiet, emotionless, studious, distant are all worlds people have used to describe Cerin. On the surface he appears to be just another teenager that just doesn't care enough about anything to show it. He normally keeps to himself, speaking only when he deems it truly necessary, even in class he won't speak until prodded by the instructor repeatedly. He has of yet to make an effort to reach out to any of his fellow class mates, spending most of his off hours locked in his dorm. The considerably "normal" activities that go on at the academy, such as friends hanging out, dances, and even relationships, seem to have no interest to Cerin, though a better way to describe it is that they confuse him. He doesn't quite grasp social norms like friendships or romantic relationships, he can recognize what they are when he sees one but he doesn't really knows how to interact with one personally. Cerin has a secert love for the arts, ranging from painting to cooking and everything in between though he would be hard pressed to admit it. When it comes to morality for Cerin it isn't about what is right, but what is right now. This meaning if stopping a bank robber just so happens to keep people from being hurt than that is a bonus, but if a bus full of citizens is dangling over a ledge and a target is getting away Cerin will chose to capture the target.

History
Cerin's beginnings were less than traditional, like many of the academy's students. He was the result of a dark ritual preformed by the leader of an ages old cult known as the "Children of The Void", as their name suggests they worship the realm known as the Void. The leader of this cult, Dracel Nocturne, used dark magic to tap into the Void in the hopes of physically crossing over, but the result was a small portion of Void energy being released and binding with Dracel. The failed ritual injured Dracel, but also had a unintended side effect on her in the form of a pregnancy. Her failure had conceived a literal child of the void and Dracel couldn't of been happier. She and the rest of the Children of The Void prepared for the birth of the child as if it was the most important thing in the world, a celebration was even held during the birth. The child, a boy named Cerin, was quickly inducted into the cult and all of it's teachings. He was trained all of his childhood in the dark arts of magic and was expected to one day lead the cult into greatness, but when he reached the age of fifteen something in him simply clicked and he couldn't stand the greed for power the cult had. He escaped into the night, taking many of the cult's artifacts with him, and set out to wander with no true goal in mind. He spent two years fending for himself before he managed to catch the attention of the H.I.V.E academy. He took the offer as he saw it as a way to sculpt his own path in life, even if he didn't know where it would lead.

Appearance
Cerin has a rather lanky frame, standing at 6'3 and not having a lot of weight on him. Both his skin and hair is a stark white color, reviling the color of snow. His hair is long and messy, he usually keeps it tied back in a loose ponytail that reached down between his shoulder blades. His eyes are a eerie purple color and are known to glow. His expression is usual a disinterested one, though half of his face is normally covered. He normally wears a black, slightly tattered, hooded cloak over a black greatcoat with purple trim, its collar covers the bottom half of Cerin's face, a pair of black dress pants and black leather dress shoes as well as a set of black gloves.
