Nate honestly had to give himself a moment after the guy grabbed onto his jacket and started yelling about getting back to the real world. He was hoping that this guy was just really good at acting and wasn't actually crazy. With a slightly weak chuckle Nate put his arm around the guy as if to steady him and started to lead him away from the café. "Sorry about this again folks." He called over his shoulder before he hurried the two of them along. Once they were down the street Nate pulled the guy into an ally out of public view. "Soooo yeah I saved your ass." He said nonchalantly as he leaned against a wall. "My name is Nate by the way."

Nate stood up as the guy got to his feet. He watched the disoriented boy as he half mumbled to himself and complained about spilt tea. "Yeah your welcome by the way." He said as he looked the guy over again. Nate's first thought was that this guy was on something, it wouldn't be the first time that he came across someone on a bad trip. But that thought quickly died after he noticed the guy's hand go through the chair. Nate took it upon himself to help the guy further. He turned on his heels and looked at the crowed of onlookers. "I am so sorry folks. My brother here is on his new medication, one of the side effects is a bit of disorientation. I will get him home now." He said before he threw his arm around the guy's shoulder. Nate then leaned in and whispered to the guy. "You might want to take it easy on the showing off your powers before people get suspicious."

Nate ordered another cup of coffee and stashed his laptop in the satchel he had sat next to his table. As he waited for the waitress to return he leaned back in his chair and watched the road. It may have seemed weird but Nate had always enjoyed people watching, trying to guess who a person was in a brief moment as they passed you by could be very relaxing if you let it be. He watched as a voluptuous blonde woman dressed in a black dress that was very "form fitting" to say the least walked past the café. Nate managed to pick up a piece of her conversation which went "Yes honey I will be working late again tonight." He took note of the annoyance in her tone as well as the tan line on her left ring finger, showing that she was at the moment not wearing her wedding ring. "Hmmm no ring? That dress is definitely not work attire. Nate thought to himself for a moment before smirking. "We have a cheater here." He said slightly out loud. He watched the woman as she walked across the street and meet up with a man who was waiting outside of a restaurant. The two exchanged a kiss, a passionate one at that. "I should get paid to do this stuff." He said just as the waitress returned with his coffee. "Thank you miss." He said with a nod as he took the coffee. He took a sip from the cup as he stood and grabbed his satchel. He was just about to head out of the café when he heard a loud thud from behind him. He turned and say a guy around his age passed out on the floor. Nate walked over to the boy, set his coffee a side, and kneeled down next to him. Nate then lightly tapped the boy's face. "Come on buddy, this is no place to catch up on your sleep."

A ember haired young man sat at a small table outside of café, sipping a fresh cup of coffee. "Mmmm extra cream." He said to himself as he had his eyes closed blissfully. The young man had a laptop opened up in front of him with what looked like a collage assignment pulled up on the screen, though he seemed far more interested in the cup in his hand. He eventually opened his grass green eyes and took another sip of his coffee before setting it down on the table. He looked at the computer screen and sighed. "So dull." He muttered before he moved his hands to the keys. What happened next was quite the sight, or rather wasn't a sight as it happened far too fast for a normal person to process. One moment the computer screen showed a blank page with only the heading Newton's Contributions To Science on it, the next five full length essay pages were on the screen. The man then leaned back in his chair, picking back up his coffee and taking another sip. "Damn, took me longer than I thought." He said to himself, though a slight smirk was on his lips. Though it may have been thought impossible, but that young man had just typed those five pages in that split second. To anyone that may have been impressive, but to Nate this was a everyday occurrence ever since his little accident. The green eyed speed typer closed his laptop after had sent it off to one of his professors and finished off the last of his coffee. "Now what to do with the rest of my day?" He pondered as he looked out into the street and the people who shuffled past.

Quantum Manipulation
Nate is able to manipulate a small field of quantum energy around him which allows him to do quite a few things. Such as he can manipulate his own personal timeline to the point that to others he appears to be moving at super speeds, but to him everything else just seems to slow down to a near stand still. He can manipulate the space and gravity around himself, to simulate flight, and others, which allows him to left them with his mind. He can also produce concentrated quantum energy from his body in the form of dark blue blasts. Though he hasn't mastered this power yet, but he had shown the ability to not only slow down time around him but to even fast-forward and rewind it.

Appearance
Nate has shaggy dark red hair, an average body build, fair skin with a few freckles dotted across his nose, and light green eyes. Over all he looks like your average collage student, normally wearing a T-shirt, cargo pants, and a hoodie. Though he does have his bottom lip pierced in two places and he never seems to go anywhere with out his headphones.

What kind of life do you expect for the only son of two of the world's most famous scientists? Well if you thought cozy you would be wrong, Nate's life was practically everything but. It didn't matter that they were rich or that they lived in a mansion, his parents pushed Nate way too hard. They put him on a study schedule that had him doing collage level work while he was in elementary school. He was home schooled since his parents believed that "the American education program was as useful as a yacht is in the Sahara desert", giving him very little chances to intereact with other kids. Though they expected way too much from their kid Nate did turn out to be a incredibly smart kid, being accepted into one of the top universities in the country. Things were starting to look up for Nate, he was finally out of the house and talking to other people his own age, but that all changed after a visit back home. It turns out his parents were working on a secret project, a machine that would do the impossible, send someone through time. Not knowing what the device was when he stumbled upon it Nate walked into its chamber and accidently activated it. The time machine appeared to had destroyed Nate, nothing being left of him. Nate's parents were so heartbroken that they stopped their project, seeing it as the thing that killed their son. But the truth was that the machine didn't kill Nate, but it actually worked, it actually sent Nate six months into the future. Much to the shock of his parents, though Nate couldn't tell if they were happy to see him alive or that they found out that their project was a success. Though the machine did more than just send Nate into the future, but also gave him the ability to bend quantum physics to his will. Now Nate is just trying to blend in as a normal collage student, though he does seem to take advantage of his powers to get to class on time.
