Duncan halted as he heard someone call out to halt. He looked around with a hand on his hilt in case there was danger but his grip relaxed as she spotted Elaine, one of his Royal Guard. "Elaine." he greeted the sorceress. "Two suitors who had arrived left the room we made them wait. I got an indication one of them might be around your room. Desmond Arkenstel is someone we need to keep an eye on." he said before he noticed a maid coming his way rather hasty. He had to think a bit before he remembered her name. "Emily, something wrong?" he asked. She came from the direction Duncan had sensed Desmond but his chant was wearing off a bit.

-----------------------------------------------------------------
Keith chuckled. "Bless you, your highness." He put a semi-worried look on his face. "They don't arrest me for making the crown princess sneeze here do they?" Keith heard footsteps coming and thought he recognised the lady in waiting but he forgot her name. He didn't like that his one on one time with the princess was cut short but he understood. In this stage it was probably best to not comprmise her. Keith looked around if he could see Desmond and he wondered if anyone else would have arrived in the meantime. "It was nice talking to you Princess Annabelle I hope we may speak later again if you permit it." he said with a small bow.

Duncan shook his head. "It is not that I wish it, quite the contrary, but I wpuld feel better if the princess is chaperoned. There is only so much the guard and I can do. You are her friend, her trusted confidante. No one can keep an better eye on her then you can." Duncan rised to his feet and opened the door. "I hope I can speak to you later." He said with a smile before on of the guards stepped up and reported that Keith had been seen in the garden with the princess and they thought they saw Desmond disappear from there. Duncan frowned. "Look for Desmond, Lady Madeline can join Prince Keith and Princess Annabelle in their tete a tete." He bowed to Madeline and with a hastey apology he took off to find Desmond. He didn't trust him at all. Duncan paused as he uttered a prayer to find Desmond. His skin pricked and when looked around to try and pinpoint where he was he got an general idea. When he thought of what was in that direction he quickened his pace hoping that Desmond would not be where he feared he might be.

Keith couldn't stand seeing her unhappy. He wanted that friwn gone. When Desmond vanishes Keith looked around to see the guards. He didn't think he would be in too much trouble so he decided to stay put. "There is always hope princess, that is why we, why I am here. To help out. Besides your people must love you. My father always sais the crown is as strong as the people and the people as strong as their crown.
He decided that maybe a little trick could conjure a smile on her face. He put one hand with his palm up and made a stirring like motion with the finger of his other hand. A miniature tornado appeared. When it was atrong enough to twirl on its own he put some petals in it. He then lifted it up above the princess and let it vanish, showering her with petal leaves.
People leaving the RP?
Yeah unfortunately that happens but with a couple active ones we can make it work.
Duncan leaned back as he thought, so much worry in the castle lately. The stress of the impeding war and thr though decisions being made sure made everyone a bit down. All of the staff could see how it affected the princess and it made them worry about her.
A knock on the door made Duncan frown and look at the door. "Yes?" He asked and one of his royal guards came. "Sir, the suitors have left the room we put them in." Duncan frowned, of course they weren't confined to the room and they were free he didn't like it that they roamed the palace unsupervised. Especially Desmond. "Try to locate and report." He looked at Madeline. "I would feel better if princess Annabelle werr chaparoned if the princes are walking around." He said. "It's better to be sage then sorry.

Keith saw Desmond take his chance and he felt apang of regret giving Desmond that opening. Politely he waited till Desmond had spoken a little with Princess Annabelle while we admired her from a distance.
Then Keith walked up and bowed to the princess. "Your Highness, what a lucky coincidence we find you out here." Keith smiled to her brfore he kneeled. "I wish we could have met under better circumstances so I could see you laughing more. I will promise to bring a spark of joy back into your eyes and do my best to lift your heavy burden of your shoulders, tell me how I can help you. It pains me tosee you so worried and burdened"
Duncan nodded before he grinned. "That is my job in the first place, but yeah I'm concerned. Drastic times call for drastic measures but you never know what kind of persons would respond and there are some freaks out there, not to mention spies." Duncan sighed. "At least I'm sure none of them are spies or assassins. So that is a positive." It was nice confinding in Madeline. Of course he had went over this with the Royal Guard but with Madeline he felt he could be totally open and honest with her.

Keith didn't know what happened when he got tackled and found himself pinned down and silenced by a hand covering his mouth. His eyes widend in shock and his heart rate went up. He was about to summon wind to blow Desmond away when he heard him talk as who he saw. Desmond was right, it would not do both of them good to be spotted by either of them out here. Keith was relieved when Desmond jumped off him. "Only a little bit akward." Keith responded but he could see the humour of the situation now. Had anyone seen them like that there would have been some explaining to do.
Keith rubbed some painful spots from the tackle before he glanced through the bushes while he nodded. He couldn't see them anymore he did however spot someone else at a garden pond not too far away. "The princess, she is sitting on a bench right over there." he whispered as he pointed. Keith thought, if they would jump out of the bushes that would raise questions if she'd see. Discretely he put some more strenght in a breeze and used the gust of wind rustle bushes at the far side and knock over a bucket standing close. When the princess looked over there they could jump up and pretend they just got there.
Jill sighed reliefed, to hear Traff was really gone was very good news. Jill looked at Avia. "Yeah, I suppose. I have no idea how such things work. I mean I know Ash for a while now but him trying to explain magic always gave me a headache." Jill shrugged. With Ash in safety and the treath eliminated there was no reason to linger around. "Allright, let's go back to the ship and head out." she said, starting to walk into the corridor they all came from.

Gnol nodded and followed suit. "I have no idea what that thing is and why Ash had to be placed in it. But since Avia trusts it I'm sure it is a good bug." He said. Jill chuckled. Gnol looked at Avia. "You are one hunderd percent sure that thing isn't digesting Ash as we speak right?" He glanced at the beam Traff was underneath or at least the dust the became. "Idiot, who does a magic duel underground?" he said as he shook his head.

Alan turned his back when Derek blasted through the ceiling. He turned back and looked up. His face lost colour when he faced the wild growling male Flarewolf. Protectively he tightend the grip on the Flarewolf he was carrying and stepped back as the Flarewolf was barking. "Seb, Who's your friend?" he asked.

Althea stepped back when Derek readied himself. Impressed she looked at jet of flames. When she wanted to climb up she quickly darted back when she saw the bared teeth. She was so ready to get out of here and now she was hindered again. "It is a flarewolf." She snapped at Alan. "Maybe looking for the one you are holding."

Treghor shrieked when the fire shot trough the floor. "A-are they a-alright?" he wanted to look but reconsiderd when the flarewolf was growling and snarling. "S-shoo, shoo." he stammered under his breath, weakly making he gestures. He hadn't thought the Flarewolf would go berserk, he had thought Seb and the flarewolf had some sort of understanding. "n-now what do we do." he asked.
She could want to take a fresh breath of air herself to clear her head. The two suitors and the princess could meet up in the herbal garden or at a fountain or something.

Think there is no much need for her to keep lingering in the hall, if others join in a maid can fetch the princess or bring them to her.
Duncan looked astonished to Rai. One of the siblings here... he wanted to rise and bow but Nobles words made him hesitate. He didn't know the murdered royal family, the times he been in the castle he could count on one hand. He never saw paintings of them or at least never studied them. He had to admit there was no way of telling for him wether or not Rai spoke the truth. Duncan had some experience in telling if someone was lying but not enough to see a real con-artist behind the mask. The hermit knew them so Duncan looked towards the Hermit to see what he thought of the claim.

Gnol was just taking a gulp of his beer and nearly choked in it. "What? Why didn't you say so before? Very convenient though, saves the noble knight the quests of finding you." He looked at Noble who seemed to take the news not so well. "What do you suggest noble Noble? How can we unearth the truth is this claim is false. You think she is an imposter? A spy of the King?"
As far as he was concerned if this girl she claimed she was then she was. If she wasn't he only needed one word and he'd throw her off a cliff himself. No reason to get all wind up about.

Crreessa applauded when Rai told who she was. If she was a lost child then those other two gawks must be her brothers. She didn't envy Rai if they were always that dence. They would know who their sister was, they should in her opinion. Those three had a similar scent over them and because of that Crreessa was willing to trust Rai on her word. Besides Rai had said he wanted him dead aswell so in her eyes that was all she needed to confirm that an assassination was the path they would follow. Crreessa knew that it was still not agreed on but to her it all she needed at this moment.

RedClaws looked at the Elder "We will train him properly." he said glaring at the small dragon. "My rider and I want to take revenge and kill the one respondsible for all the deaths amongs riders, their dragons and wild dragons. But the others might go look for others first." he said.

Terasivas nodded. "Yes Elder" he was about to babble more when RedClaws looked sternly at him again. The hatchling looked at all the big dragons and drew a bit back. The old big dragon was very impressive and the little green dragon went to Alan to tell about the experience. "Alan, did you see that? Isn't he superduper big?" Alan smiled and nodded but was a bit preoccupied with Rai

Alan frowned when Rai made her statement. There was ofcourse a possibiliy that she was a fraud like Noble pointed out but she could telling the truth. Ofcourse it was smart of not revealing who she is right away if she didn't know she could trust them. It would mean certain death telling such big news to the wrong people. And since no one was immediatly grabbing a sword and shouting death to the lost child Alan felt it as more likely to be truth. He couldn't see any signs of deception, keeping in mind that if Rai was a fraud she was a better con-artist then he was and he should bow down to her nevertheless, but he was inclined to believe her. He waited with speaking up to see how she was going to answer Nobles question.
Duncan nodded. "Yes it is up to her majesty but in case she would be in doubt and asks for advice I want to be able to give advice properly. It may be that it is unneeded but good to have in case of." he said. Duncan sat back. "To be honest I have some doubts about Desmond Arkenstel and I'm not too sure about Keith Sormard either." There was little to say about the Angel, it was hard to imagine what were the reasons there. Desmonds reasons were not very clear but Keiths were pretty straightforwzrd. He knew about the kingdom and the Royal family there. "But since they chose to court the Princess it'll have to do. I hope that all of them show us why they are worthy to be wed to our princess."

Keith grinned big and jumped out of the window right after Desmond. Keith quickly caught up with Desmond and adjust his pace. "Much better." Keith sighed. Keith looked around interested. He noticed it was well kept. It was nothing new for Keith to disappear from a room, even as a small kid he escaped official meetings and boring parties this way. He was glad to find some common ground with Desmond. Eventhough they were competitors to try and gain the Princess her affection or agreement to the deal he rather not they would spend all the time hostile and distrusting each other. Not that Keith had much to hide. It was well known he had shunned his duties more then once and that he rathered partied and have fun then to do boring regal things. But Keith was willing to change that, he felt it was time to mature and be everything Princess Annabelle needed.
Keith looked back at the castle from this angle, counting the windows and examining the walls, before he looked back over the field. "It is well kept, that is a relief. Means they aren't poor and that the threath of a war hasn't made the people flee. Which either means it is too distant or they love their Royal family so much they stay with them no matter what." Keith glanced back once more. "I do hope my room has a nice view."
Duncan was glad Madeline agreed. He showed her into his office and pulled a chair back for her to sit on. His office was very neat and tidy. Nothing was out of place. Duncan liked to keep it orderly. "Would you mind sharing your thoughts on the suitors present in the castle?" he asked as he sat down. He wanted to know the opinion of the lady in waiting and valued it high as she was a trusted confidante of the Princess. That it helped him spending a bit more time with her was defintily a plus. He hadn't made up his mind entirely. They all had their flaws, some more then others, and their history.

-----------------------------------------
Keiths spirit tempered a bit when Desmond said they probably weren't allowed to roam the castle freely and he had to agree that that might be true. Keith thought a moment before he opened the door and looked around but he couldn't see anyone around. "Excuse me, can we go see the gardens?" he asked into the empty corridor. He grinned as he turned back to Desmond. "Those who stay silent agree." he said with a mischievous glinster in his eyes. "I'd say we can go take a look outside." Keith went inside the room again and opened the window, he enjoyed the fresh air for a second. "I'd say that grass field is still within the castle grounds." Keith said as he looked as if he wanted to climb out of the window. He really needed to feel some fresh air.
"They didn't forbade us to go out." He added thoughtfully, it was only not very polite and probably not very prince like but Keith had always enjoyed to test the boundaries and just have fun. "We also could go the princess and let her know we want to walk around a bit and in the mean time see if any others have arrived." That would be a bit more polite. Not as polite as waiting till they were summoned but a better then sneaking out.
