Bixbyite

Gem: Bixbyite

Name if not gem: Bix (<- absolutely despised)

Appearance: Bixbyite is a mostly black monochrome gem, with scruffy hair and round glasses. She is incredibly small for a gem, yet very durable for her size. Her outfit is a rather simple grey color, with a button up shirt and pants. Other notable aspects in her design are the gloves and boots she wears. Her gem is on her left arm.

Powers: Quick healing abilities, mostly just for numbing pain, as she can’t heal actual injuries. Due to the small nature of her body, and the structure she has, she is very light on her feet, and is very alert. It’s hard to catch her off guard in general.

Backstory: [SLIGHTLY REDACTED] ... For the moment, at least. The basic information to know is that Bixbyite was a homeworld scientist, specifically skilled in studying and working with biology or ecosystems. She didn’t really pay much attention to her coworkers, and she has a hard time cooperating with others in general.
Items: Summoned – Unknown, Items on hand: Contact Device (Seems to link back to homeworld. Able to transfer data at any time.)

Writing Example:

The door slammed open, as the Bixbyite hastily walked in, clearly a bit irritated.

The gem could’ve sworn that she was supposed to be working on something else, but now she was given this new assignment. Mission, whatever you wanted to call it. This was getting a bit tiring, but honestly, she wasn’t allowed to disrespect the Diamonds, that would be absolutely preposterous in every way.

So, what was so interesting about this planet in particular? As she viewed the information noted, she was a bit surprised. There was a war? Interesting, though that space will need to be avoided. For the time being, at least. Who knows what was still there. At least until she gathered enough information to make a solid review on the ecosystem and particular weaknesses.

Well, that seems to be it. She closed the mission briefs, ready to get to work.

Earth, Hm? She did admit, she was interested in the planet itself. It seemed intriguing at the least, when it came to the inhabitants.

Though, she knew that it would eventually be taken over.

So, she didn’t really care too much.

Black Onyx

Gem Placement: Left Palm

Weapon of Choice: A hunting knife

Abilities/Powers:
- Can create “force fields” of sorts around a gem or living being of their choosing, or around themselves. Said force fields can be dangerous, as they keep the creature contained inside, unable to leave until the gem that had formed said force field releases it themselves, if said gem is bubbled, or if they’re shattered. [ Active ]

- The presence this gem holds keeps attacks of a certain descent from fully damaging their target. This relates particularly towards active abilities. [ Passive ]

Extra information:
- Black Onyx is a very paranoid gem, and can often become very aggravated incredibly easily. Often seen carrying their weapon in a wary state, or quick to draw said weapon against any opponent, no matter how harmless or dangerous.

- Black Onyx does not have a pronoun preference, but they are often seen referring to themselves as female, as this is what most gems seem to do. How others perceive them does not matter, in their mind.

- Black Onyx is easily frightened.
