I play a lot of Pokémon Ultra Moon. If you have any requests for specific eggs/babies, let me know and I will see what I can do.

Lot of old folks I knew in the past are checking me out. I wonder what they are plotting. :3

I wonder how I should address all the shade people have thrown at me during my time away. My mind says to let it go, but my heart says "with a chainsaw". Decisions.

Bio

Oh, you want to know about me? Not sure why, but ok.

A long time ago, in a bedroom far far away... my mommy met my daddy... and they did it.

What? Not that far back? Oh. Ok.

I'm a mechanic by trade, though a work-related injury nearly a decade ago has really hampered my life since. I'm what some would call a folkish heathen, if matters of spirituality interest you... though I lean more toward tribal rather than folkish. I live in Cleveland, have a nice little apartment in a decent neighborhood, and have two cats.

As far as RP? I like things with anime elements to them, as well as modern and traditional fantasy. Not interested in romance or furry or anything like that. Miss me with that stuff.

I'm brash. I do not sugar coat things. I will call people out on things. I will likely frustrate you at some point. ... however, I am one hell of a loyal person, should I ever decide you are a friend.

So there it is, I guess.

I can't really do that, Marrow. I'm not a GM.

But I CAN say this. 8 Trigrams: 64 Palms... and 8 Trigrams: Rotation... are actually very advanced techniques, with 64 Palms being the more advanced of the two. Neji was only able to 'learn' them because he was a prodigy whose genius was never seen before among the Hyuga clan. Even among the Main House, those two attacks are rarely known by anyone below the level of Chunin... at least as far as I recall.

Personally, I'm fine with a Genin knowing Rotation, but 64 Palms might be a bit much.

Hiden are things like the Nara techniques. Technically others can learn them, but they are closely guarded secrets so it doesn't (or rarely) happens.

Actually, with the war and all, and clans being nearly killed off... they might be a LITTLE more willing to teach their Hiden in an effort to gain and adopt new shinobi into their clans and strengthen their numbers. I know I'mma teach away some Hozuki-Clan Jutsu for that very reason.

@Marrow: I meant "Water". Shut up, I'm still sleepy.

But yeah, me no know what those jutsu are without clicking... and my browser is being a bastard with hyperlinks lately.

In any case, japanese or english, it's really your call. As I said, those weren't formal reviews.
Not an official review, obviously... but I'd just like to offer my opinions on the recently submitted characters.

Dystopia: I like the character, and despite having a couple higher-level jutsu, you made sure to note that the character is intermediate in their usage at best. The "Healing Technique" from the movie might be a bit much, but as a whole, it's a solid character.

Masaki Haruna: An Uchiha without Sharingan? IMPOSSIBURURURU!!! But in all seriousness, also a fairly solid character. Only real gripe I have with it is the tropes section... it's kinda and silly. I get it adds a bit of uniqueness, but in a fairly serious RP, it might be seen as immature.

Marrow: Not bad, either. Rounding out three fairly good submissions. But man... I no speaky japan. Only things I see there is "Mist" because yeah.

Why do people put "doesn't know" or "learn later" for moves when they can just be edited in later? But all in all, good on you, everyone. Good characters, IMO. I doubt Prince will do TOO much poking at them. LOL
Fair enough, I suppose. And so now I am off to sleep.
I thought we needed Genin, tho...

I dunno about originality being impossible. I'd say that there's always a certain "type" of character, but I think the moment we start playing them our characters are as unique as any individual is in the world. Even if someone has the same exactly abilities as mine, same personality and same background they won't be the same. Not even slightly.

I think that's a shade of originality.

Ha! So I'm not the only one that does this?

I've done it as well, and give most of my characters theme songs.

And on a separate note... p-p-p-p-posted!

Sorry it's not much, but I actually don't have much to work with as 2/3 of my squad has yet to really be decided upon.
Kirugetsu Hozuki. Formerly a 7 million Ryo bounty in Konohagakure for killing the head of the Hyuga Clan, Hirotaka Hyuga... was now not only welcomed in the Village, but a war hero to the people and a new squad leader for the Genin fresh out of the Academy. ""First day of a new squad. I remember my old kids. Wonder if they're even still alive." Last time he took on a squad to teach, there was a war shortly after. As much as part of him reveled in the combat, he knew he was past his prime by this point. By no means was he old and feeble, of course... but the days of him fighting tirelessly for hours were just about done. Maybe sometime before the end he could have his last great fight... a battle to end all battles for the Hozuki Jounin.

Meandering around the town as he stayed enthralled by the thoughts of his past... through sheer muscle memory at this point, he managed to walk to the seafood stall in the market. Brought back to reality by the pungent and salty scent of fish and seafood, Kirugetsu took a small pouch of money out of his pocket. "Got any crab today, Mister Futaka?" The middle-aged man nodded and handed Kirugetsu a small plastic bucket of small fresh-water crabs, and was handed some money in return. Kirugetsu smiled cheerfully, his shark-toothed grin (a blatant symbol of his former status in Kirigakure) caused the fishmonger to take a step or two back. Though he was a frequent customer, the shark-like teeth still made the man feel uneasy.

Reaching into the bucket as he walked toward Training Field 22, Kirugetsu was pinched by one of the tiny crustaceans. The attack was quickly responded to, as the Hozuki crunched the little morsel's shell in his grip and killed it. He then proceeded to eat it in a manner most would find sickening... by chomping the shell, sucking out the insides, chowing down on the pincers and legs, and pretty much devouring the entire animal. The process would be repeated several times as he waited for his squad. Currently, he was the only one who was unsure of his team's makeup. Only one member was certain, and that was a young Inuzuka girl, who like many of the new graduates, had suffered from a rough childhood thanks to Sai's reign.

"But how to start all this off?" grumbled the man as he absentmindedly chewed on a fragment of carapace left over from the last of the tasty treats he brought with him. Some teachers liked to test the kids against their own skills, others pitted them against each other, and still others made it a contest. In the past, Kirugetsu had chosen the second option, and set his students against one another in a bid to forge some friendly rivalry between them. This time should be different, he reasoned. But the other options did the same basic things, really. So how exactly to circumvent that? Eh, it didn't matter right now because his squad wasn't even here yet. Those chosen would likely have gotten their messages by now, so all that was left was to wait.

Waiting still wasn't his strong suit, but he could manage to chill out and enjoy the sights and sounds of the Training Areas for a while.
So... am I still in this?
Just reminding you, Prince. The Character Roster in the OP needs updated. Take your time, of course. Just figured I would remind you.
