Yog. I actually left your opinion alone and made no real remark about it other than to state I was still interested. The quip on sounding authoritative was meant to be a joke, but alas, text-based communication rarely translates emotion or humor well.

Now I offer a suggestion. We stop flooding Ouroboros' OOC with bullshit. He/She seems to at least be TRYING with this RP, unlike the previous Bijuu-based RP. As such, we are doing nothing but disrespecting them by continuing to carry on like we have done so far... no matter how much it has provided me with amusement.

That's a bit more realistic, but even THAT is pushing the bounds of what any Genin would realistically have.

In any case, I suppose you have a point as far as just trying to have fun. Even so, people going overboard is a good way to spoil that fun.

You know... I usually bitch at people for what I'm about to do. But I really feel the need to say something.

I like Naruto RPs, and was going to drop one of my characters in for Sunagakure. But seeing all the characters that have been submitted... much less APPROVED... has severely dulled my interest. I mean come on, people. Genin in this RP that have multiple elements, some have A-Rank jutsu, others have lower rank jutsu, but more than 5 of them? I can understand wanting to have a character that can contribute in a fight, but that's unrealistic for a trainee ninja who recently graduated.

Sasuke could only do Fireball, and Kakashi (a hella elite Jounin with Mangekyo Sharingan) was dumbfounded. Neji, a second-year Genin, could do 64-palms, Rotation, and I think like one other thing. They were seen as geniuses far ahead of others their age.

Again, I get stretching that a bit for an RP. But some of the things that have slipped by here make me wonder what the hell is going on. If people want to have a Naruto character who they can make super-badasses that have multiple B-Rank and A-Rank Jutsu... make Jounin. But Genin should really be limited to E-Rank Academy Techniques, D-Rank Jutsu, and maybe a single C-Rank to show they really worked at one specific technique. But having multiple C-Rank or higher things is just... illogical.

If anyone wants to comment, feel free. I may check back here from time to time and see if things have gotten more realistic. If that happens, I may be down for submitting a character.

It's not a huge problem this time, but repeated offenses may warrant more severe reprimands from Prince or the Sub-Mods.
