Holy Orders III (Be Just or Be Dead) - Daisuke IshiwatariPersonality: Raphaella is a no-nonsense sort of woman. She tends to get irritated at those she beleives to be immature, snaps at those who make light of a situation, and is generally not the most fun to be around. However she behaves in such a way in hopes of living up to her great-great-grandfather's name. In addition, being the Princess of Illyria affords her little freedoms. As such, she sees the new conflict as somewhat liberating... due to the fact that she has been given authority to deal with the threat as she sees fit.
History: Raphaella Kiske is the Princess of the Kingdom of Illyria. Her mother is Michelle Kiske, Queen of Illyria. Michelle is the daughter of Othello, who was the son of
Sin Kiske, who was the son of Ky Kiske. Coming from such a noble line, she is of course, expected to follow in her family's footsteps and become a leader in the country. However, she does not wish to become a leader. Rather, the strong-willed woman wished to follow in the footsteps of her great-great-grandfather and become one of the Sacred Order of Holy Knights. Much to her mother's chagrin, Princess Raphaella went so far as to hire one of the knights to train her in swordplay and combat.
On her 18th Birthday, as a symbol of both her lineage and of her desire to become more like her ancestor, Queen Michelle gifted her daughter with a re-forged Aquila Greatsword, the very same weapon Ky Kiske used while the Thunderseal was being used to hold the Maiden of the Grove in stasis. In addition, Ky had heavily modified the weapon in his time, granting it nearly the same durability and powers as his former blade. Raphaella knew then that she wasn't going to see her family for a time, as her mother showed support in her dreams of becoming a Holy Knight. The next morning, she left to begin her training.
Six years later, Raphaella returned home from her training. The Sacred Order actually forced the woman to return home after she inadvertently harnessed the Gear power within her bloodline, and killed three trainees that she herself had been teaching. She did not know this happened, nor was she informed of it. She WAS given an eyepatch to wear, however... and told that she would never be able to remove it. When she asked why, the senior knight she served alongside informed her that her
right eye held a terrible power which had injured the students, and they had to be sent home as a result of what happened.
Understanding that the Holy Order knew best when it came to such things, She agreed to never unleash that power and wear the eyepatch until such time that she passed away. Her family was curious as to the patch, and Raphaella told them she was injured fairly early on in her training and lost her eye as a result. However, she CAN see through the ultra-fine mesh of the patch, which blocks sight going in, but not out. Worried, the King and Queen offered to call in a physician, to which Raphaella responded most sternly against. Eventually, they let the issue go as the "injury" did not seem to impede their daughter's ability to function in any way.
Three months after her return to Illyria... an ominous broadcast was made from the United Kingdom. A being by the name of Issun Fukayatsu was threatening to destroy humanity, and had declared war on the world. Knowing her training would be of use, and that her abilities with the manipulation of magic to create lightning-based attacks was nearly identicle to those of her ancestor, Raphaella rushed to meet this new foe head-on. But was she ready? She knew Ky Kiske had faced Ramletherl Valentine over two centuries ago under similar circumstances... but who knew how much power this new threat had, or if Raphaella even held a candle to the former King of Illyria. Only time would tell.

Abilities/Powers:
Greased Lightning - This technique is a boosting ability that Rafaella uses to increase her speed. She supercharges her muscles and neural firing with electricity, hyper-accelerating ( around 5x normal ) her movement rate and reflexive capability. This takes a toll on her, however. After the brief period that the boost lasts (around a minute), she becomes winded and sluggish for around thirty seconds.
Thunderstruck - Thunderstruck is a simple technique in which Rafaella swings her massive blade at the foe. The slash need not impact the enemy, however, as a wave of lightning erupts outward for a short (10m) distance in the direaction the sword was swung. Those hit are subject to a fair amount of pain as their muscles briefly spasm from the exposure to high-voltage electricity.
Stormrider - Rafaella hurls her weapon at the foe and leaps atop it, riding it as though it were a surfboard. She also charges the blade and her body with an electrical current to further augment the damage presented by the attack, should it hit.
Thunder Underground - As the name implies, this attack creates an immense amount of electricity that is substantial enough to erupt from the ground beneath Raphaella's foes
Thunder Kiss - Rafaella blows a kiss most deadly at her foe. Pressing her fingers to her lips, the then flicks an immense bolt of lightning at whatever foe she chooses. The technique is a deceptive one, to be sure. And those caught unaware are subject to intense electrocution, pain, and possible death. This technique is also her most powerful one, capable of killing many foes in a single attack.
Infernal Dynamo - Being a small percentage Gear, Raphaella has a slightly higher amount of strength, speed, and power when compared to a normal human being. However, her most unusual feature is her
right eye. This eye is normally hidden by an eyepatch crafted by the Sacred Order of Holy Knights. But when the eyepatch sealing its power is removed by another being, Raphaella gains power comparable to that of her "Greased Lightning" technique, but with no known time limit, and suffers no ill effects. In addition, her raw physical strength doubles compared to that of her normal state.
