I play a lot of Pokémon Ultra Moon. If you have any requests for specific eggs/babies, let me know and I will see what I can do.

Lot of old folks I knew in the past are checking me out. I wonder what they are plotting. :3

I wonder how I should address all the shade people have thrown at me during my time away. My mind says to let it go, but my heart says "with a chainsaw". Decisions.

Bio

Oh, you want to know about me? Not sure why, but ok.

A long time ago, in a bedroom far far away... my mommy met my daddy... and they did it.

What? Not that far back? Oh. Ok.

I'm a mechanic by trade, though a work-related injury nearly a decade ago has really hampered my life since. I'm what some would call a folkish heathen, if matters of spirituality interest you... though I lean more toward tribal rather than folkish. I live in Cleveland, have a nice little apartment in a decent neighborhood, and have two cats.

As far as RP? I like things with anime elements to them, as well as modern and traditional fantasy. Not interested in romance or furry or anything like that. Miss me with that stuff.

I'm brash. I do not sugar coat things. I will call people out on things. I will likely frustrate you at some point. ... however, I am one hell of a loyal person, should I ever decide you are a friend.

So there it is, I guess.

Ah. So a more cinematic theme to combat, rather than the single-action "I try to cut you, can you dodge it?" shit that so many players choose because they are afraid of losing.

Actually reminds me of allot of Tuchanka.

You, sir... have gained a point on my points list.

Skall, I answered your questions in the CS list, as I saw them there first.

Everyone else: I apologize if the Exalted abilities don't translate over perfectly from a Dice-based game to free-form text RPing. rest assured, I will use my knowledge of the game and my decade of RPing experience to meld the two as smoothly as I can. Writing the abilities from a dice format to this proves somewhat difficult, but if you simply read what they do, you should get an idea how they will be used. I tried to remove as many references to rolling as I could, but may have missed a couple. I apologize if I did.

In any case, don't worry. I don't plan on being an invincible kill-beast. And as I pointed out, if anyone is curious as to the "favored spells" and what they do, I will gladly inform the curious party/parties.
Of course I can answer those questions.

Ox-Body: Basically, Ysolda can endure a hit that would leave most beings writhing in agony or dead. I stated a normal Exalt's "Health Levels" within the charm for reference. She is simply more durable and hardy than someone without those charms. No further benefits.

Durability of Oak: No, she takes LESS damage from it, relative to the strength of her essence. At Essence 8 (Maximum Essence rating being 10) Ysolda would resist a significant portion of the damage, but not all.

Adamant Skin Technique: Correct. This technique can resist any and all damage from an incoming attack. You could drop a nuke on her head... if she uses this charm, she would be fine. However... with that flaw, if she makes any defensive maneuvers (running, jumping, etc) for two turns prior to using it, the charm fails and she takes the damage. Thus making this technique fairly tricky to use in combat. It's not a "use this THEN don't move"... it's a "Don't move so you can use this".

Seven Shadow Evasion: Currently, he motivation is assisting the realm of Necropoli. However, her grand motive is finding new and wondrous technology to assist the Solar Exalted in reclaiming their place in Creation. She's simply confused as to how to do this, and it's taking a back-seat while the more apparent goal is attainable. If a character shook her will to help others, then she could not use this technique. And once she affirms her goal to help the Solars, they would then have to shake her from THAT goal.

Yes, it can be used to dodge attacks that should even be undodgeable. Example: A character uses an acid rain technique that creates thousands of drops per minute per square yard. She would move with such speed and precision that she would actually move between each and every drop of acid... much like Agents in the Matrix can dodge automatic fire with ease. However. This does NOT work against surprise attacks unless combined with another charm that allows that.
Name: Ysolda Corinthus

Age: 686

Gender: Female

Race: Human Solar Exalted, Twilight Caste

Random descriptors: Solar Exalted of the Twilight Caste may channel Essence through their animas as a last-ditch protective act. If after damage has been rolled, a Twilight Exalt will lose health levels, she may instead spend five motes of Essence to strengthen her anima in an attempt to resist the attack. Damage from incoming attacks is reduced relative to the strength of the Solar's Essence. This effect can turn an otherwise deadly blow or reduce a weak attack to harmlessness. This effect comes into play automatically once the Solar spends 11-15 motes of Peripheral Essence.

The caste mark of the Twilight Caste Solars is a golden circle, filled in with gold on the top, but having only an empty ring as its bottom half. At the “Iconic” level of 16+ peripheral motes spent, Ysolda's anima banner envelops her body in a form resembling this example. However, it does not further enhance the defensive capabilities of her Anima, nor is it capable of augmenting her attacks. If used in conjunction with certain powers, the Anima Banner enlarges to encompass the ability in question.

Character Tier: High-Tier

Character Type: Active Multiverse Participant

Physical Description: She looks like THIS.

Personality Description: Ysolda is not the most trusting woman in the world, due to her status as a Solar and her life of hiding from the Immaculate Order. However, she is almost always unable to resist helping people in need. Her skills as a healer are second only to her prowess as a sorceress, but she tends to avoid spellcasting if it can be avoided as the after-effects are usually... messy.

As attractive as she is powerful, Ysolda is not above usig her allure and silver tongue to get what she needs. Considering she generally prefers peace to war, she is even willing to go so far as offering her services as a healer, mage, or otherwise... to individuals if doing so secures peaceful resolutions. That said, if a particular party proves to be deceitful and breaks any peace she helps to forge... Ysolda will not hesitate to unleash the full fury of her power upon them.

She loves to laugh, loves to have a good time, and loves when everyone is getting along. Disrupting any sort of peace tends to get her very upset, but often times Ysolda is willing to warn people to back down before things get out of hand. If peace resumes, then she will always carry on like nothing happened whatsoever.

Character History: The Solar soul that gave Ysolda her Exalted might is a truly renowned one indeed. Once known as Sophrosyne Rasasvada ( Sophrosyne meaning “A healthy state of mind, characterized by self-control, moderation, and a deep understanding of one's true self, and leading to true happiness. Rasasvada meaning the bliss in absence of all thought), Her former self was not so different from how she turned out in this Exaltation. A skilled sorcerer and healer, and a loyal follower to a mighty Solar General in the War of the Usurpation.

Killed during an assault on the Blessed Isle, her soul remained inert for a very long period of time. It was only when a young woman from north of Farhold was spared by a horde of marauding beastmen (because she was at the nearby creek with her brother) when they attacked her small town. Hearing the commotion, Ysolda and her sibling hid until the danger had passed. Once safe, the duo ran back to town. Many people lay injured, some were already dead, and others still were dragged away for unknown purposes.

Ysolda rushed to aid anyone that was still alive, trying desperately in the face of adversity to save whatever lives she could. However, she was merely a child... and had little medical training beyond how to stop small cuts and scrapes from bleeding. While the rare person came forward with minimal injuries, most were cut deeply enough that they were at risk of death, had broken bones and severe internal wounds, or were simply dead on the spot. There was nothing the girl could do for them.

She kept trying, however. She tore clothing from the deceased and tried to make tourniquets for those with bleeding wounds, tried using sticks and cloth to splint broken limbs, and worked her fingers to bleeding in futile attempts to save the lives of those too injured to save. Oddly enough, she found her efforts began to work. She felt renewed, full of energy, and with a renewed desire to help the fallen. She had Exalted, and was enveloped in a brilliant golden light as she instictively used her newfound gifts to heal those injured in the attack.

Many were saved that day, but many others lost their fight for life. This was something that she could not let happen again. Or rather, something she didn't WANT to let happen again. Despite the fact that she had saved the lives of dozens of people that day, the inhabitants of the town were all devout followers of the Immaculate Faith. They chose to chase her away, rather than let her stay in peace. However, they did not report her to the Dragon Blooded, as she HAD helped them. Though that was of little consolation to a young exalt, now homeless and with nowhere to go.

Years passed, turned into decades, and then into centuries. Ysolda traveled with Lunar Exalts for the most part, who were happy to have her healing skills. In time, she developed abilities to supplement these. A basic understanding of Solar Martial Arts, defensive abilities to both dodge and endure attacks, and even an impressive arsenal of sorcerous abilities. Eventually, she began to wander Creation in search of... something. Something that she did not know she was yet searching for.

She met other Lunars, an occasional God, helpful Mortals, monsters, and all manner of various wonders. But even after over a century of wandering, she was still seeking something. That something, as it turned out, would find HER. When trying to develop a new spell, it backfired. The Essence channeled into the spell seemed to tear a hole in existance and suck the mighty sorceress into it. When she re-emerged from the vortex, she was on a dark world with little light... with air that was thin and would hinder most mortals. There was even a slight hint of methane in the air that caused the Solar to make a slightly disgusted face upon smelling it.

Fresh from casting the spell that went awry, Ysolda's Caste Mark glowed brightly on her forehead. The landscape she saw was a gloomy one that reflected the darkness of the sky and the stench in the air. Plants that were mangled and grew at odd angles, trees that had branches resembling wicked claws, and even an occasional small animal that seemed to shy away from the light emanating from Ysolda. This was a dark place... one in need of help. One that needed her. And so the story of Ysolda Corinthus continues... in a place far from the world she knows.
Yeah... or we could have one that has a, you know, respectable or non-cliche name/origin.
I think if we're going Non-Canon and altering stuff... why not do a non-canon village? Anyone down for that?
Farewell, everyone. I am leaving this Roleplay. I made my final post, and have removed Kirugetsu from the equation.

I wish everyone luck with the story and progression of the RP, but I find I can no longer get along with those who run the show here. So rather than drag things out and create more tension, I simply chose to step away and let everyone else have their places in the so-called spotlight. So in any case, everyone have fun and be sure to keep things Fonz-Cool.

And with that...

First Hayato attacks a Chunin, then Hosuka appears, then penalizes the girl who was attacked, and THEN insults Kirugetsu?! If he wasn't already so irate at Hayato, he'd have punched that smug look right off of the Hokage's face. He had the nerve to let Hayato live, despite knowing what he had just done... and THEN declare him to be kill on sight? This Hokage was not only punishing the wrong party, but making no sense while doing it. Something snapped in Kirugetsu's mind just then. And he went from completely enraged, to calm as could be. Hosuka then went on to belittle Kirugetsu's teaching methods, tell him that Hayato trying to kill an ally was basically forgiven because he was already an asshole, and even tried to hold the fact that Division B was wiped out as a reason behind telling Kirugetsu to not let his past get in the way of training his students... which it wasn't in the first place.

To top off all the nonsensical garbage that the Hokage had just put forth, he proceeded to insult Kirugetsu's manliness by telling him he needed a damn pill to increase his virility. While a good idea in theory, the fact that he had pointed out was this: The tree that the blooms come from only does so once a year, the trees themselves were rare, the pill only works to conceive a child, with a chance at twins, more pills would be needed for more twins, the clan would be forced into inbreeding, and the fact was that the Hozuki Clan was a clan built on techniques known to the members, not on bloodline... so a pill creating quasi-clones that would later just lead to inbreeding was not needed in the first place. All that was needed was the scroll that Kirugetsu had kept secret from all but himself. The fact was that he had not found many that were able to learn his clan's techniques.

He supposedly wanted Kirugetsu to reform the Hozuki Clan in Konoha... yet knew nothing of the clan itself. This was more of an insult than even telling the Jounin that he needed to take some magic sex pill to do it. Taking the pill in his hand, Kirugetsu smiled at Hosuka before speaking. "With all due respect, Lord Hokage..." the pill was crushed in the Hozuki's powerful grip. "... unlike you, I don't need a pill to help me out in the bedroom." the dust from the pill was released, and scattered in the gentle breeze as Kirugetsu turned to his student. "As the Hokage said, it was Hayato. He went off the deep end. And no, we let him go for now. He's faster than the both of us, and long gone by now. So for now we simply go on as normal."

He sighed heavily and patted the Hyuga boy's shoulder. "Get some rest, gather your thoughts, and prepare yourself. Your first mission will occur the day after tomorrow." Not really able to focus on work at this point, Kirugetsu simply looked at Hosuka and shook his head as if to say "not now". He then walked away, clenching his fists in frustration at the days events. He didn't really know what to do other than go home. So, with the debacle still fresh in his mind, Kirugetsu wandered back to his modest house. A shower, a meal, and a bit of writing later, he came to a conclusion... his efforts to assist this village were pointless when such a failure was Hokage. There were two options... one was killing the Hokage, which he could not do with the nigh-invincible monster known as Shin guarding him. That left... only one choice.

Taking the scroll he held so dearly, Kirugetsu took a match to it, condemning the Hozuki Clan's techniques to fade from the world. If they fell into the wrong hands, the effects could be disastrous... better to destroy them than to let that happen. Then there was his blade. So enhanced by the fact it pierced one of Sai's hearts... yet still reliant on the skills of the wielder. He brought it up to his face, admiring the craftsmanship of the fine weapon. He then belched acid onto the blade. No matter the craftsmanship, the chakra-enhanced acid would dissolve it into a worthless heap of barely-recognizable slag. Last but not least, there was a final obstacle that would need removing if he was to be rid of the hypocritical and inept leadership of Hosuka. ... that obstacle was himself.

Unclipping the small blade from his hip, Kirugetsu sat it on his bed. He then took out the explosive tags from the pouch on his belt, placing one on each arm and leg... with the last on the back of his head. His will set, he picked up the tanto and jabbed it into his neck just below his right jawbone. The pain was intense, but he had endured worse over his life. Dragging the blade toward the left, he carved a lethal wound into his throat. Even then, he did not die immediately... but was fading fast. Mustering the last of his concentration, Kirugetsu focused what little chakra he could to detonating the tags he attached to himself. Simultaneously, they exploded with a great amount of force, shredding the Hosuki's body into a paste of bone chips, charred tissue, and blood. This sort of attack would even have harmed him in battle and with Hydrification active, let alone as a method of suicide and with no defenses active at all.

The force of the explosion would be felt several houses away, and likely noticed by at least one of the village's shinobi. But it would be too late, The explosions had set fire to several items in the home... and that fie had spread to the walls, the carpets, and the frame of the house itself. Any hope of salvation for the Hozuki Clan had now gone up in smoke along with the clan's prized techniques, Kirugetsu's remains, and even the powerful weapon that had been forged in two wars. A sad day for Konoha. A sad day for Team Moon. A sad day all around. Kirugetsu Hozuki... war hero, sensei, celebrity, suicide. He had given his all for the wars he fought, but in the end it was all he knew. The flames kissed the air around the Jounin's dwelling, keeping all at bay who could not use water element ninjutsu. And even they were kept back for a short time by the intense heat of the blaze.

After a short while and the liberal application of water techniques, the flames would die down. However, the home was badly damaged and the room where the suicide had taken place was a total loss. The remains were burned into ashes, destroying any shred of DNA that remained from the initial blasts. The scroll, which had already been burned before the explosions and fire, was now just as much scattered dust as everything else that had caught fire. And the remnants of the Hozuki's prized blade were mangled and unrecognizable among the rubble and wreckage of the room. The destruction was total... Kirugetsu was dead and gone, his weapon destroyed, and the techniques of the Hozuki clan lost. The village of Konoha had lost one of its most cherished shinobi... and none would know why he had chosen to end his own life.

Although remember there are no high tier fighters out there currently.

There will be one there soon. I've FINALLY got a solid basis for Ysolda's backstory. She should be submitted in the next few hours.
Submitted Ysolda. Yes, I know I didn't describe the spells, but the CS was over 30,000 characters long by then and I didn't want it to be pushing 50,000 by the time I was done. It's already HELLA long as it is. If anyone wants me to describe the spells, I can PM the descriptions. If you all want me to include them on the CS, I can... but it'll just swell the sheet even more.
Interesting, to say the least. Count me in. I'll get to work on characters soon enough. As for my votes, I will PM them to you.
