Haha that would be pretty interesting, but who knows what path it will take. We will find out once we start this thing :P

Before any of that there was White line of games. Those games are where that whole thing started to gain a foothold in peoples imaginations. Without Vampire: The Masquerade and Werewolf: The Apocalypse, Vampires & Werewolves would likely still be considered allies. However, by the opposite side of that coin; those games went miles toward refining the concept of vampire & werwolf cultures & societies. Andwithout that,the popular imagination might still consider both monsters to be little more than demonic brutes.

So the same thing that made them rivals also helped to refine details about them, leading to them being what we know them as today. This is interesting history and i love it.
