Been on this site for 6 years, but was on the previous version that crashed. Found this site in its original stage not long after the fall of Quizilla forums.

I thought it was still fairly early in the morning XD
Nuka gave a hearty laugh when Alex said he would get the lights, her powers of persuasion clearly winning over his lacking sense of duty. She didn't mind him going over the counter rather than around it since he didn't put his feet on it and she smirked as he laid down and told her goodnight.
"Night works for me," She put the rag down, walking around to the other side of the counter to where she had some lounge chairs set up for the customers and flopped in one sideways, her legs over the arm, leaning against it so her head was on the back cushion.
She rather enjoyed the fact that there were other non morning people in this little excuse for a town. It made mid morning naps much more easy to talk herself in to and enjoy. Now if anyone were to come in and interrupt her sleep, it wouldn't be just her willing to commit murder, she was sure. And if that priest dared to set foot in her doors, she'd set his head through the hole in her wall which La Rosa's chainsaw had created. And if that loud mouth came in, she'd return the favor by putting said chainsaw through her bright red head. Anyone else would probably receive her usual growls and grunt about not being open till the sun decided to go away and to get lost.

Sam emerged from the library, deciding that perhaps some fresh air would alleviate the feeling of boredom that was setting in on him. It seemed no one these days could appreciate the joys of the library as much as he did. He didn't necessarily know where to go, however, and he started to idly walk about. From his corner perch of land he could see the lights were off per the norm at the bar, he had heard G and Zeke go by earlier, probably to the General Store and to be quite honest the both of them were more than enough intimidation to have to swallow for a day or two and he didn't really feel like dealing with that. He started towards the new guy's farm, deciding to be a semi-socialite having no idea what the poor tyke had been through. Had he known, he'd given the poor guy a break. Though he was a little concerned as he passed Vi's place and could see Joel and La Rosa within arm's reach of each other. La Rosa alone was enough to spell someone had a loud wake up call to the morning. He reached the farm and looked around, "I wonder how accurate the books are," he suddenly mused, his train of thought completely derailing in a matter of seconds. He stood there, almost completely stock still as he just stared at the fields in all their "splendor," wholly absorbed in his thoughts. Should the farmer locate the wayward librarian and interrupt said train of thought, he would find that the man would not regain recollection of why he had journeyed there, but would introduce himself nonetheless.
Nuka gave an eye roll at the fact he pointed out she wasn't hung-over, "I'm not actually always drunk," she grumbled, rubbing the glass a bit harder than it needed. Plus, her inventory skills were.... renowned for being.... nonexistent. She sighed in defeat before he asked the question about meeting the new farmer, "Do I ever leave during the day?" she raised a brow at the question, "If he plans on introducin' himself, fine I can say hi, that's not a big deal," she shrugged before putting away the glass that was cleaned by this point, "But if you're leaving might as well cut out the lights. My mess is cleaned up, so whenever I do have service they won't think a tornado whipped through the joint. So long as G is done hammerin' for the day, I'll actually get some shuddeye," she shook her head, thumbing quite sharply towards the blacksmiths. It was far too close to the bar for her own tastes. Hence half her complaints on the mornings she was hung over. The sound of metal on metal was enough to make her wants to shove a couple screwdrivers in her skull.
"You have fun with those social obligations of yours, I'm going to continue being a recluse. You want to know me, be over twenty and come to the bar," She said since in her mind that was simple enough, maybe too much even. She glanced at her alcohol stash, tapping her nail on the counter as she thought of whether or not inventory was worth keeping her awake from an encouraged nap. No. Not at all. She looked back to the doctor, wondering what he would actually end up doing, "I have a futon," she said, pointing to the couch towards the black, extending the offer to him to get in a nap as well, "Free o' charge to use for a few hours," she smirked at him
Hotaru listened to his explanation attentively, though she just seemed to ignore Kaori's exit. She agreed that she was excited to play with him as well, but all the effort her body was putting in to healing and the fact the room was dark again was taking its toll on her, "If you're having to deny," she smirked at him, "Perhaps you're thinking about him either more than you realized orrr Kaori's tricked you in to thinking about him more than you wanted to," she said with a shrug before rubbing her throat.
"Larel, let's get some sleep," Mera said, "We could all use it after today," she murmured, her head leaned back against the wall, eyes closed. She just didn't have the energy to deal with anything. She felt everything from the past few days building up slowly on her, and it just felt like everything was dragging her down, her own exhaustion setting in.
Hotaru looked at Mera before looking back at Larel, "it might be a good idea. All of us are light sleepers so we'll wake up easily enough if anyone comes in here and Mera can always lock down the room so we can all get some sleep," she suggested, not sure if he was as tired as the both of them.
"If it would make you feel more secure Larel, I'll do that," Mera murmured, sleep on the edge of her voice. Hotaru was surprised, Mera never usually let anyone see her in this state of being too tired to function, but she supposed it was to the point of what was the point in hiding any of it. Mera was also tired of the current conversation and was hoping that by going to sleep it would go away and not return. Hotaru looked at Larel, wondering what his choice would be. She was tired, but she would feel guilty sleeping if he was the only one still awake.
I'll reply tomorrow afternoon- I got hired on Tuesday at a local middle school and I'm going through the new teacher orientation stuffs that takes all day and I went and got stuff for my classroom today. I'll plan my post out so I can just type it up when I get home XD
I broke my promise and I'm really sorry >_< I'm kind of in a whirlwind, but I'll try and get it in tomorrow since the whirlwind isn't ending any time soon
XD I'll try to keep my responses to a minimum of a good sized paragraph to give plenty of stuff to reply to. If you're just like "Wtf am I supposed to with that?" tell me and I'll try reshaping my responses until something clicks. Kay? kay.
"I need curtains," Nuka muttered, "When the sun is up, I unfortunately am up as well as my windows don't do much of that light filtering bit," she held up the glass she had been cleaning, checking it for any smudges or the like before putting it back on its shelf, picking up another one, "Kinda wish I had a coffee maker on mornings like these," She mumbled, using her nail to get something off the glass, "You want a drink while you're 'ere? Might as well, right?" She looked up at him, stifling a yawn, mostly unsuccessfully.
For once in the past week she hadn't needed this stuff and it was a good thing because she was out of it. She didn't know what was in it. She didn't care. It made her days a lot easier now that she knew it existed. Of course, she didn't know what it said that the bartender was more drunk than her customers on about a 85% basis. Then again... she also didn't care about that either. All that mattered was she knew her booze.
She did have to say she liked the fact he started bringing the stuff to her rather than her having to drag herself to his joint. Perhaps her rather loud protests to the migraines extra throbbing after being in the bright light convinced him to avoid dealing with her and the priest in the morning. Whatever, it paid off for her and she wasn't going to argue about it. Plus if he bought some alcohol it was almost like it was a fair deal.
As another yawn forced its way out, her jaw giving a slight pop at this one, she glanced at the clock. A growl escaped her next as she saw how early it was. Heaven forbid she actually have any other service for the next few hours. The floor behind the counter was sounded more and more desirable as the seconds ticked by.

~Sam is currently enthralled by the wonders of farming~
I'll reply tomorrow I promise. Today was a super exciting/busy day because I got hired at a nearby middle school to teach 8th grade language arts :3
Trust me, I know the pain. I have a hard time joining big group rps because they always die after I've put the effort in to my characters
