Been on this site for 6 years, but was on the previous version that crashed. Found this site in its original stage not long after the fall of Quizilla forums.

Mary looked at the dolls surprised that he'd gone and made them, smirking a little at the chosen expressions, "They'll certainly apprecciate the effort," she murmured when he explained why he made them. Raina might not understand the point, but Eryn would be thrilled to see something made for him. She looked at him when he mentioned her gift, and tilted her head when he mentioned being the first person to be his friend. She smiled softly and nodded as he told her to keep it with her at all times. She started to look at his hand when he pulled it out of his sleeve, but her eyes went wide as he kissed her. Her face was bright red as he backed away, her eyes still wide as her mind was trying to catch up with what just happened, When he closed the door, she put her fingers to her lips, still bright red in the face. That was the first time she'd ever been kissed, and she was thrown for a loop.
"Mary, let's go!" Raina called from the end of the hall.
Mary looked towards her then back towards the door, "R-right," somehow leaving felt cruel right now. She swallowed, turning and forcing herself to hurry down the hall. They had to do this and she was the only one who could contact Nero, the only one who could really get rid of Sybil. She doubled back, though, wondering why that smile had been so sad, but Raina grabbed her arm and pulled her away. It wasn't fair. Why would he depart that way, knowing she couldn't stay and figure out why?
She sighed, glancing back at the inn again once they were outside on their way. When she got back, she was going to make him answer those questions.

Ovorion sent one of the two after them, giving him commands in their native tongue before getting back on his horse. He and his second man started on towards the next town, urging their horses forward at a break neck speed, wanting to waist no time. Ovorion felt that Sola's direction was too precise. She was trying to lure them away from something, which meant his target had to be in the other direction and he probably didn't have much time. Alessea and Mary were unique with their mental abilities and they were adversaries to be feared and hated. They could crush you with sheer will alone or warn their allies of your prescense.

Wake up! a voice in Mera's head jolted her awake Danger is coming! You must flee!
"Mother?" Mera looked around groggily, before shaking her head, What do you mean? Now was not the time to point out she was almost sure her mother was dead or dying.
Ovorion. Something happened, he's dead and Ovorion's looking for the murderers, which he is under the impression is you.
"Shit," Mera muttered, looking towards Larel and Hotaru. There was no time to wake them and explain and deal with unwilling backseat drivers. She turned to the window, opened it and jumped out, sinking in to the ground below. She could get away for now and the two of them would be safe from her uncle. None of them were up to the task of another pain in the ass at the moment. Though she hadn't been conscious she was aware her siblings were already gone, meaning by the time Ovorion reached the village there would be no gypsies to speak of.
Mary looked at Kaori as he spoke, her brows furrowing a bit as he asked her to come to Alari's room. She slowly nodded though Eryn now raised a brow hearing the stipulation f only Mary comig, "I see how it is," he said, waving it off.
Mary rollwed her eyes, but Kaori was already gone before she could agree or disagree. She sighed, "I suppose it can't really hurt," she mumbled before she and Eryn worked on quickly getting their things together.

Raina slipped in to the bedroom, trying her best not to step on a board that creaked figuring it would wake Mera's little bodyguards up and she didn't have time to explain herself to anyone. If Ovorion was coming they needed to get gone quickly or he'd get completely in the way. She knelt in front of Mera, pulling out a powder, blowing some in to her face. Once Mera had inhaled it, Raina leaned over, whispering what she needed Mera to do. Mera's hands flattened on the floor, though she still seemed completely asleep. Raina got out something to quickly jot it down on, using a small piece of characoal as a make shift writing utensil. Mera began mumbling something and Raina started jotting it down quickly, sighing a bit when she realized how far away it was. Once Mera had given her the directions, Raina whispered for her to go back to sleep and apologized for stealing Mary away before Mera could finish that cloak she was making her, then slipped back out of the room.

As Raina returned with the directions, she and Eryn went to get any other supplies they'd need for the long journey, then Mary walked down to Alari's room, knocking on the door, "We've got just enough time that I can come see what it is you were talking about," she said through the door, not wanting to just barge inside. She looked out the window, trying to questimate how much time they really had before Ovorion would give up his search in one town before heading this way.

Ovorion was allowing his men to slowly make their way through the town, wanting them to be absolutely sure before they moved out that there wasn't any other gypsies left. However, one of them called his attention when they reached an inn. He went inside and a few minutes later came out with Alessea and Sola, their arms bound.
"Where are your siblings?" He looked at Sola, who had a stone faced expression on her face. Alessea looked as if she could barely stand, clearly having had a number taken out on her by the demon possessing her mate, but it seemed as if Sola had been caring for her wounds.
"If I knew, I'd never tell you," Sola said simply before getting back handed.
"They murdered your father, how can you-"
"That man wasn't our father. You murdered him when you ignored Nelothan's warnings and went to that temple," Sola looked at him, the fire burning in her eyes, "He TOLD you there were demons there, that their souls would be lurking- you could possessed too for all I know, but it doesn't matter. Your accusations are false as our father hasn't been here for a long time and therefore could not have been murdered by my siblings," she said, standing up right again. Alessea smirked a little bit hearing her, glad she was aware of that. Sola had held on to the hopes of their father returning longer and stronger than any other sibling, but even she had become aware of the fact he'd been replaced by a monster.
"So you're a co-conspirator in his murder then? We'll see you punished as well," Ovorion said coldly before motioning to his men. They tied the women up to the back of the horses, but before they could get going, fire exploded around Sola, burning the ropes, and she burned the ones holding Alessea before swooping her mother up and blasting away in the opposite direction of the village where Mera and the others were.
I lied. I'm so sorry. Eighth graders are terrible little shits that leave me completely exhausted from the sheer lack of respect much less actually trying to teach them a damn thing. I will post tomorrow if I have to lock myself to the keyboard to do so. And I shall try and make it worth 2 weeks wait.
So busy @_@ i might be able to get one in this weekend. I've just been utterly exhausted at the end of the day
I'll have her interact with the general store guy the next time I have a longer second to think about writing it. Planning lessons is hard, y'all. >_<
Nuka had begrudgingly awoken as Alex parted, grumbling a response to him before she had gotten up and opened the blinds to force herself to be awake, though her head pounded from the sudden brightness from outside. She sighed as she looked around the room before spotting some rather empty places on her shelves, "Damn," she grumbled, remembering she had used up the last of some of her spirits recently.
She grabbed a pad of paper and dug around for a pen before sitting on her countertop, writing down the things she realized she was missing, though it took a good few minutes of looking over everything she currently had to remember that which was missing. It didn't really dawn on her until she was a good midway through the midst of her poor inventory attempt that she could have just looked in her bin outside to see what bottles where there, which would have answered the question in much more timely fashion. She groaned, hitting herself over the forehead with the spiral part of the notebook.
She decided that her defense would be that she had only just woken up and being a responsible establishment owner didn't come easily at that point in time in the process of her systems rebooting. She slid down from the counter, giving the whole thing a quick wipe down while she was thinking about it, and then walked outside to go dumpster diving for her inventory.
Mary watched her uncle as Alari started talking before looking up at him. She balked a little bit at the mention of justice, looking towards where they had left their father, barely alive, but still writhing. She nodded when Alari mentioned he was sure her uncle would hurt anyone who got in his way, "He definitely would. The older gypsies don't believe in us interacting with humans being a good thing, finding humans to be like vermin since they believe that because humans became so large in populace the elves were brought down from their reigns of power and grace and left as nothing more than we are now. He, however, is who Mera largely blames for the change in our father. It's a longer story than I can tell right now, but there were believed to be two ways the elves "devolved." The first is us, the gypsies. The second was that they turned in to demons if the darkness in their hearts was powerful enough. Demons like Sybil and the one I'm sure possessed our father," she said as she looked towards her uncle again, "His name is Ovorion. He's not going to spare anyone who gets in his way. I'm going to get our destination from Mera, so by the time you return Raina, Eryn, and I are going to be gone. We're going to figure out a way to get rid of Sybil for good," she said, her eyes narrowing again, "Good luck, Alari. And be careful. It would be best you avoid further interactions with him, he'll likely lash out in response." She said before severing the connection.

Mary held her head as she came back, squinting as she opened her eyes, "We need to leave," She looked at Raina, "Go get the location of the temple from Mera, use that powder of yours if you have to. Ovorion is coming after us," she said.
Raina's eyes narrowed before she hurried down the hall, Eryn paling a shade, "Why's he after us? As if Father wasn't enough," he put his head to his chest.
"I believe he's under the impression we killed Father," Mary murmured, "He spoke of bringing justice to murderers and he's got at least two others with him to help search for us."
"Likely earth users since he's got no abilities," Eryn sighed heavily, "Why can things never just be easy?" he pouted a little bit
I shall try to get my random post in later today, but it seems life may have stolen the momentum of this rp...
I suppose Nuka could go out about now, maybe have to go place her order for the spirits she didn't realize got finished off.... I'll try and get that up either tonight or tomorrow afternoon
"I need not respect you nor tell you more than I choose to. If you can't tell me where the gypsies are then you are no use to me and I shall find them on my own," He said sharply before starting to walk past Alari, "Go on about your false sense of peace and leave me and my comrades to our duties. No human guards are of any use to us as their punishments are not nearly severe enough to matter to our kind," he said shortly. They had once allowed humans to deal with one of theirs when he had committed a crime, but the gypsy had merely laughed it off as if it had been a joke all along and didn't realize that it had been actual punishment from the elders. Now they distributed punishments of the severest kind by their own hands. If he found the siblings guilty he would bind them with cuffs that were covered in runes that disrupted their connections to their elements and eliminated half their ability to fight back before they would be branded for the crime, usually somewhere that was visible or would allow the pain last a long time. After that they would flog them using weapons that tended to tear meat from bone if it hooked on just about right. No it wouldn't kill them, but they would be writhing in pain and unable to function for a long time, along with the permanent mental and physical scars. Their elders had found the punishment much more fitting for their people.
Sometimes the sanity of the elders was questioned, especially with punishments so brutal, as they were some of the oldest members of the camps, but no one dared to question them aloud as some other severe punishment would be doled out in return.

Raina yanked the door open, giving him an evil kind of glare, "She heard you, calm the hell down," she growled, "She's trying to check," she thumbed to Mary, sitting in the middle of the floor.
As soon as Kaori had said something was wrong with Alari, she had gone in to that state, trying to reach out to him. It was hard to focus, however, when he was banging and yelling, hence Raina's abrupt and snappy opening. Once it was quiet, she was able to focus clearly and Alari would probably feel her touching in to his mind, Alari? What's wrong? Kaori's quite upset about something. She was trying to look through his eyes but couldn't see very well, Hold on, I'm going to try something. After a minute of silence a translucent version of Mary appeared next to Alari, though she was squinting as it was really hurting her head to focus like this. She looked around, trying to see what was going on and gasped seeing the man, though only Alari would hear it in his head, That's our uncle. What's he doing here?
