Stupid pictures -__- ![Rhysln](http://i1003.photobucket.com/albums/af156/DrakeandKieve/Anime%20Girls/Anime%20Princesses%20and%20Brides/Picture768.jpg "Rhysln") **Name:** Rhysln Silverspring **Age:** 22 **Gender:** Female **Personality**: Upon Ovorion's arrival, Rhysln had been impeccably naïve and over trusting. She had been taught to see the good in people first and foremost and tried to keep that in mind when she inherited the throne rather early due to her parents untimely passing due to illness. Even though she is no longer so quick to trust, she is still kind and will do what she feels is right, regardless of whether or not it is to her advantage. She cares deeply for her sister and would easily throw herself before the sword if it was to save her. She is loyal to the three knights who came to their aid during the coup and trusts them above all else. She, however, is not the romantic type. She has no immediate care for such things and wouldn't allow them to get in the way of her ultimate goal of reclaiming the throne. She isn't all that unaware, on that same note, that she does need to marry to keep their line going, it's just not the top of her to do list. **Role/Title:** She is the queen of Waylox. Currently, she's working as a storekeeper, mostly just inventory and keeping up with the money. She also has been trained to wield a sword, much better with them than axes. She has no skill with the bow and arrow or magic, so she hopes to find someone else that can handle those areas during battle. **History:** Rhysln's parents died when she was 15, leaving the young princess an early queen, having to rely on advisors to help her run the country. Luckily, it's not as large as their neighbor over the mountains, Caradia, which calls itself an empire, but it was still no easy task to manage. She didn't shirk her duties, however, and learned from her parents most trusted advisors how to rule. By 17, she thought she had it pretty well underhand, though by no means was she ready to handle the whole thing on her own. It was at this point that Ovorion came to her, saying he had a device that could harvest food at a faster pace and therefore get the food back to her people sooner. She had a bad feeling about him and her sister had warned her that she thought that the "bad man" was going to hurt her, but she couldn't ignore him either. He had gone and told people in the towns about what he was proposing and she knew if she ignored him, the people would be quite unhappy with her for not caring about them, especially with the winter months coming up. So she went. She took two guards appointed by the captain with her and went to meet Ovorion in a field that was "large enough" for his contraption. Her heart had been her throat the whole ride there, the three just on horse back, not taking a coach or anything with them. One of the knights stopped her when the field wasn't too far ahead and the other went to see if there really was a device of any kind. But the enemy had anticipated their wariness and attacked the three. As they escaped, the forces returned to town and attacked her people. But there was nothing she could do. They were outnumbered and people within the city guard had been bought- something she hadn't considered a possibility. But her two knights rushed her to safety and within hours, the captain joined them on the road with her younger sister in tow. That was what lead them to finding their way to Farthing Village. A small place in the corner of the map that most forgot existed until they saw it from a distance. It was situated with its back to the mountains and the Deep Woods to its side. There was no way for an enemy to sneak up on the town, but it also didn't leave much room for escape should Ovorion track them down that far. But Rhysln wasn't going to be idle. She knew she would have to take back her home at the earliest opportunity and she couldn't rely on everyone to protect her. So she had the knights teach her the art of battle while she blended in with the people of the village. She cut her hair and dressed the part, though convincing her sister to do so was a much more challenging task. Now that she's sure of her ability and she's sure that Ovorion isn't expecting her, she has sent her knights out to the other towns to start trying to find people that might be willing to rise against him. She isn't sure what to expect, but she knows she has to try. **Anything extra:** Regardless of the life she's lived so far, she is still prim, proper, and sheltered and will react in one way or another to things such as swearing or anything lewd.
**The Story** [Waylox](http://s62.photobucket.com/user/evilqueeny/media/Planets_wallpapers_119.jpg.html) In the country of Waylock, there has been a coup. A man, hungry for power, tricked the young, naïve queen in to coming out of her castle with promises of having a way to feed the countries people en masse. She, with her people’s best interests in heart, left the safe walls and her younger sister while she investigated the said method. [Imperial Castle](http://s62.photobucket.com/user/evilqueeny/media/8999669413_9f1f3d02e8_z.jpg.html ) As her younger sister had predicted the night before the trip, it was a trap. The “bad man” was trying to kill the queen. But the guards she had taken with her with more than enough to steal their mistress from danger, and their captain took the princess before the castle itself would be overrun. But in a country that is surrounded by mountains, thick forests, the sea and the edge of the world, escape could only get them so far from danger. But they made their way to a village nestled in the crook between the mountains and the forest of the north, a forest no one had gone in and returned to tell the tale, where they have raised their royalty from young children to women, taught them combat so that they might defend themselves. And now the queen has determined it is time to take back what is theirs, to rid their Waylox of the usurper Ovorion and take back her throne. But would the five of them be enough? Did she even want her younger sister on the field of battle in case anything were to happen- so that the country would still have one rightful claim to the throne? [Farthing Village](http://s62.photobucket.com/user/evilqueeny/media/Fantasy-village.jpg.html) Who would come to her aid? Who would dare stand up to the man who had proved a tyrannical monster? She could only hope and pray that someone might be up to the challenge. **The Rules and Regulations** Willing to accept people in any role other than the queen. I’ll be taking that one just because of storyline purposes. CS: `(Picture here) **Name:** This one's simple. What's their name? **Age: **How old are they? **Gender:** Male or female? **Personality**: I want at least a paragraph here. Tell me about the quirks. Just cause I know them doesn't mean the other characters have to. **Role/Title:** Were they a noble? Are they a robber? What can they do? Be specific. **History:** Two paragraphs. Why are they here? Why did they come to her call for aid? Did Ovorion do something to their home? Did their parents do something to them growing up? Don't skim the details. **Anything extra:** Is there anything you want us to know about them that perhaps might come up later? Or do you have a theme song that works for your character? ` I'll post rules and such once I have a good number of people joining, most likely on the actual OOC and such. I'll post the queen's profile up soon if you would like to see what I'm looking for before making your own profile.
That was me today lol. I got a new desk for my room to try and motivate myself to get more work done and be more professional and all that, but I didn't have an actual office chair. I've been delaying it by using a chair from the dining room. Today I had nothing planned and nothing really to do aside from wash my dog and I was just like... is the dining room chair really all that bad? But I went and got it so now I have me a fancy schmancy office chair. I got a 3 year warranty on it and the guy at the store was like "Now in 3 years come back right at the end of the warranty and get a new chair." I was like XD Well that's one way to use it
"You're right. Ignoring you is simple," Hotaru said simply before turning and starting to walk away, heading towards the inn. She didn't plan to acknowledge him period, so why bother with a truce? If he didn't want trouble then there was nothing to be concerned about. If he tried to attack Larel or Hotaru, Mera would turn him in a tree. What did they have to worry from someone like him? "Come on, Larel, I want to hear more about the Kabuki," she said as she glanced back at him, already pretending Hiroyuki didn't exist, "I'm sure Mera's bought the rooms by now we can just chill out until we're rested and ready to go," she turned back around, continuing to walk. Mera smirked a little at Alari's little attempt at humor before nodding to what he said about Larel, "Hotaru might be the best bet with her training, if Raina was with us, I would use her, but we can't say anything to them about what the item we're getting is for, or Sybil will ruin the whole thing," she said seriously, "I'll just say it's some gypsy thing he stole from me, though I won't be too far off the mark... It's this annoyingly small piece off of an old elvish artifact. Like a small animal figuring that sits on the front of an archway... Once it's back on its proper pedestal, the gateway to the realm where Sybil and her lot come from will be closed and they be forced out," she said, "At least according to the research they drug Nero up for says," she crossed her arms, taking a deep breath. Hotaru didn't really wait for Larel, figuring he was coming along, before walking in to the inn, starting towards the rooms, following Mera's scent. She raised a brow finding them conversing in the hall, "Well, seems you guys took your sweet time getting to the inn." Mera gave Alari a look as she ended the conversation before looking over to Hotaru, "Just a status update. This rooms ours," she said as she reached over and unlocked it, putting Alari's key in his hand since he hadn't taken it
Hotaru nodded and got up as well, starting with him back out of the restaurant. She took a deep breath as she looked around, making sure her hood was up as she stepped outside, not about to let herself get a burn and then have everyone there know what she was. They just need a little bit of time without the world chasing after them, or at least she did. She wasn't sure how much more she could take. She could see Alari and Mera up ahead, but decided not to say anything since that would give Larel just the reason he was looking for for wanting to punch Alari's face in.
"So. Aside from enemies, do you know what's in the North? This is definitely the furthest I've ever been so I'm definitely finding myself curious," She mused, looking around as she said it. The people here weren't that different than what they'd seen before- if not considerably more mellow- but it wasn't the kind of thing she was still expecting to see this far away from "home."

Mera looked up at Alari feeling his hand on her shoulder, not answering his questions outright. Mostly because he was the answer to the first. So instead she pulled the poster out of her pocket, making a gesture back to the square, "Though there were no needs for herbal remedies, there was this," she showed it to him, "We're definitely in the samurai's reach. I've put a flower near the billboard so I can see who will be the first to react to the missing poster," She said before going inside and paying for the rooms, holding a key out to him for one she had gotten for him, "As much as I dislike the samurai, Mother just informed me that they found a way to rid us of our distasteful guest, or at least the newest one," she said once they were on the hall with the rooms, not wanting to have humans overhearing what she was saying, "It involves my "favorite" shogun that Hotaru mentioned earlier," she murmured, shaking her head with a sigh.
(I've tried to talk myself in to going to bed earlier and to get up and do the grading but then in the morning I'm just like "....nope more sleep."
I dun wanna go back to work tomorrow T_T But I have to... even though I'm just now getting to bed due to very bad procrastination with planning and grading >_<
Hotaru gave a small appreciative smile when he patted her shoulder. She made herself take another sip of it as Larel talked about understanding Alari's tenacity before looking up at him. She put the top back of her container while the two talked, putting it away. When he mentioned her, her face turned red and she looked away definitely not to let either of them see that. She cleared her throat, managing to clear her expression for the most part before looking at him,"Does it actually hurt or is it a part of the usual dramatic flair the two of you tend have around each other?" she raised a brow, "Sorry... that probably sounded really rude," she pursed her lips, feeling bad for making a comment like that, "We can wait a bit until he's already in a room or I can get you some dango or something to make up for that nasty little statement."

Mera was still standing at the board, but she found she wasn't actually reading anything. She was staring at the pages, but nothing seemed to be sinking in. She put her hands to her face, rubbing her eyes, "You're being ridiculous," she muttered to herself, "It's not like anything you just heard really changed anything. It's all about stuff in the past, right?" she shook her head before looking at the board again. She sighed seeing that there was a poster mentioning that a reward for any information on anything passing through that wasn't human. She discreetly pulled it down, folding it up as she saw there were no requests for potions or herbal remedies, "I'm sure they've got their own tricks," she mused before turning and starting back towards the inn.
Mera, we've found something
She stopped walking and looked back the way they had come, towards the hills, What is it?
It's not going to be fun/
Have that insipid demon around isn't fun, Mother, what do we need to do?
Well the good news is that you're heading in the right direction....
Mera rubbed the bridge of her nose, listening to her mother's directions as she walked back to the inn, needing to get back in time to pay for the room for the two since she hadn't given them quite enough for that. She walked in to the inn, a little unaware of her surroundings at the moments as she was still listening to her mother. It just so happened the very same warlord Mera hoped to avoid possessed an item that could forever keep Sybil in Hell where she belonged, the other demons too. A key.
"Of course he has it. It can't ever be at the bottom of a cavern that requires puzzles and magic to retrieve it. It just has to be in the grimey hands of bastards who I'd rather never deal with."
I did once... There's boys in one of my classes that never stop talking and I turned to them cause they were distracting people while I was teaching and I went to say "I know you don't care, but do you mind letting those who do be able to listen?" and what came out was "I know you don't give a damn-"
Hotaru smirked a little at him downing the first bowl, shaking her head a little bit at him. When he apologized she shrugged, but she didn't seem slightly interested in "nourishment," as she just leaned on the table, putting her chin in her hand as she listened to him. She smirked again when he admitted to getting distracted, looking away at is comment about bringing her comfort, "Well, I appreciate the sentiment," she murmured, "And the interesting story. Hopefully I wouldn't ever put you in the awkward situation of trying to follow up on those words," she said lowly.
She looked around the restaurant, letting him finish his ramen. The people here were much more mellow than places they'd been before. Like those woods they'd passed through created a barrier between the drama that existed in one town, preventing it from destroying the peace in another. Or at least she hoped that could be the case. Trouble never seemed too terribly far behind them, and now it seemed like they were also running in to it. Maybe the two front could negate each other for awhile.
She sighed heavily, pinching the bridge of her nose before getting out the gourd that Mary had given her. The last thing she wanted was to give Sybil the chance to fuck up a chance for some actual peace and quiet. So she took a drink, making a very displeased face all the while.

Mera stopped as the shadow went past and looked around, trying to figure out what just happened, not unaware of the fact the people didn't seem to be aware of her standing right next to them anymore. She turned towards the source of light, her brows furrowing as she saw it was near Alari. She moved a little closer when her presence seemed to be basically ignored to try and understand what was going on. She heard him be called a Fallen King and apparently Zenmaru was a Fallen Queen- the implications she did not miss- and apparently these transcended spectators had a name for her too. She stayed silent and at a distance, just absorbing what there was to hear. She didn't really know how to take it all in. Most of it was simple. It shouldn't have been a question really, why should she feel so conflicted and confused as the shadows vanished? She wanted to know more about him and now she did. She knew there had been some sort of a connection with him and Zenmaru, that was impossible to deny, but their titles showed just what kind, or was she reading too much in to that? But according to the spectator Zenmaru would arise again? What would that cost Larel if that meant what she thought it did? What was he hiding about his eyes- why was she asking herself all these questions?
She turned on her heel and started walking back towards the main part of town. She would let him broach that subject if he wanted to, but she wasn't touching it with a mile long stick. She was going to go about her business as she had planned and try to stop acting like some child. But her focus was gone. She couldn't think about stupid potions at the moment. But she was still walking. Staying back there certainly wasn't going to help her think. She pulled her cloak tighter around her, finally stopping when she reached the board with the postings for need of aid
