I'll get profiles up for Mary and Eryn since they're prominent right now lol
I might try and find some photos, but that will have to be later- I'm actually starting to teach now and also the school is super strict on websites and it makes it very hard to find pictures
None of the photos you linked above worked for me...
Hotaru blushed furiously at the three of their reaction having turned to see part of it, "Ridiculous," she grit her teeth before looking at Erynhil, "You will die a long, slow, and painful death for this," she muttered under her breath and he raised his hands, giving a laugh of nervousness. Hearing Alari compliment her, Hotaru got the mask and put it on to hide her face turning as red as the lipstick on her mouth.
"No, take it off!" Eryn stamped his foot, "I worked very hard, you will not hide it, or I swear I'll melt that katana of yours," He pointed at her, her blade in Mary's custody and lord only knew where that girl ever was. Hotaru glared at him from behind the mask but he pulled it off, the cord around the back snapping so she couldn't put it back on. Eryn put his hands on Hotaru's back, pushing her a step or two closer to Larel and then waved, "Have fun, cuties," he grinned before hurrying after Alari and Kaori.
Hotaru flushed and looked off to the side, "Seems you got forced in to dressing up too. What did they threaten you with?" she went to cross her arms but realized what that would do with the way the top of the kimono sat and opted to put her hands on her hips. She caught wind of some food cooking nearby and looked around to try and spot it, before grabbing his arm lightly and leading him over, knowing he was the last person to object to food. Even though it wouldn't taste the same as before, barely like food at all, she felt like she would feel a little more normal if she had something to eat at a festival like this. Maybe it could get the red off her mouth too.

Eryn caught up and sped past Alari and Kaori, knowing he would need to do some damage control. He hurried down the road, through all the people, coming up on Mera from behind. Though forcing his sister to do anything was impossible, he had won her over with one of the finest materials he owned and she was hiding it under that dingy old cloak of hers. He came up behind her and she whirled to see what had ahold of her cloak, only to assist in it coming off. It was more classic in length, being a deep, rich shade of green as the main colors to be the contrast to her brighter red hair. It was simple but the material was fine and cost more than most people in the town could afford. However, Eryn was trying to get his sister and Alari to be something more official after seeing the way his sister reacted at the mere mention of the man, how she sought to defend her girlish emotions that she had never truly shown before. He had tied the kimono in a way that also showed a bit of her shoulders, and just a bit of her chest, showing some of the tattoos that came up off her arms and back. The clearest one was a rose that came over her shoulder, the edges of the petals touching her collarbone.
"Give that back, Eryn."
"No. You and Taru are so frustrating. You let me dress you up and then you try and hide it- What did you do to your hair, I had it all nice and braided!" He turned her around, starting to redo the braid, "He's almost here and you were practically unpresentable! You should have seen how they looked at Hotaru and she blushed, it was absolutely adorable," he beamed as he really quickly tied the braid, pulling an extra green ribbon from his bag, figuring she was going to do something like this and tied it in a bow. He turned her around, the bottom of the kimono moving a little more free flowing than how other people wore it- because he knew she might mess up anything that restricted her movement, "If I had a pretty green gem I would put it on you draw some attention to your assets... You'll get you cloak back when those shackles are off," he said simply before tossing it up to where Mary was on the roof.
"Why am I the one having to hold their things?" Mary grumbled, "I wanna play too," She pouted as she picked up the cloak
"You're much faster than I am and can get away from these temperamental ladies if necessary," he chuckled, "When they're throughly occupied, hide them and then come find me and we'll play lots of games together," he waved before hurrying away again, leaving Mera standing there.
"I so wish I was an only child sometimes," she muttered, crossing her arms, not necessarily caring about the affect it caused
In Dystopia 12 yrs ago Forum: Casual Roleplay
I'll try and get a post in this afternoon since it's kind of clear no one else is planning on posting now, but I'll definitely get one in within the next couple of days.
I can't wait to see if this one gets started soon T_T I need an escape from my immense stress load from student teaching before all the vessels in my eye balls burst and my brain seeps through my nose in my next nose bleed. I have no currently moving in a forward direction roleplays on here and I think it's adding to my twitchy ness

In all retrospect, going to a festival after all that had happened was a poor decision. Or rather a childish one. But there was something she had to get done during this point and time and so she would sacrifice the current better judgement to achieve that goal. She looked at those annoying shackles on her wrists, knowing Alari was the only one who could remove them, but she first she had to bear her heart on her sleeve, to tell him how she honestly felt.
She sighed, rubbing her forehead as children ran around her, laughing at the fun thy were having. She watched them for a moment, envying the fun that they were allowed to have still. She took a deep breath, looking around for Alari. She pulled her cloak tight around her, feeling a kind of chill, regardless of the sheer number of people around.
Mary was also looking for him, standing on the rooftops close by, not sure if he had gotten her message imploring him to not remove the shackles on her sister. Though admitting to Alari how she felt was a big step in Mera opening up herself to someone else, but if he removed those shackles, Mera was undoubtedly going to go after their father, who wouldn't have mercy on her, seeing what he did to their mother. Something hadn't been right with their father for a long time, the air around him feeling similar to what she felt around Sybil, but she had never seen anyone like Sybil before so she didn't know what to compare it to before Mera saved her from him.
She looked at her sister standing on the edge of the festivities, the bright light of the lanterns behind her, people laughing, dancing, playing causing a great clamor that didn't seem to penetrate the air of solitude and silence around her. She looked up and around the village, in to the darkness that seemed blinding in comparison from the lights below, squinting as she searched for that aura- how close was he now?

Hotaru was standing amidst the crowd, watching some little kid try and play a game, trying to catch a fish using a paper net. It seemed like such a useless attempt since the paper was almost guaranteed to fall apart once it hit the water, but the little boy was so determined to catch on for his little sister, "How cute," she smirked lightly before looking around.
Erynhil had gotten his way in getting to dress Hotaru "properly" for a festival after he had shown up bright and early, tempting her with a "guilt free" lunch and by incessantly begging her until she finally said yes. He put her in a knee length blue kimono since she threatened to slice the bottom half of anything longer off that had the typical bell sleeve, her blond hair pulled up in to a rather fancy bun with decorative needle holding in place, blue beads that matched the kimono dangling off it, "I feel ridiculous," She muttered as she looked at herself, the beads brushed across her shoulder, the kimono a little more open across the top, though she refused to let it show anything more than her shoulders, much to Eryn's disappointment. There was no telling if something might happen sometime soon, so there was no sense in making it difficult to get to action quickly, though the little bastard had taken her katana away. He had also tried to put make up on her, though he had only gotten a bit of powder on her cheeks and some red on her lips before she tried to stab him for some comments about how it was sometimes easier to make a man look pretty than her since she refused to let him do anything.
She crossed her arms before starting to walk down the path way, though she end up smiling a bit as she saw the kids running around with the masks on. She stopped at the mask stand and bought herself a fox mask, figuring it could be a little fun wearing it. Once she had it in her hands, she looked around for Larel, wondering where he had gotten to or if he was here yet. She hadn't seen him since she was turned in to Eryn's pet project and she was trying not to be seen by Kaori, figuring any comments that came out of his mouth would seriously just piss her off.
Technically I suppose it's take 3.

Name: Koizumi Hotaru
Age: 20
Gender: Female
Personality: She's always been a bit of a tom-boy and rebel against her parents expectations for her, but never did anything too extreme, still more worried about what other people could do to her outside the safety of her home. Now, she's hasty, and doesn't always think before she acts, mostly assuming that whoever killed her parents will come back to finish the job with her. She's still mostly reserved, however, her temper, at it's worst, is rather explosive.
Bio: She was born in to a middle class family, living comfortably without having to worry on a daily basis about the daily toils others did not too far away from her home. As she got older, her father's business began to have more profit and her parents tried to enforce the standards of the higher class. She, however, was comfortable with how things were and fought back against her parents. She eventually, out of boredom, sought out a dojo to learn some basic sword skills, though it enraged her parents. She went regardless of whether they forbade it or threatened to punish her for disrespect, finding plenty of ways to get away without them immediately knowing and therefore making them unable to stop her. One day, upon returning from the dojo, however, she found her parents had been slaughtered. To this day, she doesn't know for what reason or by whom, but a paranoia lurks in the back of her mind that the person would be back to take her life as well. With no where to go, she took up residency in the extra room of the dojo until a mysterious red haired woman appeared and offered to teach her a more precise form of self defense for the day Hotaru would take revenge for her parents murder.

Other: Proficient with light swords and some throwing knives, also proficient with fire magic.

Name: Scarlet Amera ("Mera") Zaheer
Age: Unknown
Gender: Female
Personality: Reserved to say in slightest; secretive, withdrawn, patient, but she's not someone to take anyone's attitude. She's got an apathetic approach to most things, and doesn't seem to get anger easily
Bio: Mera is what's known as a gypsy. They're thought to be immortal beings, that have a connection to certain elements that assist them with different callings in life. As most gypsy's do, she spent her youth years traveling, learning about the world she lived in and the conditions the world was in. She studied under an apothecary for a few years and a few human folk that knew magic, learning the inns and outs of potions and spells. She learned also that she had an affinity for earth, making collecting her herbs for her potions and such much easier. Even though her affinity, due to her training she learned the basic of fire and water as well, making her quite the adept young gypsy. As she got older, she began making a slow way back to her homeland, bored of traveling, wanting to get in to some sort of standard living style. Her trip was cut short, however, when she was attacked by a human whose magic triumphed hers. The attack was brutal with no known explanation as to why, perhaps because she could pose a potential threat, but it ended with her killing the human but losing her ability to see in the process. She found the nearest village with the help of her affinity, and settled in to a house away from the village itself. She's been there for a few decades now, doing small favors for the locals, and learning how to make more healing potions as well. When she heard of the murder of Hotaru's parents, she figured it would be better to give her something to focus on rather than wallowing in the grief of her parents death, and, as she learned after bringing the girl to her home, the paranoia that haunted her dreams. During the four years that she's been teaching Hotaru to use fire magic, Mera hunted down the murderer through the information connections she'd gained doing her small favors. Now, she's debating on telling Hotaru, and letting her get her revenge.

Other: Has the ability to use earth, and in a way, speak to it. She knows fire and water magic. She has quick reflexes, using her hearing that's definitely improved in leaps in bounds since she lost her sight.

I decided to leave the other guy off it since I haven't used him in forever now, and I'm not really sure what direction to take him in besides killing him if I didn't already have Sybil do that XD Also, I could track down some photos to use for Thanos, Mary, and Eryn if you want me to. I have one I used for Eryn when I tried to put him in an FFX kind of roleplay but the GM didn't know how to say no and there was too many mary sue players and his only solution was to make a secondary thread, which was stupid in my opinion. My brother was in it and I think he said it kind of died anyways >_>. I'll get the IC up soon, if the Benadryl doesn't knock me out first lol.

Name: Marianne Rohsaerie Zaheer
Age: Unknown, but looks to be around 14
Gender: Female
Personality: For the most part optimistic, cheerful, and really just wants to see the people she cares about happy, but not nearly as naive as she pretends to be
Bio: Mary was rescued from her father by Mera when she was ten, still untouched by the unseen force she knew was within him. She fears when he will try to take her back to use her gift to his advantage. She gained her mothers ability to be able to have full control of her mind, something very few gypsies can do. With this she can open up her mind to others, to communicate with them, and she can put herself anywhere that she can visualize. Also she transport items if she knows where they are and has something to replace the item with. Within the gypsy world, there are items that people like her can use without the item causing them harm, though at her age, using the items could break her, not that thing inside her father would care.
She's kept up the facade of being naive and helpless for the sake of her siblings, not wanting them to think that she was anything other than their innocent little sister as she suspected they needed to think they had protected her from what the lot of them had gone through when their father changed. Though he had never raised a hand against her, she had seen what he did to them, and it was permanently etched in to her mind that he was the enemy.
Now that it's been so long, she has travelled on her own for a while, though none of her siblings knew until the two that thought the other one had her found out neither of them had her, and she's gained a certain understanding of why things are the way they are though she can't really put it in to words. She found that there are still times to be happy and to let yourself enjoy what's in front of you rather than focusing only on the negative things that have influenced your life. Because of that she wishes to help her siblings to find their happiness in the truest form that they can and she feels that she understands what it is that each of them is lacking to achieve that happiness, though all of their problems root back to when their father became the monster that he is.

Other: She can only usual her mental abilities to a certain extent over a period before the strain becomes too much and she can pass out, have nosebleeds, and other kinds of lovely side affects.

Name: Erynhil Shaylon Zaheer
Age: "What a rude question to ask!"
Gender: "Unfortunately a male, but clearly that was a mistake."
Personality: It doesn't matter what the situation is, Eryn will find someway to make his business. If it has anything to do with his siblings, then it was best just to assume from the very start that it was his business and he will get very upset if you try and get in the way of him knowing what's going on. He's peppy, energetic, and likes to try and make all things rainbows and butterflies if he can.
Bio: Eryn knew early on where he belonged in the world, and his siblings knew it too, it was one of those things that kind of stuck out. His father, even before he changed, was never found of Eryn's choice of liking men over women, but Erynhil made it clear he wasn't going to change just because "the old dog couldn't learn new tricks." He was one of Mera's siblings who made the choice to not return to the gypsies once he went on his pilgrimage, finding that he liked the freedom and lack of constant glares from the people that were always around him. He found the home that Mera and the gang found him in after being on his own for a year, and he set up a business of helping people to forget their worries in anyway shape or form. There are very few limits of what he's willing to do for good money, though his siblings and their friends get the royal treatment for free, especially his sisters. Though he has a preference for the male gender, the female body is a work of art in the right hands, with the right care, and he can certainly find the best pressure points to help them to relax. Men don't tend to come back after they realize they're his type, but that was quite alright since the women paid just as well with their man's money.
He has absolutely no interest in seeing his parents again. His mother never condemned him, but she didn't know how to accept it either- too brainwashed by the people- and his father turned in to a monster that would probably kill him for his choices. He's quite content seeing his accepting, just as different and sometimes damaged siblings. Just like Mary he would like to see them happy and he's willing to do whatever it takes to create that happiness, including giving them an appealing outfit to catch the eye of the one they're interested in, though he's starting to debate on continuing that with Reina. She's shown up just a few too many times requesting his aid in charming some other poor fool, usually human, in to wanting her- though she didn't need much help. All his sisters had a certain kind of elegant beauty to them if they were hiding it with dingy clothes and hair in need of washing, trimming, the works, and with just a few words, they could probably get just about anyone to fall for them.
His personal opinion of Mera's current traveling party is that he, although surprised she tolerated the diversity, approves. He knew Hotaru before and he finds it adorable that during her struggle, she's growing attached to the little stray that they picked up on the way and he hopes that the duo finds a niche to let them be able to grow closer still. As far as Alari, he's curious about what drives his rather fervent pursuit of his sister, knowing she had to be horrible more than once, to try and push him away, but someone persistent is definitely what Mera needed. His still judging Kaori, however, having seen him here or there trailing behind Alari, though he hasn't seen enough to make a judgement. All he knows is there's something about "profane art" which he might be interested in purchasing.

I'll probably have to post my CS's without pictures if I get it finished by 3:30, I'm at a school that blocks basically everything
Sorry I didn't get it up today, but I will get a couple CS' up tomorrow, as long as you still want more people XD
*raises hand* I wanna play, gimme a little while to throw together a lovely little character for this

also, would you prefer I make a teacher since there are a healthy number of students here? I know you just commented about it, but it matters as to which and how many characters I decide to use *looking for key to character chest*
