I've written an introductory IC post. Once you've created a character and I've accepted it, you're free to make your first post.

Generally, the first post of a character includes a little background, at least of that day. As such, it's typically longer than all others going forward.

Once everyone's made a character, I'll do the same and play will go forward from there. Feel free to ask anything here or on the slack chat. I'm fine with everyone worldbuilding/setting up the setting as they will. (You know the general nature of the society and I don't mind if you provide descriptions or whatever of things I haven't talked about.)

I do have a briefing post of what happens when everyone makes it into the room. Try not to describe the inside of the room (end your post with opening the door and entering the room, I'll modify mine to fit whatever people have decided the door is like).
You have a meeting at high noon with your team in DC-BR152, a simple briefing room within the capitol building of Derograd. The mile-square pyramid of architecture erupts from the center of the eastern port city bearing the country's name. The city sits as a perfect square, including its seaside border where the land has been heavily modified to achieve this shape.

Various deliveries and patrols buzz about the capital, all on official business only. The citizens of Derograd remain, as usual, sedated within their homes, moving only to eat or breed, models of perfect peace. All Dreamers and any person of particular aptitude is well at work to the Overlord's bidding. Each one does its part to improve the world.

The Changing largely train in military fashion and watch the streets for dissidents, some by air and others by land. The Transferrants provide for every material need. Obedient Mundanes of reasonable fitness bring Nocturn and ration cakes to the residents. Poverty doesn't exist and fatigue is rare.

After Awakening
200-500 years ago, various dream-based powers appeared. The catastrophic aftermath forever changed the world. Ten percent of the population died in the first month due to the effects of nightmares on their bodies. Several victims woke up mangled in various ways. Some woke with their bodies fundamentally changed in ways that failed to live in our world. Others woke riddled with bullets or other weaponry.

This particular roleplay follows the events in an in-person GURPS campaign. The party will most likely be a team of professionals sent to stop the "Unmoving Alliance" (the party from the campaign).
