Bio

I have been actively roleplaying for around 18 years now, since age 15. Which, as you might have guessed, makes me 33. I've done most of my rping on forums, averaging 2 to 4 paragraphs. Though I also LARP, and have played D&D for about 17 years. Real life has become a larger part of my life though, so my activity has lessened. Even so, I don't think I'll ever stop rping. :)

I figured as much. >.>;; Isn't there any way for him to compromise? You know, seeing how she -did- get him out and didn't try to kill him yet, instead helping with the escape... (well, most of the time.)
Okay, seriously...what's so important about a handshake? It's easy to betray you if a handshake is all it takes for you to trust them. >.> This isn't an IC thing, I'm truly puzzled. ^^;;
Uh...you don't mess up all that often really. >.> But now we need to fix this or the rp will become kinda...difficult. ^^;; Heck, the idea was, as i said before we started, that the escape would be rather straight-forward. You know, just a thing to get the characters introduced to each other and get things going.
Uhm...I guess so, a little. >.>
And technically he did make a deal with her. He promised her gold, a ship, anything (before she demanded a ship) if she let him out in return. She let him out on those words. So the very next thing what she would be doing now in my post would be to pretty much tidal-wave the alley, throw them both out into the open, and try to rip his head off. >.>;;
In her mind, shaking ones hand is an empty gesture. Actions, not words or symbolic gestures. That's what she believes in. So him being so adamant on a simple handshake puzzles her, to say the least. Also, this is not exactly the time for the captain to have attitude problems. ^^;;
Well...this isn't helping... ^^;; I mean, it's like you -want- her to try to kill him. >.>
Actually...Ceres would be shaking his hand about right after he mentioned her not doing so. Something along the lines of her grabbing his arm to shake his hand, while saying "Fine, here, happy? We shook hands, now keep to our deal or I'll personally see to it that you're back behind bars before sundown you ungrateful bastard." So...this time your post was a bit too far ahead. >.>;;
(It's pretty far but still okay. I can work with it this time.)

A question came out of nowhere. What she believed in? That was a though question. What did she believe in? To her, there was only the next adventure. Belief didn't really come into question. "I don't know. Nothing really, just myself." She spoke, trailing off at the end. "But why would that matter right now? We have escaping to do and ships to sail off on!" She then added, turning her attention to the horseback marines that were following them. "Quite a few already found us it seems." She spoke, aiming her pipe at a first, and then a second marine while blasting water at them. It still reached them with enough force that both marines were knocked off of their horses, and moments later trampled by the others.

However when she turned her head, she found that Octavius was now gone. She growled, glancing around her until she found him up on one of the rooftops. "Fucking asshole! Like hell you're escaping off of this island alone!" Without hesitation Ceres jumped off the cart as well, sending a wave of water up to the roof and transporting herself through it to get up top as well. Now she was pissed. She wasn't just going to let him run off without saying a word. And once the woman did catch him, he better have a good explanation for what he was doing right now.

After a good bit of chasing, and Ceres watching Octavius pull off some crazy stunts, the man finally came to a halt. And inside of a pile of cloth no less. It was an odd sight, at the very least. The man had a mythical Zoan fruit power, said to be able to rival Logia ones with some training and skill. Yet he was cowering from rather weak marine soldiers. Sure, dozens of them would be a pain. But they weren't nearly at that point yet. She was still pissed off at him though, so a little lesson was in order. "Bombs away~" She whispered to herself before jumping off of the building she was still on. In mid-air the woman turned into a large body of water, which hit the pile of cloth right in the middle, soaking all of it in an instant.

Ceres then reformed her upper body, making sure to stay below the pile so any marine looking in still couldn't see her. "I'm hoping for your sake that you didn't just try to ditch me, oh former great captain..." She spoke in a slightly sarcastic, angry voice.
The two continued, this time at a quicker pace. They had to hurry or the building would probably be flooded with marines, let alone the squads that would gather outside. Then, Octavius decided to turn into a room, rather than head to the door outside. She frowned, quickly glancing around the place. What was he planning? "What are you--" But she couldn't finish her sentence or the man fired a shot through the window. Ceres smirked, wondering why she hadn't thought of that herself. Her fellow prison escapee was out of the window in a matter of moments. And though she didn't grab his hand, she did jump out right after him. The thing that puzzled her was the hand he extended towards her. Didn't he know the details of logia fruit users?

Octavius ended up in a cart below, though Ceres didn't. She hit the cobblestone instead, her whole body turning into water and making quite a splash. In the time that Octavius fired shots at the marines she formed back into a single puddle, and then into a person again. Just as the cart started to move she managed to grab onto the edge, pulling herself on top of it as it raced off. "Phew! That was step one of the plan. Now, you implied you could get us off of this island. Any idea's on how to do that?" Marine ships were too large to steal. They couldn't man that with just the two of them. As for civilian ones, they were on the other side of the harbour, which would make it hard to not attract the attention of at least a few dozen marines. Ceres had never been a fighter before. She had been a cook on a pirate ship for quite a few years, but that had felt like she was just a pretty face to keep the men entertained. Getting her devil fruit powers helped, but her mindset was still one of 'taking the safest path'.
