Bio

I have been actively roleplaying for around 18 years now, since age 15. Which, as you might have guessed, makes me 33. I've done most of my rping on forums, averaging 2 to 4 paragraphs. Though I also LARP, and have played D&D for about 17 years. Real life has become a larger part of my life though, so my activity has lessened. Even so, I don't think I'll ever stop rping. :)

Lol, all the more fun. xD What fun is it to have everyone agree with each other? :P Besides, as I said, it's more meant as an action/adventure rp (operating outside of the law) rather than a 'pirates murdering and plundering' rp anyway. ^^;; Also, she would be a lot less...confrontational than Ceres. :P
Oh, you're right. :) Then I guess we'll see about throwing that ship in some time soon.

Also, I want another woman on board. If only to screw with Octavius a little more. xD The navigator preferably. I was thinking a lady (So rather out of place on a pirate ship. :P) figthing with a staff. Not as strong as, say, Ace. But strong enough to hold her own against the average enemy.
yea sure. I would like to re-read it. :)
Huh...I only remember the powder keg... Ah well. we'll see about where to find that ship then.
Wait, when did this happen? :o
Who's on the Simurgh again? :P
First mate, vice captain...Ceres didn't care what he wanted to call her. But she'd be damned to settle for anything less than second in command. Her days of serving others were through. Well...kind of, since Octavius himself was still there. But it was better than being a ship cook and sort-of-mascot. "Nearest port it is!" The woman exclaimed, turning the ship into the general direction of where she remembered the nearest town to be. It wasn't the most friendly of places for pirates, but if they didn't cause trouble or stand out too much they would be fine. And since they didn't have wanted posters yet, apart from Octavius maybe, they should be fine.

"Get to the sails! Bring 'er back into the wind boys!" She exclaimed, Ace, Cyrus, and the few remaining other crew members moving to get the sails turned into the right direction. And once again they were off. Things were going relatively smoothly so far. If the captain's trust in his former crew mates was as justified as she hoped, they would soon be ready to head out for the grand line itself. Though there was still one very important person they were missing. A navigator. Well, and maybe a musician. But that one was less needed. Without a good navigator they wouldn't make it very far on the grand line. It was the most difficult sea of all to sail after all.

Once the ship was on it's way again Ceres ordered one of the crew to fetch the map. As she wasn't entirely sure if she was heading into the right direction. Ace, in turn, went back to what he had been doing for most of the trip so far. Resting against the rails and pretty much nothing else. Ceres already didn't expect the man to do much ordinary ship work. He was more a swordsman than a sailor. Luckily he at least took action when he was really needed. And they had a few of the idiot thugs left to scrub the deck and such.
"As I just said, back to the starter city. I want to first see how things are going there. We can decide what to do after that." Information was always important in any game, if you wanted to stay ahead. If others had wandered outside as well, then Alakai might want to train some more just to be sure. Otherwise, it was probably better to get some rest and let everything that had happened sink in. And if they had gone out, maybe others were willing to share information of how this world worked. For instance, if you died or if you got resurrected in this world.

The trip back was a bit less uneventful than when they set out. Apparently monsters had decided to wander out of their normal area's a little. And now they were also close to the road. One particular group of low level goblins had decided to block the road. So the monsters weren't set to their ingame AI as Alakai had hoped. It meant they would have to be careful while travelling from now on. That being said, the small group of adversaries were very easily dealt with. They were only level 10, so they were very easy to beat.

The sun had fully gone below the hills, and it was getting pretty dark when they finally arrived at the city again. Though things seemed rather...quiet. No players just outside or at the gates. So Alakai thought that the other players hadn't taken action yet. Or most of them hadn't at least. Once they had crossed the bridge into the city though, they were immediately approached by a dozen or so players coming from all directions. "Some players came from outside! They made it back!" Someone shouted in the distance. News spread rather quickly it seemed. "How was it out there?!" "Is it dangerous?" "Did you meet the other group that went out?!" The two were bombarded with questions before they could even get off Alakai's mount. Though Alakai was interested in only one of them.

"Other players went out? When was this? And how many?" He asked. "Well, a group of six went together to scout the area, but they haven't returned yet..." Came as an answer. Alakai thought for a few moments, then sighed. "To answer some questions... Yes there are monsters out there just like in the game. Yes they will attack you. We don't know if you can die though...so I can't tell you if it's safe. And we didn't meet other players." Some players were frightened, others disappointed. But any information was still better than none at this point. "Ah, but if anyone is interested in going outside we found a buckler and some crafting materials to make armour." None of the players around them seemed interested. Though since word of mouth seemed to spread very quickly someone would probably come to them sooner or later. "Kali, how about we go to the inn and rest for a while? After that we can maybe go outside again for a little bit and train a bit more." Alakai said this as he was already riding his mount further into the city. He wanted to get away from the crowd that was starting to form around them.
It didn't exactly take long for everyone to return. No surprise there. Normal people couldn't hope to do much against a devil fruit user most of the time. Let alone a devil fruit user, a top class swordsman, and a small crew of makeshift pirates. However not nearly as many returned as went on the other ship to fight. Together with Octavius and Ace only 4 sailors came back. To Ceres that was fine though. With a crew of 9, five of which were far above your average thug, they could still easily keep the Duchess Gambit going.

"Where off to now captain?" The woman asked, ready to start sailing off. Though immediately she got a very weird look from the man Octavius had brought with him. "Er, cap'n...there's a young female at the wheel...wuts goin' on 'ere? Spoils of plunderin'...?" Ceres sighed, shaking her head. "You're looking at your new vice captain, so show some respect asshole! Besides, I'm pretty sure I'm older than you despite what I look like!" Once again Octavius got some very strange looks from his gunnery captain. He knew some crews took on women, but to see Octavius have one as a vice captain was odd to say the least.
Hey, it's not -always- you who is wrong... I'm not your girlfriend/wife. ;)
