Bio

I have been actively roleplaying for around 18 years now, since age 15. Which, as you might have guessed, makes me 33. I've done most of my rping on forums, averaging 2 to 4 paragraphs. Though I also LARP, and have played D&D for about 17 years. Real life has become a larger part of my life though, so my activity has lessened. Even so, I don't think I'll ever stop rping. :)

Guess I'll go along with it then. To keep the story moving along. :P
I was hoping to move away from the interrogation part with my next post. And...I wasn't going to have her trust the company at all. So...is there any other way you can think of that he might be able to convince her? If not I'll go with it, but you know...
Decided to put up a basic character sheet in the characters section. I suck at text descriptions. :P
Name: Zara Dijkstra
Age: 28
Augmentations: A cybernetic right arm, which provides constant similar strength to when she gets an adrenaline boost, a small personal computer, and for some reason a lighter in it's thumb. And a cybernetic left eye, which enhances vision (zoom/night vision) and gives a basic tactical hud when needed.
Appearance:
The man first asked for a cigarette, then started explaining why he was there. Some company just wanted some of her blood, and to observe her. The problem with that was, that it all sounded too good to be true. It was like a ticket out of this hell hole and into a decently comfortable life was just handed to her for free. She growled softly as she thought about what might be behind this offer.

Back to the first topic though, the man looked nervous as hell. He was even shaking a little. Clear signs of withdrawal. So either he was trying to quit, or he couldn't buy any cigarettes at the moment. She didn't really want to part with hers, as they weren't exactly cheap or easy to get for her. But it was hard to hold a conversation with him this way, and she knew the feeling of not being able to smoke while someone else was smoking all too well. She reached into her back pocket and took out the pack. Then with her left thumb she even lit it for him before holding it through one of the small holes in the bulletproof glass. "This is the only one you're getting." She spoke, waiting for him to take it before continuing. "Now, back to the issue at hand. I have no reason to trust you or this company you're speaking of. So you better come up with something to make me at least trust you if you want to stay alive."

The deal did sound very appealing. And if at least the man himself could make her trust him enough that she didn't think he would want to put a bullet between her eyes, she would be willing to listen further under less...stressful circumstances. There was no way she'd trust this supposed company he was working for. But that might at least be worth checking out, considering the potential rewards...and potential free all you can eat buffet.
It took Zara a minute or two to find a decent pair of pants. And what's more, this pair still had her cigarettes in it. "Huh, I thought I'd lost this pack..." She mused as she took one out and put it between her lips. For her, a lighter wasn't needed. Her arm, or more specific, the thumb, could produce fire. Apparently the last owner thought it made them look cool. Though she had to admit she had never lost a her lighter since.

The woman arrived at the door just as she puffed out some smoke, turning to looks at the visitor with quite a bit of distrust in her eyes. "Right now you have about a 10% chance to make it out of here alive." She started, scanning his appearance once again to make sure he didn't pose any immediate threat to her. A slight smile appeared on her lips as she continued. "The other 90% consists of you becoming part of the food chain. So, start talking."
Haha, well, that she won't have too much of a problem with. xD
She is SO going to aggravate him some more...because she -does- smoke. xD
Zara expected the man to just leave quickly. However, instead he decided to talk to her. And his words made her both pissed off and worried. "Fuck...someone ratted me out. I'm gonna fuckin' murder whomever it was..." She grumbled, trying to think of who it could have been. The people doing business with her knew to keep their mouth shut. Or so she thought at least. Now she was presented with a problem though. She didn't want information of her coming out, so she wanted to just shoot this guy up and be done with it. Would provide her with three days of free food as well. But at the same time that would likely attract attention to her location. The main said he had a proposition, but given her position, she wasn't exactly eager to trust any random stranger that didn't want to immediately murder her.

There was another option, but it was definitely more of a risk. Hunters were crafty bastards. Her second line of defence might not be enough. With enough firepower, or enough technical know-how there were ways to circumvent it. It at least gave her a bit more time to think, and less chance for someone to find the mess if the need arose, though.

Zara pressed a few more buttons on her computer, and the turret disappeared into the ground again. A moment later the lights turned off and the door slid open. "Enter." Her voice came through the speakers. She waited for him to do so. And the moment he had indeed entered, the doors behind him closed and locked themselves. The man then found him in a hallway, with reinforced concrete walls on both sides, and a door made of metal bars, lined with thick bulletproof glass across from him. This door, was also locked. Though no one appeared just yet, as Zara was still only wearing panties and a T-shirt. So she rushed to her bedroom, to at least get a pair of pants to wear before meeting her unwanted visitor.
Nah, I understand. I have the same problem at times. :P
