Bio

I have been actively roleplaying for around 18 years now, since age 15. Which, as you might have guessed, makes me 33. I've done most of my rping on forums, averaging 2 to 4 paragraphs. Though I also LARP, and have played D&D for about 17 years. Real life has become a larger part of my life though, so my activity has lessened. Even so, I don't think I'll ever stop rping. :)

Lol. Sure sure, don't let me stop you. xD
Sure go ahead. I'll think of something for the intel one. No need to immediately flesh them all out though imo...we could maybe think of stuff as we go for them.
"Sure, an hour it is. Have fun~" Alakai replied, letting Kali go ahead first. She seemed to barely be able to wait to check out the stores. He himself wasn't actually that interested, as he didn't think there was anything they'd need for their levelling. And that was the only thing he could think about when thinking about what to buy. Well, that and some proper swim shorts. He just couldn't see himself wearing speedos... The man walked at a normal pace as he headed into town. There were a few other players around browsing the shop, but the place was still relatively empty. Kali was already out of sight when he arrived at what looked to be the general store. And since he was here, he decided he might as well take a look. Sometimes you didn't remember you needed something until you actually saw what it was after all. Soon after, Alakai was already heading to some food stalls. Not to actually buy anything, since it wouldn't have any taste. But he did want to see if he could get idea's for his own cooking.

This ended up in him instead offering the two stall owners some of his food so they could taste what he meant by flavoured food. And he even left the address of where they could get more of such food should they be interested. It kind of felt like he was advertising for the inn, though his goal was just to share something wonderful in a world that didn't used to have it.

Alakai saved the clothing store Kali had gone to for last. The people there hadn't ever heard of specific swim wear before, so he explained what it was as best as he could. Eventually the man behind the counter offered a pair of shorts that weren't meant for swimming, but could definitely be used for it. Alakai decided to buy it, thanked the shopkeepers, and headed for the entrance of the town again. He was a bit early, but figured that Khronos might like some meat to eat. The man kept some of his meat raw to feed his tiger.
Still, it's not usually the stuff you see in fantasy, and more in actual history. :P
Oh and one more thing: The npc's literally see us as their creators. As in, we're almost like gods to them weren't it for our mortality and not residing in the realm of the gods. "Supreme beings" somewhere between gods and mortals you could say. Of course that isn't the case...we're just normal players of a game that got transferred into hugely powerful, but still mortal bodies. But that's how they see us. You can see it as, while the npc's weren't conscious during the game's time they will remember that time when they become real. Just interpreting it as if the game world was also real.

And I added some 'flavour text' for my 2 npc's so far as well.
Npc's don't really have a background in the traditional sense. I mean, they're npc's that you created for guild functionality. They're basically enemies with standard game AI that possible assailants would have to fight to get to the main guild areas. That being said, since npc's are customizable, you could say those bits of text are just flavour text descriptions you gave them when creating them. :P

And to be honest, a description like that might be good. As their personality in our rp would be determined by that flavour text. I will probably write something similar for the npc's I create. :)

Also, please don't forget that this rp will have a D&D-like setting. As in, there's a lot of fantasy involved. Demons, angels, orcs, dragons, magic outrageously unpractical gear giving huge defensive/offensive bonuses because game mechanics, adventurers getting 'quests', and all that jazz. Not saying you should change your characters. I already kinda figured you would go with a more historically accurate style. Just making sure you know what kind of rp it is. :P

EDIT:
A note on your weapon of choice. That's a Zweihander. My favourite realistic 2-handed melee weapon. :)
Some info on the power structure:

The guild master stands at the top of course. Below that came the 7 generals, of which only your character is left. Below that came the other players, though none of them are left obviously. Below that comes Daniëlle, kind of a main guild management npc in the game, but the head of all npc's in the new world. Below that come the 7 npc heads. They're sub-management npc's for offense, defense, guild bank, interior/exterior design of the guild, maids/servants, intelligence/information, and the guild's monster arena. These npc's are all also strong fighters with their own skills/spells and function as floor guardians of the 7 floors of the tomb of nazarick. And finally below them are a few hundred other npc's. Like maids, monsters, soldiers, etc.

Also, I figured you could think up npc's for the offense and defense positions at least? And if you happen to have idea's for any of the other important npc's I'm all ears of course. :)
It had been five years since Yggdrasil had launched. But finally this full body virtual reality mmorpg, one of the first of it's kind, was going to be shut down. Player count had dropped too much due to other games becoming more popular. And there just weren't enough players left for the game to remain profitable for the company behind it. The one huge selling point, player freedom, just wasn't enough to keep players from moving on to the next new shiny game to play. That is, of course, apart from the last 30,000 or so people that were still playing on the single remaining server. At least in the west. The tomb of Nazarick was one of the guilds that was still active. If you could still call it a guild that is. It only had a few active players left. And now that the server was shutting down, only two remained that stayed until the end. Everyone else had said their goodbyes and left. The great tomb of Nazarick. Both a famous and infamous PvP guild, being among the top 5 guilds on the server. But now it's halls were empty, it's custom npc's stood idly and silently, and only two players were there to witness it's last moments. One of them being the guild leader.

Sanguine sighed as she finally arrived at the throne hall again. A large throne stood at the far side, with two large wooden tables on the sides of the room. Chairs adorned with names of all the guild members lined the sides facing the walls. A large line of npc's was following the lady towards the throne as she walked. These were the npc's that had been created by the guild's generals and herself. Npc leaders, of sorts, that gave access to ingame commands to manage the guild's other npc's and functions. Sanguine herself had created 2 of them. Jeeves, a human male butler of middle age, whom was the head of the tomb's maids. And Daniëlle, a female elder vampire, and the head of all npc's. Though she looked like a teenager at best.

"It's so empty here now..." The woman softly spoke, remembering the great parties the guild used to have in this hall. She had brought all of the important custom npc's over, wanting to make the throne hall feel a little bit less empty. Though of course npc's couldn't really do that. They could only follow commands, and reply with a limited set of pre-determined responses. At least she wasn't completely alone, as there was still one other player with her. "You here?" She called, wondering if her friend was nearby. "The servers will shut down in half an hour, so...you know..." The main reason she wished her friend would join her was something she wanted to keep a secret. She had a huge crush on him ever since he had joined the guild. However they didn't even live in the same country. And an online relationship just wouldn't work. So she had never told anyone, feeling stupid for falling for a guy she hadn't even seen in real life yet. But at least she wanted to see him as his ingame avatar one last time, before they would likely never meet again.
Name: Sanguine Ithil. (decided to use my usual online name since, you know...)
Age: 24.
Race: Pureblood Vampire.
Class: 30 Mage, 30 Necromancer, 30 Summoner, 10 Enchanter. (basically, a character heavily based on summoning with some powerful mage spells and weak buffs/debuffs.)
Gear: As expected of a necromancer, her weapon of choice is a necromantic tome. Though at times she will switch to an unholy staff if she wants to boost her direct magic damage rather than her summoning and support magic.
Appearance:

NPC's:

Butler Jeeves:
Always composed and loyal to a fault. Jeeves started out as a simple soldier, but quickly gained fame through his strength and cold and calculating battle strategy. The man quickly moved up the ranks fighting in the name of his lady Sanguine, and gained his own following of several dozen men. Even when Sanguine was outed as a vampire, he remained loyal to his charge. This earned him a form of early retirement most soldiers could only dream of. He was to be turned into a living familiar. Remaining human, but never ageing. He now oversees the servants in the household, training them to be warriors on top of maids, making even the servants in the tomb to be feared by would be enemies. Despite his more passive role, however, one would be foolish to think that he has lost his touch. While not the strongest general by far, he can still easily hold his own against a large squad of normal soldiers.

House Steward Daniëlle Belrose de Chauvelin:
Daniëlle was once a powerful vampire lord of her own, with many a servant and soldier fighting for her. She was known for her brutality and blood lust, people hiding away in fear by just rumours of her appearing in the area. However all of that changed when one day she suddenly just disappeared. In truth, of course, she hadn't disappeared. Instead, Daniëlle had challenged another vampire; Sanguine. After a hard-fought battle the vampire elder had to finally admit defeat, realizing that Sanguine was someone she could never defeat or control. Not only that, but she found out that long ago it was Sanguine that had created her in the first place. So she swore loyalty to the victor, knowing that following such a strong pureblood vampire as well as her creator would surely lead her to greatness as well. Today she oversees the generals as the house steward, demanding loyalty through her strength and strict adherence to the rules set by their masters. Not to mention her distant blood ties to the guild master herself.

Spymaster Ryltar Corobel: (Made by former general Karon Blackhammer.)
Ryltar is a male drow, rumoured to be the guild's spymaster. Though those are only rumours, as no one has actually caught him in the act, and barely anyone outside of the guild has even seen him. A good spy keeps himself hidden after all. The man is an expert at information gathering with a team of 10 spies, 2 jailers and 1 interrogator under his command. His complete face is even a mystery to anyone but his creator, as Karon liked 'edgy' things and made the drow the brooding and secretive type. And thus he always covers most of his face with what you could assume resembles ninja head garments.
