In Japan, fifteen teenagers were brought into a sick and twisted game by a mastermind and the diabolical Monokuma. It became a kill or be killed experience where only seven survived.
In Washington, DC., a twisted individual took this to heart, starting up a new school called Unity Academy near Hollywood. It was there that they invited sixteen teenagers to become their new student body. Each student invited had their own Ultimate talent of the highest caliber. Once they arrive, however, they will be greeted by a nauseating thought.
They will be trapped in the academy for the rest of their lives.
The only way for students to escape the academy is to murder another student and get away with it. When a murder occurs, a "class trial" is held, in which the remaining students must determine amongst themselves who the killer is. If the students can successfully determine the true culprit, that person is put to a gruesome and ironic execution for disrupting school order. However, if the wrong accusation is made, then the true killer will be allowed to leave the academy whilst everyone else will be put to death.
It's a life or death game of deduction, deception, and unity. Will you be able to escape the clutches of Unity Academy and figure out which of your fellow fifteen students is the true mastermind behind all of this?
Rules1. Basic rules apply (good grammar, no god modding or bunnying, etc.)
2. It's recommended that you come up with a new SHSL/Ultimate title for your character, but if you bring something new to the table, you might get to use a previous SHSL title.
3. Since this is a Casual roleplay, at least give a paragraph per post.
4. Try not to send a new reply until at least two others have posted before you.
5. Right now, you are allowed two characters. Of course, they could be killed off at anytime.
6. The killers and victims will be decided when the motives are revealed each chapter. As for the Mastermind, once your character is accepted, feel free to PM me me and tell me if you want your character(s) to possibly be the Mastermind.
7. IC Drama is fine, but OOC Drama is stupid. Don't do that.
8. Other rules will be implemented as needed.
9. Most importantly, have a lot of despair-filled fun!
Monokuma's RulesRule #1: The students will live inside the school walls. There is no time limit as to how long they can stay there. The only way to escape is by winning a School Trial.
Rule #2: The time between 10pm and 7am is called “Night Time.” During the ‘night’, students must stay in the dorm area.
Rule #3: All students should sleep in the designated rooms in the dormitory area. Students found willingly sleeping in other places will be punished.
Rule #4: You may investigate the school however you want, as there are no special restrictions on your actions. Explore to your heart's content as long as the room isn't locked!
Rule #5: Breaking the locks on any locked door will result in punishment!
Rule #6: You cannot harm the school’s headmaster, Monokuma, nor can you destroy any of the surveillance cameras. Yes. I will be watching your every move, Upupupupu!
Rule #7: A “culprit” who kills a fellow student will graduate, but only if they can convince the other students that they are not the culprit. If the culprit succeeds, the culprit can leave, however, as punishment, all the other students will be killed in the culprit’s place. If the culprit is proven guilty, however, the culprit will be rightfully executed.
Rule #8: After three people or more discover a dead body, a “body discovery announcement” shall be made so everyone knows of the death.
Rule #9: If after twenty-four hours and no one is killed, the students must attend a mandatory event in the auditorium where a special lesson will be taught on the subject of "Motives!"
Explorable AreasDormitory: A dormitory that has the names of every student on their respective rooms. Also has a small sitting lobby.
Cafeteria: A cafeteria housed with non-perishable food. If need be, students are allowed to cook. Houses knives.
Library: A library giving information on Hope's Peak Academy and the students of that academy prior to the first Class Trial.
