Absolutely astounded... Blown away. Received the best feedback on any writing piece I've ever done and I honestly have no words to express how good it feels to see the work pay off.

Nah, completely normal stuff. Let's put it this way, it's nothing he can't get over, move on from, etc. But as a kid, I can honestly say, it's stuff that he'll move on from before high school is even over.
I mean personal life events. In the words of River Song: "Spoilers." Don't worry, I don't mean anything to screw him up as a human being or game breaking. Typical coming of age things and things that just happen to people in their childhood ^_^
Ohh dear, that would take a lot of fixing on his part. He'd actually very likely have a real panic attack. I've done really screwed up plans for his months/years to come. ^^" poor guy.
^^ poor James. I'm giving him some actual problems that are gradually growing. Like, serious issues. :3 I'm very excited. Thanks ^^ I really enjoy playing him. He's quirky and excitable about some things, but tries not to be lest somebody judge him ^^" some things are terrifyingly reminiscent of myself, in smaller ways.
"Gyah!" Kimi cried out as something hit her from the side and threw her to the ground. Up became down, left turned to right, and the small girl's senses were were distorted by all three dimensions. Over and over... her body and... something else tumbled repeatedly. "Ugh..." She groaned, finally coming to a stop. Her cheek was pressed flat against something and as she opened her eyes, she saw her hand and wriggled her fingers. Okay, she was... conscious. She shook her head, pushing herself up with her hands slightly. "What?" The last thing she remembered, she was just about to unfreeze from using a sword skill and was going to retract her blade. So... What hit he-

She cried out in terror, "What are you doing lying under me?!" She shouted out, closing her fist and bringing it down on his chest. It looked like every ounce of blood in her veins had run directly to her face. "Are you some kind of... pervert?" The girl asked before looking down and seeing... Oh god, why was she straddling his upper abdomen? He'd tackled her off of the worm? What kind of idiot... "Baka!" She shouted before she was yanked off of the other boy by Jason. "J-Jason, what are you doi-" She was about to ask before having a potion thrust into her hands. She started to drink it, "Wait, what are you planning to..." An expression of pure horror came across her face, botching the pronunciation of Jason's suggestion with more vowels than it needed.

It was mere moments before she found out exactly what he meant. At the top of her lungs, she screamed out, activating a very extraordinary single-hit rapier sword skill <<Flashing Penatrator.>> "I'm going to kill every single guy in this damned room!!" Her voice rang throughout almost the entire desert as she flew directly through the worm. She came out the other end and landed on the other side of the mob, her feet slamming into the ground as they sent her sliding several metres forward until her momentum died. She slashed the air with her rapier and spun on her heel, preparing for the next attack. Nero was already on it however. He'd been waiting through the events of the last round, waiting for the very last second to release his <<Vorpal Strike.>> His blade had directly lined up into the beast's already cut-up midsection, slicing it cleanly in half with the skill extending the effective range of his blade.

As the monster disappeared, Nero noticed he had received an item labeled <<Ice Crystal.>> Curious object, that... He'd have to see if Yuna knew anything about it. He'd also been granted a bonus for getting the last hit on such a powerful opponent, it was just material for gear. More for Yuna to look at, he supposed. Kimi on the other hand, found something labeled <<Lightning Crystal>> in her loot rewards. Whatever it was, she assumed it was powerful. Once everything called down, Kimi sheathed her blade and clenched her fists, trembling slightly in humiliation.

She marched straight toward Suto, thrust a finger into his chest, and spoke loudly, "You! I was perfectly capable of handling myself up there. What the hell were you thinking, tackling me like that?! Not to mention that embarrassing position you put us in... Baka... I can take care of myself." She then turned her fiery gaze to Jason, "And you! Don't go smashing me with that hammer when we're not even in danger! The recklessness you practiced just there was... potentially fatal! Not to mention it was terrifying and unorthodox and absolutely insane!" She walked past him with dignity, sneering until she had moved beyond him by just a step. She cocked her head over her shoulder, "It was exhilarating... Don't do it again without some kind of planning first," She said quietly, placing her hands on her hips, a thumb hooked into her sheath's connection with her belt.

Nero, however, was looking to Kazaro as the virtual samurai sheathed his katana and observed his new <<Fire Crystal.>> What was with him? Why was he going so ballistic before? Of course, it was rare that Nero broke formation or screwed up, but he put his guard down for a moment... It was a dangerous thing to do, of course, but it wasn't something he would have let happen had he felt unsafe. Everything was fine when it happened, was Kazaro really just that obsessed with keeping things uniform?
A pair of cables stuck into the ground directly beside Alois, Ava's lightning quick descent made an audible thud as her feet met the forest floor and her knees absorbed the impact. "Driuker! What the hell was that?" She asked venomously, pushing Alois back and taking a knee. "Dammit," She muttered before noticing Zero, who was ready to take off again. "Heidrich, join him - you guys know not to go running off alone. Whether we're safe in training or not, never go it alone," She warned him, pointing sternly, "That's an order." Once Alois was gone, she shook her head in annoyance and grabbed the hem of Driuker's shirt, yanking it up. "Don't get any ideas, Tinker," She spat slightly before muttering, "What the hell were you thinking... You need to test your equipment out off the field before trying it out here at full speed." Her eyes ran over his abdomen and chest quizzically. There was significant bruising on his chest and she furrowed her brow. Her fingers gingerly reached out and touched what was likely very sensitive flesh. She didn't want to hurt him, but she had to find out how badly he was injured; her scores on the Field Medic portion of the test were out of this world, but there was only so much she could do.

She looked at the flare on the ground... Did he throw it up with his right arm? But the flares were on the left side of the body... "Tell me how this feels," She said, softly taking hold of his left arm and starting to move it. He gasped initially, telling her to stop almost instantly. She nodded, "Dislocated... Clumsy idiot," She pointed out, giving him a small smile. "This is going to hurt a lot, so close your eyes and watch the ground, because I'm not telling you when-" She explained, lining up to his shoulder and holding it. In the middle of her statement she let out an "oof!" and a small popping and cracking noise sounded as his shoulder popped back into place. She'd ask about how he felt breathing, but she was sure that if it was hurting, that speech would only be that much harder.

"I know your pretty beat up, but you gotta stand up, alright? I think one of your rips is broken... Don't worry, I think it's hairline, but it's still very dangerous. Breathe with some shallowness, it'll hurt less if you take a small breath, hold it for a very quick moment, then let it out. If you go too deep, it'll hurt a lot." She instructed, moving to his other side. She pulled his right arm up over her shoulders and helped to hoist him to his feet, her hand resting on his hip to keep him steady. "We'll walk back... Baka." She said with a grin.

Meanwhile, Jonah had watched Zero catch his ball and end the game. That was fine, considering the circumstances, but then the boy took off without handing it over. If the ball was lost, he'd be sincerely aggravated. "Don't lose that!" He called out seriously as Kiryuu took off. However, he leaned himself up against a tree as Alois shot off after him and watched Ava diagnose the injured Driuker. As the machinist was pulled onto his feet, Jonah took his other arm carefully, not wanting to hurt the just recently fixed shoulder. He didn't say anything as the three of them started to walk back to the camp.
Hope my post didn't get too wordy or repetitive ^^ I'm sure I've mentioned it before - but let me know if you ever have any critiques or feedback, I'm always looking to improve. Namely on my imagery, but on all aspects of my play (:
James frowned when he noticed he'd upset Sasha. "I know, I'm sorry... Really... And my mom didn't want to talk to yours until she knew if you even wanted to go... But... I forgot... You know I get distracted really easily. Every time I remembered, I was either just falling asleep, or on my way to school, or something..." He looked down to his lap anxiously. "Sometimes, I get kinda flustered and if I try too hard to remember something, it slips from my head and I start to panic and I-I... Ugh I don't know..." He explained, releasing her hand and nervously crossing his arms with his gaze averted. Why was it so hard to tell people about things like this..? His doctor had said it was a small form of ADHD. He wasn't overly excitable or energetic in class, but it seemed like he couldn't quite focus when he was told to remember something. His mother, as much as she loved him, would get rather frustrated when she'd leave the house and ask him to do something, come home, and it wasn't done. A lot of people would accuse him of making an excuse, but she knew that if she wanted something done that writing it down was going to make it more likely. Sometimes, when he was trying to recall something and couldn't quite bring it to mind, it would frustrate him to no end.

"I'm sorry, we'll just drop it... Let's just enjoy this tonight, Sashie. If you don't want to go or can't go, that's fine, we'll just make tonight our Valentine's... or any night - we can hang out after school for the rest of the week too," He said, trying to cover himself. "I don't want you to have to spend Valentine's alone..." He said sadly. He scooted close to her again, frowning. "I hate seeing you so mad... or anything but happy - I like your smile," He pleaded, biting the inside of his cheek as he felt his heart taking a hammer to his sternum. Why couldn't he be better at these things? He always felt so awkward and his anxiety spiked every time he did anything beyond casual conversation. Sasha always managed to help him keep his cool and stay calm - it was just the atmosphere around her all the time, it kept him easygoing. However, when he got like this, he had to remember to stop worrying himself. The last thing he wanted was for her to see him have a panic attack or anything. Matt never had problems like this either, James was sure of it.

The boy pulled back again and cleared his throat absently, pressing a hand flat to his chest, taking a few easy breaths in and letting them out. A seemingly mutated form of ADD and slight anxiety made for the perfect bundle to make others think he was awkward and even rude sometimes. The rudeness was something he worked hard to combat, and often he was successful, but still people would mistake his uncontrollable dismissive attitude. Say it, or you never will... He warned himself as his heart raced faster. His throat closed and he felt like he was choking, but he swallowed forcefully and looked over to Sasha.

"I just... I wanted to make your Valentine's Day really nice, since it was the first time we'd both have a date for it... And I forgot about the trip every time I had a chance to ask... And... I wanted to wait until the actual day, but... I love you, Sasha Watson," He said sincerely. It felt like the night they first kissed again, and the dance... This was the first time he'd actually been able to say it at all, but he actually felt exhausted after pushing through his nerves. "You... I... Yeah, that's... that's all," He said, failing to find more words than those three...

Why do you care about what some random person on an internet forum thinks about you? It's infinitely worse to just disappear than to say why you want to leave. If they take offense in your reasons, then it's questionable whether they are worth the time and effort of roleplaying to begin with.My complaint this time is directed at myself. After not believing in the negative stereotypes of roleplayers and believing myself impervious to them, I am now convinced that they exist and that I can fall victim to them as well! Feels great, actually; much easier to identify and avoid them now that I've seen them in action.

To which stereotypes are you referring? Now I'm interested in this as a topic, as I'm sure we all notice different trends and a multitude of complaints here come from people picking out the ones they don't like, but it's always fun to see what someone perceives as a stereotype versus another.

From my personal experience - and I don't really do the described activity often, I'm just playing Devil's Advocate and trying to think of a reason why someone might do this - I've stated my interest early on in an Int Check based on the concept, and then a bunch of new ideas have been added to the RP, and it's ended up with me doing a 180 with my interest in the RP, and not wanting to participate. That's happened a couple of times with me. That said though, you'd have to be remarkably picky to do that in dozens of RP's one after the other, and I know it's not the case that int check goes like that. But might explain some at least? IDK.

Sound point. However, I still find it extremely rude to do so and not say something about not wanting o participate or something to say you're out.
