Absolutely astounded... Blown away. Received the best feedback on any writing piece I've ever done and I honestly have no words to express how good it feels to see the work pay off.

"That makes literally no sense," He pointed out flatly, sighing in irritation. Maybe this place would just be full of foolish children and he'd have to spend every waking minute of the day trying to figure out what nonsense they were speaking now. He looked past her for a moment, trying to grow aware of his surroundings, hoping she was alone.

"If you were going to kill me, you'd have already done it. Now, you've missed your chance," He stated, waving a hand dismissively, "I must be awfully interesting for you not to care who's in the other container..." A small smirk formed on his face, "Don't you want to meet the person who's at fault for me ending up here?" There was a hint of hatred in his voice, but he spoke the truth - it was that woman's fault that he was now here, in Area A.

"'Cause trust me, you don't want to turn your back on that can of peanut brittle - she's nuts." His observation was all too serious - whether she was actually crazy or not remained to be seen, but he already had a negative opinion of her for getting him to here.
Oh, and for those of you who missed it because we're too chatty: the OOC is up, link is on Page 1.
The entire situation diffused in that instant and he cocked an eyebrow at the curious young girl. "That's... That's your concern?" In disbelief, he shook his head, "Ten seconds ago, you were going to gut me like a fish! Now you're..?!" The man stopped, took a deep breath to level himself and then let it out slowly. "That's... my ability, I guess." As her drill-tail moved behind her, his did the same, mirroring her movements carefully, still not exactly trusting. In fact, less so after her sudden attitude shift.

"Who exactly are you? And why the hell are you way out here, attack random people? That's a good way to get killed," He said skeptically, his eyes narrowing as he held her gaze, watching for even the slightest movement. This container was cramped and he still had no idea where the hell he was, come to think of it. He hadn't stepped out yet - he could be in the middle of some city, about to kill a kid, right in front of everybody. But he didn't exactly know the layout of Area A, as the information was pretty highly classified. No, he was going into this blind.
Doo, she ratchet. Who you foolin'? Pshhhhh...
Meet Felicia

Nuuu Olminu-chan D: no seppuku. But if you must...

Hideki... John... Midori... Every one of his squadmates turned on him. He'd done nothing but lead them well and show them exactly how to handle these... things, these "Users." And what did they do? They took the first sign that he might be one of them and they threw him to the law as though he'd been trying to gather intel all these years. How could they? Ten years on the force, his own comrades, locked him in a crate and took everything he'd worked for - said he was one of them. Like he wasn't human.

Fuck them all.

He decided if he ever got out of here, he was going to hunt down each and every one of them for turning their backs on him. They'd be dead if they ever saw him again. That went for every no-good, slack-jawed, braindead piece of shit on the UDF too. The container lifted, it was pretty obvious when his center of gravity shifted and his weight pressed more firmly into the side of the cell. His lip curled back in contempt and he rose to his feet as soon as the ground was beneath it. He crouched down into a position that prepared him to sprint and readied both hands at his side. As soon as the door opened, a blue light gathered around his arms and a large blade sprung forth from a handle which materialized into his hands. Then, he waited. This container felt like an animal cage. When those doors opened, it was supposed to usher a new home, even if it was a prison. But to him, it just felt like one big corner. It wouldn't matter how many miles they made this island or how distant from those walls the center was. There was nothing out there for him.

A moment later, the doors hissed and pulled aside and he was greeted by somebody already standing there. He squinted his eyes, but couldn't make out too many details. He certainly didn't recognize her, but her casual attitude as she stepped away was unnerving and held a certain venom to it, to say the least. There was no time to react between her disappearance and another figure emerging. Eli readied the sword again as this one was instantly recognizable as one of the mutated Users - a driller. But she was just a fuckin' kid. What was with that look in her eyes?

"Hey, don't take another st-" He was cut off as she darted forward. More importantly, her tail began to close in more quickly than she and he took what little time he had to raise the flat of the blade up and brace it with his free hand, catching the pointed attack just in time.

"The hell do you think you're doing, freak?" He asked rhetorically, releasing the block as he dove forward and let the tail fly past him. His sword... or rather, that of the last User he encountered, vanished from his hands and sight. For a moment, he seemed to go be bottling pain, his entire body rippling and shaking as, from his own back, a drill just like the young girl's burst forth from his own back and watched behind him for her counterattack.

"Get the fuck away from me," he warned, his golden-brown eyes boring into her almost-dead ones. She was a fucking sociopath... That glazed expression... Was she born here? Was this place really that awful? The drill-tails watched one another intently, like snakes preparing for battle as he squared off with the teenager, his hands poised for her attack. "Leave me alone, and I won't cause you any trouble."
Name: Elijah Tyler Harrison

Age: 28

Appearance:
Here

Ability: Mimic or "Show and Tell" - he can manifest the powers/mutations of people he encounters, given that he experiences them first hand. Be it an attack received, or an individual just showing it to him. However, he doesn't just collect power after power... He must discard the previous one to take a new one and "rediscover" it should he ever want to use it again.

Alignment: Neutral Good

Brief History: Elijah was born a bastard in western America to a normal, loving mother. She claimed his father was killed by a User before she had him, but the lie didn’t hold up when he started to manifest his own power. His parents were never married and his father never claimed him, but his father was a User. Eli was born in a world, however, where just being one of these monsters was a criminal offense; his was special… at least, he thought so. It wasn’t like he had a real power – he just used the ones from other people, surely there was no harm in that? He joined the UDF when he was seventeen, just before finishing high school. Training began only a few days after graduation. He was never documented or caught until just over ten years later… One reckless abuse of power, a single witness, was all it took to get court-martialed. He was stripped of every accolade, rank, and title he’d earned through those years and it was the fault of nobody but the god damned Users. If he was going to Hell, he was taking every one of them with him.

Arrived in Area A after being captured with Alina.
Maybe you should stop looking at gender as such a strict, binary set of parallel lines, bro. Stop oppressing the Divined, they're special snowflakes. k?

Kidding ^^ Vena made the Divined, listen to that guy. ^

Sienna moved easily about as Zoe answered her questions and the two made themselves comfortable. She reached under her counter and pulled out two unlabeled cans and an opener, cutting through the facile material with ease before pulling the tops up and handing one over to Zoe with a plastic spoon. "It's canned stew. Nothing special... Be careful and don't cut yourself on the edges," She instructed before digging into her own. As she ate, she moved about and made sure all of the windows were securely shuttered and boarded, using one hand to test them and the other to hold her food and utensil. "A vault dweller? A rare breed, you lot are... You'd do well to be a bit more careful out here, what with the slavers and the violence around the oil settlements," She said between bites, finally taking her space seated on the counter again. "Nasty business outside the city... It's nasty inside the city too, but at least it's civil if you live close to the Bazaar."

She grinned, "Don't wanna talk about it though? You've come to the right place, then. People out here..." The girl shook her head and readjusted, sitting cross-legged and pointing at Zoe with her spoon, "We don't care where ya been. Where ya came from. Fuck, most don't even care where you're goin'... 's not about nothin' but what ya can do for them an' what they can do for you." She tipped the can up and scraped around the edges, making sure that none of the food was sticking to the sides of the can as she took another bite. It wasn't warm, but it took so much more resource out here to heat something up that it was honestly worth it so long as it wasn't cold.

"Never been to Sydney? It's a pretty nice place. Don't get your hopes up though, it ain't what the bumpkin settlers out here make it out to be, I promise you that an' more. If you go in without expectations, you'll like it. If you go in expectin' paradise and a safe place to sleep at night, you'll be pretty sore after the first week." Sienna's eyes were scrutinizing as she looked Zoe over, biting the inside of her cheek for a brief moment, "I didn't realize there were enough of you around to want to leave those vaults. Good on ya for it, not an easy thing leaving home. I left my family's little hovel when I was seventeen, yeah? We lived in one of those caves, like out in The Pedy, but a lot smaller and with a lot less other people. Went out hunting with a few others one day, massive dust storm hit and... well, we lived in such a small place, ain't nobody got it written on their maps. Couldn't find my way home for ages. By the time I got back, they'd all moved on. Musta thought me dead or summin', I dunno," She explained with a shrug, her eyes downcast coldly for only a moment.

"But, that was years ago. Nothin' I can do about it now 'cept keep moving, living... It's what we all do out here." Again, she watched Zoe's slight indications of distrust and wondered from where they stemmed. "I'm not gonna off ya, if that's what you're thinking. I'd've done it by now... What's got you all twisted up about me?" She outright asked, standing up and putting a hand on her hip with an eyebrow cocked.
