Absolutely astounded... Blown away. Received the best feedback on any writing piece I've ever done and I honestly have no words to express how good it feels to see the work pay off.

Fitch raised an eyebrow as Kenshin's voice approached them and he began to ramble. He covered his mouth as he smiled and Yari just nudged him and gave him a stern look, turning to Kenshin. "It's okay, Kenshii," She said, having quickly adopted the petname for him, mostly to tease him. "Fitch and Suto did the same thing without telling the rest of us... We know you like to push yourself, just be careful," She commanded sternly, resisting the urge to smile. The girl huffed, thinking, before Fitch stepped into the conversation.

"Orcskin is a basic material for the very earliest of gloves... You probably remember we got some on the second floor, near the middle of the floor, but it was a bit rarer back then. I'm positive that that's just a basic tier, though, because there are orcs on slightly higher floors that drop things like 'orchide' - which is just a little bit better, to be honest, but it is different - and orcscales, which one might think are scales off of the orc, but they're pieces of scale armour made out of this... orc metal stuff... It's a pretty good metal - it makes some of the weapons and armour with a really high durability; however, it's not very keen on strength. It's heavy and... Yeah, I'm rambling, sorry. The scrapmetal only for selling, as far as the beta testers found... and plain stone is a cheap thrown weapon. Pretty good idea to hold onto - they stack and you can use them to get the aggro on a mob by dealing the first hit if you just throw them. They're a basic, though pretty heavy, thrown weapon. Really weak, but more of a tool than damage-dealer," he explained without much hesitation. Yari looked at him, perplexed, it was like he was a walking database of items on these early floors. He knew more about the items than the descriptions might provide and he didn't even have to rack his brain.

She merely laughed and shook her head, "Guess that's that, then huh? Keep your money, Kenshin. These two are going to - we all make our fair share. We don't need to do the math to split it all, if anybody needs something, then we'll figure out funding," The girl chirped, She then turned to see the tower in the distance, a small flicker of adventure alight on her face. To others, it was daunting and part of the trap of the game, but she couldn't help that sense of curiosity. With that thought, she stood up, clapped her hands together and nodded, "Alright, let's gear up and go, okay, guys? I know you three just got back, but we already agreed to go out today, all together, so come on, you're not getting any more of a break. You'll be fine until tonight, anyway," She said firmly, placing a hand on her hip and opening her window. Different parts of her body flashed as light metal equipment began to appear over her topped by a basic double-ended spear of a brilliant silvery steel followed finally by a similar tiara with a bright blue gem in the middle. She didn't like how flashy it was, but it gave her a small DEX boost and she didn't want to give that up until something better came.

"The field boss is bound to be attacked tomorrow, I'm pretty sure the meeting is tonight, if you guys are interested. Apart from that, we've got the jungle for the rest of the day with whatever hunting parties are out, so where do you guys want to start?"
This thread is a continuation of the original Of Deceptive Intentions, wiped by the move to the new site. But it's all good, we're back and better than ever!! Without further adieu, I'll give you a small rundown of what you've missed.

To any who are not familiar with out roleplay here, it features anthropomorphic characters, so if that makes you uncomfortable, please read no farther.

And that's all of it! Seems we're ready to start and first post shall be mine. ^_^
“Sir, we have visual,” A voice spoke quietly into the radio. Silence returned and sixty seconds passed. “Command, I repeat, we have visual. Do we advance?”

Greg cleared his throat and placed a hand on the other man’s shoulder, “Sarge. I think we need to get moving – we’ve got no signal out here, we either need to get to higher ground or you make the call.”

There was a sharp cut which followed, “I don’t believe I asked your advice, Staff Sergeant. Get back to your post,” The Sergeant Firce Class snapped before turning his gaze back to the sight on his rifle. The small squad of six had dug into the woods of the mountains and had eyes on a surprisingly extravagant house, waiting for nightfall to move in.

The Staff Sergeant looked to his brother skeptically and shook his head, lowering his voice as their squad leader called into his radio again, “I don’t like this, Tommy… Something’s wrong here…”

“What the fuck?!” Came another voice suddenly. This one lowered the binoculars from his face, “What the hell is that..?” He held out the equipment for their head, who snatched it up.

“Quiet down, corporal,” He said sharply, gazing into it, “What the hell are those things?”

The binoculars made it around to Greg who moved up and furrowed his brow. What he saw were the most grotesque things he’d ever seen. Their skins were of greens and their noses and ears were large and pointed. They were stouter than the average person, but they also carried things like axes and blunt boards… How many were there? A quick head count estimated about twenty and they were just running up the mountain at the house, expertly weaving through the trees of the mountain. Greg lowered the binoculars and passed them to Tom, bewildered.

“Sergeant, what do we do?” He asked, eyes wide as he adjusted his rifle to his shoulder, clicking it to automatic from semi-automatic.

“Nothing… Let’s see what happens…” He said before holding his radio again, “Command, this is Sergeant First Class Wellington, come in. We have eyes on… I don’t know what they are, but they’re not normal… Something is attacking the target, we need orders.”

Finally, a response came, “Wellington, you and your squad are going to be in the dark. Something’s happening here – we have no time. No evac is available, no time to explain, just get the fuck out of there.”

“Colonel Briggs, what the fuck is going on?”

“I said no time, sergeant. Get out of there, we can’t evac you either, the base is falling… This is the end. Godspeed, Delta Force... Do not engage – whatever it is you see, we don’t know what it is. GET OUT.” There was a loud whirling sound in the background as the transmission cut out. The man had thrown aside the radio as he reached the end of its cord and burst from the room he’d been in, headed for the only black hawk left, already powering up. He’d never make it – like he’d said: there was no time. There were shouts and screams, snarls and gunfire riddled in the background of the radio.

“Colonel? Briggs? What… What the fuck?!” Wellington tried vainly to get the device working again, but the fault was not on their end and it seemed they had lost all contact…

The whole squad looked to him for answers and he had none… Gunshots rang out across the mountain as the people in the house began to fight back. They didn’t last long.
Shh... first OOC Post.
Seeent~
I sent the whole of the Red Seminary information over to Avery as well. Would you like it too, Love?
EVERYBODY CALM DOWN. Scout... Has arrived. *Bows deeply* Please, please, no more applause.

I have to see what's on my laptop here as far as info goes, but I know I have all the Red Seminary stuff and my character and relationships... This won't die! We'll find some way to fix what's been damaged. The site is 100% safe to RP on now, but if you're unsure, we can just save all of our posts in case and add everybody on Skype. ^_^ It's so good to see everybody is still here... I've been so worried, you guys <3

Anyway, Scout is reporting for duty!
Hey, Avery. Who all can you keep in touch with? I only have you and Fox on Skype and Zephyr has been in touch... Do you have any idea where Love has sauntered off to? ;n;
