I'll preface this on saying I have no way of knowing how anyone asexual, or any other orientation for that matter, feels. But I would never date anyone I don't feel sexually attracted to. I'm sure this is different for asexuals as if they followed this logic then they'd date practically nobody. I'm sure they do. Mayhaps just date somebody they hold close to themselves or something. Sexual oreientation is different for every person and this is the area where it becomes "weird"/"complicated" for asexual. It's up to X to decide how Akane does her thing. I feel that Jun has "better chances" with other characters, but again, it's up to X (and Reaper).

Edit: Did some research on ace peeps and yes they have perfectly normal dating relationships and I apologise for implying otherwise. Also note that's not the only reason Jun has no chance.

Ok sorry but I'm honestly confused about where this came from?? This comment had pretty much zero relevance to anything imo.

also Sho I don't get why you want to stick to he/bi/ho for orientations. You yourself said it's an integral part of identity and, while pan is basically bi, asexual should not be erased because it's "weird". Which is also a bit rude of a thing to call it.
